I pulled up and the car in front of me was told to sit in the middle of the two stalls, waiting for the next stall to become available. I parked behind her. A rude driver pushed around us both and parked in front of one of the stalls. The worker (Rauel) came out and told me to go to the other stall... the rude guy wasn't able to get his oil changed and the guy BEHIND ME went next. THEN that car was finished quick and I was STILL waiting. They are so inconsiderate and rude here. I would NOT recommend. read more

Previously I posted a review of Tallmans Tires that was factual but not indicative of their business dynamic . After this review rating of 1 I reached out to them and suprisingly they were extremely reseptive to my concerns . I asked for a refund and they obliged me without hesitation. Their attitude warrents me to improve my rating to GOOD . Tallmans used to be reliable and honest . What happened to them? Made an appointment to have my car serviced with a premium 4 wheel allignment . After all the excuses they made for inferior work they charged me a little over $200.00 without favorable results . I informed them that I was not satisfied and I wanted my money back and more excuses followed . Since this very costly and unpleasent experience at Tallmans I have found other more reputable Auto Service Center in the area at much better prices . My advice to you is avoid them for your own piece of mind and for for your wallets health . The only reason I paid them in the first place is that I felt intimidated and pressured to pay up . read more

I have to say that their customer service, professionalism and care is outstanding! The Manager listens, diagnoses and responds respectfully and I will not take my vehicle to any other shop...hands down. The dealerships of in this area should take a note from them regarding how to treat customers, especially Don's Ford, because, though I bought my vehicle there, they do not have a clue as to what customer satisfaction means. Drop the car off, eat a bagel at bagel grove across the street. The cost for snow tires to be put on was very reasonable. Nice staff too.

We we were told the transmission (manual) would need to be replaced (cost in the thousands), along with other work. Had the vehicle diagnosed at a local shop in Utica. Issue was related to the shift linkage and they only charged ~$40 to fix. One of many issues with Tallman's that I don't care to address. read more

Incase anyone notices ... I left a review for the yorkville location and well it wasn't good. I moved to this location and have been much happier. I got in quickly and was treated much better. I had studded snow tires put on for the first time last week and today in the snow noticed my wheel was turning on me and made me nervous. I called and steve told me to come in ( even though they were close to closing time) and they took it for a drive to make sure everything was ok. Turns out no major issue but fixed the air in tires and told me it was just because of road conditions etc that was pulling it to the side( I'm not a car person and didn't understand it all) but I was very happy that they took the time to reassure me. Very pleased with service and would recommend to anyone. Nice people. read more

Highly recommend going here for your car needs. Very friendly and accommodating over the phone when scheduling and appointment. Dropped my keys off and after test driving the car they called me letting me know the problems. Turned out it wasn't as bad as I thought and they gave me the true problems. Went back at hour later to pick up my finished car and Steve was awesome! Great multi-tasker helping everyone in the store. What a great experience! My daughter goes to school in Utica and I live 4 hours away so when a spring broke on her car I was very concerned about finding a good garage. I saw the reviews here and called them to set up the appointment. The guy I spoke to was understanding and helpful. When my daughter showed up, he quickly determined the problem and prepared a very fair quote. He promised the car would be done on Friday morning but finished it up Thursday evening.
