There is no other place to look for an auto body shop in the Utica/Rome area. Bill runs the place with as much care and concern for each vehicle that comes in, as if it were his own mother's vehicle. No exaggeration. I had repairs done a year ago when someone hit me, and he was thorough and did excellent work. This year, during a snowstorm, when a tree hit me (pesky trees jumping out and hitting our cars is a big problem in Central New York), I once again took it back knowing I'd have tremendous work done. I was not disappointed. Even a minor dent I put in the truck loading a hay bale was fixed (without me asking, or being charged) so that the truck looked like new. The cherry on top is the detailing they do to the inside of your vehicle - whether it was related to the damage done or not. It's like you're getting a brand new vehicle when you pull out of there. Mary Lou and the rest of the front counter staff are tremendously friendly, and keep you informed all along the way. This place is the example for how every business should operate with regard to customer service. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They're just that good. read more

Incredible service both in the shop and at the front desk. My truck had custom parts and they brought back the truck to 100 percent pre accident condition. Overpriced bad customer service just money hungry can get work done probably half price cheaper just bad

WOW. I just picked up my truck from the shop. I hit a deer last Wednesday and it had considerable damage to the front end. I am better up and running again BETTER than it was even before the deer strike! The work was done, done right and done with a smile. The office staff and the owner Bill are wonderful to work with. Very kind and nice. I will reiterate everything in the above posts. The truck was not only fixed but detailed inside and out. I had some rust spots starting to show around my wheel wells that I asked for a quote to just touch up and to my surprise they just did it at no cost. (it wasn't finished body work mind you) however something I would have spent a solid day doing myself. I will not bring my vehicles anywhere else from now on. Great work Bill and crew! Great customer service and they went above and beyond not only with repairs (I went in with accident damage and they also fixed minor dents not related to the accident free of charge!) but also with detailing the car inside and out. I hit a deer with my car. Upon reporting it to my insurance company I was given 2 pre-approved body shops in the area to have my car fixed. Upon researching on line I found Whitesboro Frame & Body Shop had excellent reviews. I have to agree. Once I called them they picked up my car that day. Do you want to have your "pal" back on its legs---err---wheels? Then go, go, to the best fixer-upper. in the body repair business for the last 30 years. The owner, Bill Chromczak, is a stickler--every car leaving his shop is in better shape than when it came in---better even than factory specs--and that ain't no lie! I have known the owner for years. He has the latest high-tech stuff to bring your "pal" home in one piece again. Also, he works with the customer in all aspects:insurance, etc. Take a look at his shop and that will tell you something: SUPER CLEAN. Enough said, go see Bill, if the worst happens to your "pal". Those in the know deal with Whitesboro Frame. Need another new family "pal?" I have bought a Chevy, Pontiac, Lincoln, BMW and Mercedes. Some of them he has liteerally brought back from the dead into sparkling shape that have trveled the road of despair to a new , happy life to its owner Reason being is that Bill's profit edge is lower because he fixes all makes, and sells as as an adjunct to his business newer used cars. Be advised, ex-wrecks are not repaired and sold. Most cars have warrantiwes Bill's an expert in the selection process for obvious reasons. He has resurrected some of my most cherished above "pals". Quality work. I know their push for high quality or OEM parts/material first hand. They put a lot of effort into repairs, and did a great job making sure my car left looking better than even before the accident. Great team. Everybody there was great and pointed me in the right direction to any of my questions or concerns. The work was done in a satisfactory time as well. I had a pretty good idea of the kind of shop this was prior to taking my car there and they still exceeded my expectations. They touched up multiple scratches that weren't related to my accident at all and the car was detailed nicely. Bottom line is it shows in the work they do, that they care.
