Called 'em up and was assured that'd be easily doable. Had the bike towed there so they could assess it, determine what all would need to be done, and provide a cost estimate. The assessment took a little while (a couple of weeks), but once they'd determined that, they got the repairs/replacements done in under a week! Wow! The price was also incredibly fair. When I stopped in to pick her back up, I finally got to meet the folks and see the shop, and I gotta say, it's clear these folks like bikes and like working on bikes. This is their jam. The employees are friendly and helpful and their hands are stained with grease-- exactly who you want working on your vehicular baby! She's been purring perfectly ever since for all my zooming about town. The shop decor is fun too-- they've got a pinball machine on free play if you need to kill some time while you wait. On my way to the bathroom I saw they even have some arcade-style motorcycle SEGA games! They have merch for sale like t-shirts. Bathroom is immaculately clean for a shop toilet. Impressive. I took it to platinum motorcycles and discussed options with them over e-mail. They had great ideas on how to bring it back to life. In the end, we went with a new cobalt paint and re-chrome. They even did a little Texas custom logo on my air cleaner. Man, the work is awesome! Tore it down and put it back together again. I can't believe it's the same bike. They were super thorough, very knowledgeable and really friendly throughout the whole deal. I give them wholeheartedly 5-stars. Their prices were great and work was top notch. And all this over e-mail mind you. I've never met nor talked with them once. Final note that this was over the COVID-19 period. That's the sign of a great shop doing great work.

My son who is 21 years old and I spent almost half a day negotiating a price. Once agreed on, spent the other half of the day applying for finance, pulling his credit, he had to open a Random account with dealers prefer lender just to get approved and dealer selling the bike to someone else. Heartbroken and exhausting! They did mention someone was going to look at the bike but we figure hey we have the upper hand because we already doing all the legwork! On several occasions we ask if they wanted us to drive to dealer in the mean time, they responded no lets wait for application. I ask hey can we hold the bike until his approval comes back? Responded no holds. Again, I figured they making us do all this so they are thinking we serious and they will eventually believe we are actually buying the bike. If not why will they make us do all this? Once approval came in, gentlemen called us to say hey your approval is in but we sold the bike. Do you want another one that is considerably more expensive? Right there I see this is done on purpose! Now my son has an account with some bank, waste of time, and a ding is his credit! Not counting all full day wasted! This should be illegal and is so unethical.
