I almost walked out, but decided to give them a chance. I ordered a vanilla cupcake to try before I invested in a dozen. I asked them if the cupcakes were fresh and the girl said that they were from that week. Most bakeries make them fresh daily or every other day. I tried eating my cupcake there, but I couldn't stand the smell. I left with just the one cupcake.

I can tell that the owners are putting a lot of attention and care in their establishment. The staff looks like a determined team aimed to succeed. Well done! If I had to be picky, minor improvements can be for the tables to be periodically wiped down and cleaned. There were a few wet spots and a finished tray of food, but perhaps the staff was just a bit busy at that point. Overall, doesn't stop me from wiping my own table before sitting and enjoying my drink with the wifey!

I asked if I could get the pistachio dream with oatmilk and the server recommended against it saying it would make the drink too sweet. I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two! I'll definitely come back at an earlier time since a lot of the pastries were sold out.

Please save yourself the grief of dealing with Who Made The Cake. I've ordered three cakes from them in recent years, and each time has been an unpleasant experience. I found Nadine and her staff to be moody, dismissive, and unhelpful. It felt as though they were annoyed to have to interact with customers. I overlooked their lack of customer service skills and manners, and gave them several chances. Big mistake. When I picked up the last $500+ cake, I discovered that it was decorated with the wrong color icing. They agreed to change it to the right color. I was called to pick up the redone cake just before closing time that day. The office manager placed the cake box in my car without me ever having looked at it. When I got home and opened the box, I discovered the new icing decorations were falling off of the cake! I called Who Made The Cake and was told that there was no one there to fix it; everyone had gone home. I was told to dampen the back of the icing with a wet paper towel and stick it back on! Not only is that not what I wanted to be doing before my party, but it didn't work. The pink ribbon kept falling off. The following Monday I spoke with the office manager about what had happened and asked her to have Nadine call me. She never called. Since I had paid up front for the cake, and Nadine wasn't calling back, I had no recourse other than to just let it go. I'm embarrassed to say that I once again called Who Made The Cake this month. I needed an identical cake to the last one (but with the right colors and not falling apart!). I told the office manager (she's new) about my experience and she requested photos. I sent a four paragraph email explaining exactly what happened last time, along with multiple photos of the defective cake. I ended by saying that I hope they would consider giving me a discount due to my last experience. Out of convenience I would have ordered the new cake anyway without a discount. But, I wanted Nadine to acknowledge what had happened with my last cake. True to form, all I received was a curt reply saying that Nadine said she wouldn't offer a discount. That's it! No apology. No acceptance of responsibility. No remorse. No acknowledgment of my inconvenience. Nothing. Just no discounts! Actually, I should never have given them a second chance. Their bad attitudes showed me who they were the first time I walked in the store. I knew better than to do business with them. read more

Nadine Moon must think she hung her namesake because she walks around her shop with this heir of arrogance. She ruined my surprise engagement cake! The design that was agreed upon was pathetically done. We went to pick the cake up the day prior to the event and after we complained she did nothing. She became argumentative, rude and just downright unprofessional. We are all human, we all make mistakes. But it is up to that store, in this case, that store owner, Nadine Moon, to try to make things right. She could have tried to fix the problem, she could have taken a few minutes to try to understand that the color her workers put on the cake were inocrrect. She shouldn't have been dismissive. As a result, my fiance said he was going to share his experience with everyone he knew and it was at this point that she threatened the two of us by "informing" us that her husband was a police officer!!! I guess all I can say is this lady has a great reputation for making nice designs. But on YOUR special day, do you want someone that will work with you or someone that will tell you "TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT" knowing you have no alternative since your getting married in the next 24 hours!!! Ultimately, I had to have Who Made The Cake bake my wedding cake because I had tasted their cake before and found it to be, bar none, the best cake I ever had (and yes, I tried many other wedding cakes at vendor open houses and other events). The cake at my wedding was no exception, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I found Nadine to be a bit cool (rather than really interested in working with me on the kind of wedding cake I wanted) and some of the office staff to be less educated on their product/services than I would have liked, but it worked out. I thought it was silly that they won't use real flowers on their cakes and ended up using a real flower to cover up a smudge that was on the cake upon delivery to the venue (irony). We absolutely cannot say enough about Who Made the Cake! Our cake was phenominal and was the best wedding cake we've ever tasted! Not only that, and even though I might be a little bias because it was our wedding, the cakes were incredibly detailed and beautiful. The traditional wedding cake was so elegant, I could hardly speak when I saw it. The groom's cake was so much fun! We had a Lord of the Rings Lego-inspired cake, which was the talk of the reception! Nadine was awesome and was so kind during our meetings. They returned our calls within 24 hours each time and were just wonderful! We had an almond buttercream frosting, almond infused cake with raspberry filling, and the groom's cake was chocolate. Please, please go with Who Made the Cake! NADINE RUINED MY SPECIAL DAY I was promised a cake and received a cake. Problem was the cake looked like my next door neighbor's 10 year old made it. How hard is it to make a cake that looks like the state of Florida? Nadine then argued with me that it looked like it does on a map. Can someone tell this woman that CUBA is not part of Florida!!! I understand mistakes can be made, but when a company DOES make a mistake, I expect them to at least attempt to resolve the problem without becoming argumentative. She ruined was what supposed to be a beautiful day and if you entrust her to make YOUR wedding cake, you are rolling the dice unnecessarily. Super Ecstatic! Our company couldn't have been more pleased with the attentiveness from Nadine & the entire Who Made the Cake staff. The cakes produced for the our events where remarkable! Raven at the front desk was a such doll and Nadine was so helpful and patient when guiding us through which design concepts would work for the two evenings.
