There is an option to use My Chart, but rarely, if ever does a doctor reply. It is an MA or staff member. The persons who answer the phones for the clinic are short - tempered; act too busy to talk; rude; one hung up on me the last half hour telling me "you can't keep changing doctors"! Where do these people come from, and how do they get hired on to a health care provider, being the first patient contact! I have huge reqrets that due to my Medicare insurance, this is the only provider available. The last three doctors I have seen, are stoic and act to busy to interact. I am hoping my 4th choice (whom my husband has seen) will be amicable.

IRHC have been the home care providers for three people in my life - my next door neighbor, a close…read morefriend, and (I saved the best for last) my MOTHER!! My neighbor's was seamless. She had fallen and broken her arm and leg. Once out of the hospital the nurse and home care professional were waiting at her house to take over 24 hour care, including her dog. My close friend's care was the physical therapy she required after breaking her leg. She is 71 years old. IRHC is for any age! And my mother's care? Well, all I can say is it was great and is still going on. My mother (92 years old) fell and broke her elbow. she required home assistance with all basic needs, and physical and occupational therapy. Indian River Home Care does it all. And it's done with professionalism, highest standard of care, and with family peace of mind.

The therapy department is the best and they have wonderful caring therapists who worked well with my 93 year old mother after her hip fracture! The nurses were attentive as well as the CNA's though maybe not as fast as my mother would have liked! Food was fine and they gave options if you didn't like what was being served for that meal. All in all our experience at Palm Gardens was good!
