From early in the booking process to when we first stepped on the boat, Capt Sam was extremely knowledgeable about what was biting, areas to fish up and down the intercostal, all while educating on technique & the local environmental factors at play. The entire charter Capt Sam was engaged and kept the vibes light & positive throughout. We ended up landing a few keepers (2 Pompano & Trout) and several smaller species like jack & pinfish. Capt Sam also provides some great advice on cooking up the Pompano after providing some nice fillets. I inquired about the $5.00 off for the Facebook like and suggested making it $10.00 off for a Facebook poke as well. The guys working the counter didn't find me funny. Quick and easy - we went off in search of a used glove. My son tried on a couple of 11 and a half gloves - they were too big. We ended up with a size 11 that fit pretty well. Fire a round and the smoke cloud lingers in front of your face so that you have plenty of time to inhale it. Enter Native Water Sports! We've seen the store several times but never went it. We decided to go and we are so glad we did. Ted, the owner and operator, graciously helped us get the proper parts and told us he'd call us back to the store once received. About a week later, the parts were here, and Ted and my husband arranged a time at the shop. He not only helped install the rack to ensure that it was safely mounted, but he also showed my husband how he did it and was very hands-on! It took them about one and a half hours - and we were good to go. He showed us how to use the straps, how to take the pads off/on, etc. You can absolutely tell Ted is a well seasoned professional kayak guy - not only that, but he's friendly and just a genuinely nice person.
