Our yard is probably one of the most challenging yards you could imagine, set on a steep slope with a septic mound taking up the majority of the backyard which makes it difficult to do much with the space. We had recently purchased a new construction property and the seller (Justin Smith, The Homescout, LLC) bailed on the outdoor work before it was completed leaving us with a poorly built, unpermitted retaining wall and considerable grading and drainage issues. Littleton Earthworks came to the rescue and helped us mitigate many of the issues with creativity and thoughtfulness that we didn't see from the any of the other companies we spoke with. Dan from Earthworks proposed some great solutions and seemed to enjoy thinking through how to solve the problems at hand. The end result was so much better than we could have imagined and the regrading gave us a significant addition of usable space in the backyard. And, when we had a tropical storm come through the day after work was completed Dan came back with his crew to reseed and install an erosion control blanket for a nominal price, really going above and beyond. Everyone on the Earthworks team was great to work with and super nice, we couldn't have been happier with the service and the results. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan and his wonderful team!

Sean, the owner, sent over Dan and his team to work on it. With an incredible eye for detail and his knowledge of plant material, Dan quickly went to work on relocating plants and choosing new ones to compliment the design. They made sure to plant things properly (not too low to be choked off by their own roots and not kept in their burlap or metal cages), which has happened in the past with other companies. Additionally, my front walkway was shifting and sinking (after only 5 years because another landscaper installed it using improper base material). Matt repaired it so it now lays completely flat and level. The property now looks like a completely different home! It has interest, color and a well-designed layout. I couldn't be happier! I eded up choosing RD and have been very happy with them. They came out to take a look around while I was at work and emailed me an estimate for the job, no scheduling or effort needed on my part, which was great. I called a little late in the season, but they were able to get me on the schedule with no problem. Their standard fall cleanup comes in two phases: once part-way through leaf season and again around Thanksgiving once the leaves have fallen. Their team did a great job both times (and my house has a *ton* of leaves, we are practically surrounded by oak trees). They removed all the leaves, raked up acorns, and left the yard looking great. I plan to work with them again for sure.
