Ryder was kind and serving em up nice! He hadn't tasted one yet, which I recommended that the servers all taste and know what they're dishing! It was FANTASTIC! Coordinators Terri and Christie kept the evening smooth, we're professional, helpful and happy to be there! Brandon was eager to hear feedback on the great food and team. The bartender Leighton (?) was very personable and kept the line moving and guests hydrated! This went on until the day before and The GM was even notified and I only got 1 call and no emails back. The day of comes along and we had requested a charcuteri tray and fruit . Since Noone had called us to talk about final pricing etc we had assumed we be paying per tray, that was not the case. We got charged 8pp for a large plate of fruit and cheese and proccuito. This should have fed 30 people and what they served was maybe for 10p. The buffet sat out and the guests were never told it was in the trays, when I had to ask if our food was ready the waitress said it had been out . When we went to eat it the chicken was dry ( guests feedback) and the pasta Luke warm. They also had put out a Peach crisp that was just a tray or mushy oatmeal and peaches mixed together - there was no crisp involved. It is a shame because my bridal shower last year was wonderful. The set up was nice however we only saw the event planner 1x and they didn't even introduce themselves to host. No explanation of bill was made when invoice was presented, as the event coordinator ran back out of the room.

I recently played Kimberton Golf Course, and I can honestly say it's one of the most poorly…read moremaintained courses I've ever been to. For $60, you'd expect a playable and well-kept track -- but what you get here is mostly dead grass, huge patches of dirt, and inconsistent fairways and tee boxes. The conditions are downright unacceptable: * Tee boxes are uneven, bare in spots, and filled with weeds. * Fairways look more like abandoned fields, with dry, patchy areas and minimal healthy turf. * Rough is inconsistent, with overgrown weeds in some spots and dead, dusty soil in others. * Many areas look like they haven't seen water or maintenance in weeks. Golf is supposed to be challenging because of the design, not because you're hitting off rock-hard dirt patches or trying to find a blade of grass under your ball. Charging $60 for this is ridiculous -- it feels like a $20 muni course at best, and even then, I've played $20 courses in much better shape. Until they put serious work into fixing and maintaining this course, I'd recommend taking your money elsewhere. Kimberton has potential, but right now, it's just not worth your time or your wallet.
