Easily the worst golf course and golf experience in the area. I'll be detailed because the…read moreincredible hostile man at the front desk said he'd be commenting on this, so I want all the details here for everyone's We came to the course with 8 guys all 40-50 year old. We planned a 4 vs. 4 team scramble and got two of the first tee times of the day (7am and 710am). Two of the guys were only going to do the first 9 holes, so we mentioned this to the guy at front desk. He said it was fine, was friendly, and helped us coordinate the teams so we could keep moving after the two guys left. All was good and we finished the front 9 in under 2 hours. On the turn, one of the remaining 6 had to go to the bathroom, so after 4 of us hitting, we let the guys behind us (threesome) play through. They were ready, so no issue here, we didn't want to sandwich them in. Because they took a while to get going, all 6 remaining guys teed off to keep things going and we figured we'd get off the 10th tee. We finished up super fast and BEFORE the ladies behind us got to the tee. As we approached the 11th tee, the guy from the front desk pulls up and absolutely loses his mind on us. He threw more expletives at me than I've ever heard. The most unprofessional experience I've ever had on a golf course. He was very upset because someone called the clubhouse and said there was 6 on the green and he was upset because "do you know what it makes me look like having 6 on the green?!" He didn't politely ask us what was going on or if we could speed up, he immediately attacked us and screamed at us. It ruined our round and one of our 6 left because they were so upset at how we were treated. After this event, we finished in less than 4 hours with no issues outside of the horrible course conditions and guys blowing leaves in the middle of the fairway onto our balls. I went in after our round and asked for an apology and the man admitted he "blew his lid" and "lost his cool", but refused to apologize and blamed us for not listening to him when we checked in. It was all our fault in his mind and he was super hostile. It is wild to treat paying customers like this. We are all regular mid handicap golfers who play at courses all over the area and I've never been treated like this. In hindsight, looking at the reviews of this course and seeing how this man at the front desk treats people and especially the reviews speaking to his treatment of a young handicap child, I'm not surprised at all with our experience. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone and I'll never go back here again.

On June 28th I had not yet received the clubs and Andrew was generally unresponsive regarding status of the order. On July 14th, I requested that the order be cancelled. On August 8th, after repeated effort to secure a refund, I filed a Civil Claim with the Magistrate's Office. I am presently waiting for that process to play itself out. I would not recommend purchasing golf clubs from Andrew DeCordre Golf.

He tells you…read morethat he is tired, eats food, and stays seated for the entirety of the lesson (if he doesn't cancel.) I paid for five lessons and have not been able to complete the last two because he keeps cancelling last minute with no notice. The last lesson he cancelled last minute he told me to "hit the range," but I had already planned my whole day around the 80 minute round trip and 50 minute lesson. I reached out to him for a refund for the last two lessons (that he keeps cancelling) and he has not responded in over 3 months. As for the golf, Andrew has you "warm up" for the first 10 minutes where you hit balls without instruction. Andrew then has you chip balls for the last 20 minutes of the 50 minute lesson while saying "good" or "bad" which is not instruction. This equates to a 20 minute "lesson" for $125. He has not completed his service for the last two lessons that I paid for or given me a refund and therefore has stolen money from me. It is unbelievable how horrendous Andrew is at his job and how little he respects his client's time.

Also with the intention of buying a new Ogio bag for my clubs and small walking bags for both of us. To our shock, their "master fitter" not only refused to do a fitting "because it was too close to closing time", but wouldn't even schedule a fitting for us on another day. Instead, he told me to "go ahead and try to book a time on line". I get that we were there later in the evening, but to refuse to help with a fitting, direct us towards some clubs that would work for us or to even put in the effort to schedule a time for us to come back, blows my mind! Being in sales, if a potential customer came to me and wanted to buy several high value items, the last thing I would tell them is to go away and look it up online. Getting people through the door and ready to spend money is the whole reason stores spends millions on advertising every year. This guy took that opportunity and absolutely blew it! Not only losing revenue of a returning customer for the store, but also the opportunity to outfit a new golfer who needed everything from shoes, to gear, and a whole set of clubs. We would have spent at least $3,000- $4,000 this evening, probably more, had we been given the opportunity. Instead we spent about 20 minutes browsing around, picking out the Ogio bag, the Stealth Driver, the Ping putter, the Callaway set of irons we will now purchase from another retailer before driving the 40 minutes back to our house without spending a dime in that store. Maybe it's because I'm a woman that he didn't take my business seriously. Maybe he just didn't want to actually have to do his job. Maybe he was tired or lazy or just didn't give a care. I don't really care about the why. What I do care about is where I spend my and if that retailer values my business. Clearly this guy didn't want our business this evening. I hope he has the opportunity to see this and more importantly, I hope he works on commission.

There's one 18-hole course, and it's around $10 per person. The best part is that you can stay and play as many times as you want, so you can get your money's worth if you're up for multiple rounds. Or, more realistically, you can play again to try to redeem yourself after that embarrassing 6 on the 4th hole! The course was well maintained, fun, and just challenging enough to keep things interesting. There's quite a bit of water, and it's surprisingly easy to find yourself fishing your ball out of a pond. Fortunately, the balls float, and there are strategically placed nets in the spots where you're most likely to need them, which is a nice touch. You'll also find the usual obstacles like rocks and "sand traps." Although, calling them sand traps is being pretty generous--they're more like rock traps. I would have liked to see a little more theming throughout the course and some different types of hazards. Once you've conquered the water and rocks, there isn't a whole lot of variety. They also have an indoor, air-conditioned snack bar serving Nelson's ice cream, which is a pretty great way to cool off after a round--or recover emotionally from the hole that just ruined your score. Overall, it's a nice, well-kept mini golf course with reasonable pricing, unlimited play, and a few good challenges. It may not have the elaborate themes or crazy obstacles of some of the bigger courses, but it's a fun place to spend some time and definitely worth checking out.
