I picked up a pancake bacon cupcake, coconut walnut cupcake, a cc cookies cupcake ($3 each) and a cowgirl (nuts with coconut) cookie $1.99. A dozen cupcakes is $30. OH MY GOSH! I absolutely love the S'mores cupcake. I wasn't sure which cupcake to get, when I asked which one to get, she recommended S'mores. I've had this business bookmarked for quite awhile, but hesitated to make the drive from the EaDo to Richmond. Mostly I was afraid that I'd drive all the way and receive some subpar cupcakes. Well, yesterday my boyfriend and I were downtown at the Gingerbread making contest and low and behold, I spotted the Cupcake With A Smile food truck. I immediately checked my Yelp to ensure it was the same business and quickly walked over. The lady was super sweet at the window and I ordered a Wedding Cake cupcake, an Oreo cupcake and an iced cookie. A chocolate cupcake had fallen in its package, which I assume was "unsellable," so she gave me that too. I waited until I got home before I gave them a try and Oh! My! Lord!!! These cupcakes can only be described as heavenly...no make that legendary! The icing was phenomenal, but amazingly the cupcake itself was soft and moist. Just tried these for the first time and I am in love!! The lemon cupcake was perfection. My husband had the smores cupcake and it had a graham cracker crust on the bottom, out of this world good!
