Next, I saw a sports medicine specialist who referred me to physical therapy. After weeks of treatment, I still had no relief. Out of options and frustrated, I started researching online and came across Active Release Therapy (ART). Dr. Akin was listed as a certified provider, so I figured I had nothing to lose. From my very first visit, Dr. Akin was attentive and thorough. He listened carefully, gave me a full assessment, and told me he believed he could resolve my issue in 6-8 visits.
