People having loud domestic fights in the hall and the police having to be a regular presence. At the end it didn't seem like we were living in a high quality complex. We were just laying the price of one! And management didn't seem to care at all. Run.... don't sign anything....

The move-in and move-out process was very smooth. We HIGHLY recommend living here!

Not as many and extremely short. Rent does go up, but not too bad, still less than $2,000 for a 2br/2ba and 1300+ square feet. The extra monthly utility fee has never been higher than $50. Lots of space and my patio faces a big courtyard. The complex is a friendly environment. There are people of all age ranges. Another big plus is that the community it is located off the highway and shopping centers are with in walking distance. Maintenance staff is always available and efficient in resolving issues. Best of all is the wonderful management staff. They are professional, focused, friendly and attentive to the community and answer any questions or concerns. Very Happy to be living here.

Poor management mixed with declining quality, aging buildings, and increased rent costs have pushed us away. While rent used to be a value, for what they currently offer, there are much larger, nicer, and newer options available. Glen Hill's claims to be "smoke free" as we signed a non-smoking agreement in our lease but our experience has shown otherwise. About a year ago, new neighbors moved in. Almost immediately, the hallways in our building started reeking of cigarette smoke. We then started smelling smoke inside OUR apartment, especially in our bathroom. We raised concerns about the smell and that it seemed that the ventilation was too poor to isolate our unit. Management waved their hands and dismissed our concerns. We've repeatedly complained to management about this and outside of a passive aggressive email, nothing has been done to address the problem. This is not the only rule that management doesn't enforce. It's not uncommon for broken down or damaged vehicles to be abandoned in the parking lot. Per our lease: "A vehicle is unauthorized or illegally parked in the apartment community if it: (1) has a flat tire or other condition rendering it inoperable..." There is a car that was clearly in an accident with a flat tire that hasn't moved in two weeks sitting in the lot as I write this. There was also a car left in a space for almost three months in the middle of winter at the end of last year. Given our lot is nearly full every day, space is at a premium. We've also dealt with several packages being stolen from our building. There is only one large parcel box for both the buildings in our section (about 20 units) and the office is closed after 5, so packages get left outside frequently. Beyond that, the buildings are old and poorly insulated from warm and cold weather. During the winter months, I've seen electrical bills of $300+ and during the summer, the power hungry in-wall AC can barely keep the main room cool. It's nearly impossible to keep the humidity at bay in the summer and this has begun to effect the paint on our walls, with most of it cracking from the extreme dry cold of the winter mixed with the muggy humidity of the summer. Speaking of old, we requested to upgrade our locks (we even offered to provide the hardware, we just wanted permission) and were told that we couldn't do so, without so much as a discussion about the idea. Our new apartment offered that as an upgrade option. Lastly, the move-out process has been frustrating and confusing at best, with little proper explanation from management. Compared to the wonderful move-in experience we've had with Ogden, we are itching to complete our move.

They don't restrict on age and they have a huge grassy area for walking and playing with my pup. The apartment is decent; not very modern and it could do with more insulation. When asked to fix things in the apartment, they are quick to check it out and try to fix it right away. I like that it is in a secluded area and it generally pretty quite and you don't hear much traffic. They increase our rent every year but don't make any changes to the quality of our apartment buildings, I wish they would update our old appliances if they are increasing our rent.

Lakefront Brewery being right next door means the street gets pretty busy on the weekends, so make sure to have underground parking. I wish I could stay here forever.
