This is one of the best chiropractic services I've received. Dr. Lee is very welcoming, informative and has great philosophy towards the body and health. This is a practice that approaches chiropractic adjustments from a comprehensive wholistic point of view. The appointments take a bit longer than I've experienced in the past (which I'm comfortable with and enjoy) this is due to Dr. Lee taking the time to access the muscles that contribute to the why a patient made the decision to get adjusted. I also like they don't subscribe to the 3x week adjustment plan - each case is treated individually. The front desk team is also very warm, welcoming and helpful. I am impossibly hard to impress yet I remain most impressed by Dr. Lee and his full-range, acute knowledge of chiropractic care. So much so that I made a 30-minute commute solely to see him and will happily do so again. I sustained my first sports-related injury in my lower back a couple days ago. The pain was so crippling, I was on the verge of an emotional breakdown. It was bad. The next few months are imperative that there's nothing that prohibits me from doing power-based weightlifting. So Dr. Lee listened to my extremely melodramatic story and offered comforting words. He was calm and composed the entire time, which is good as I am equally high-strung as I am exacting on an everyday basis. He quickly identified the problems and the source of the pain for my back, thoroughly answered my concerns, proceeded to adjust things as he saw fit, and then went extra lengths of using kinesio tape on my back to ensure the healing process. As he spoke to me about my back injury, I instinctively trusted him on everything. It was a little terrifying. Dr. Lee can be counted on to be 100% professional as much as I am counted on to be 100% inappropriate. Dr. Lee was so professional, I even refrained from asking him when he pulled out this gigantic vibrator massage machine to loosen the tight muscles in my back if he ever tried to use that thing to hang out the passenger's side of his best friend's car tryn' to holla at girlz. Much curious. All thanks to him, I'm better now, emotionally and physically. If you want to see an outstanding chiropractor sans the ego trip, Dr. Lee is one of the best, bar none. read more

This evaluation is rating only the chiropractic services offered by Drs. John Tong and Kent Lee and of my massage therapy visits with Steve (Refer to the website for services offered: http://www.wholehealthseattle.com/). Also, note that this is in comparison to my chiropractic experiences to Lifeplus Health Centers in Lynnwood and Ballinger Village Chiropractic in Shoreline. Please note, that the visits are based off of over six months of treatment. Customer service and ease of appointment: Customer service over the phone, email and in person is very courteous, friendly and organized. Billing based on my insurance notifications is exceptionally timely, many times the day of service. Booking an appointment in any of the above mentioned methods is very easy and has never been a hassle. The administrative tasks of faxing prescriptions for massage therapy or other forms has always been timely to external institutions. Facility: Parking is generous and free. Waiting area is clean and organized. I do not believe there is free WiFi. It is worth mentioning that if you are in a wheelchair or physically unable to climb two flights of stairs, contact the office to see if accommodations can be made. Massage Therapy: My massage therapy (MT) treatments specifically as Steve as my massage therapist have been very good when comparing him to every Massage Envy experience I've ever had (I didn't know better) and Massage Center of Bellevue. I feel the "lag" time meaning conversation/intake you have with the massage therapist to the physical portion of the treatment is about five minutes. I mention this because many other massage therapy places, you can feel like you got short changed by a larger 15 minute margin. Overall, Steve is a good listener, very competent, mature and professional. In addition, whether you also prefer somebody more chatty or less chatty, Steve is very adaptable and I very much respectably regard him. Chiropractors: I don't believe it's necessary to evaluate both Drs. Lee and Tong individually as my experience with them as a patient have been superior. Both providers are exceptionally composed on busy days and each chiropractic session was never short-changed. The other nice part is each patient has their own exam room so you're not exposed to everybody else...or their odors while waiting. Why WHC stands out compared to the other two chiropractic clinics: 1. I appreciate not having what feels the exact same treatment if different areas of my back or leg feel sort of out (of alignment). The adjustments do in fact address the issues that I present at the day of visit. 2. Both Drs. Tong and Lee, with regards to my chiropractic needs did not make it feel or pressure me into having to see them several times a week for almost a dozen weeks. 3. Overall, the experience as a patient has been superior. In addition, I live in Renton and do make the trek to Shoreline which should tell you how much I value the service. If you had a bad chiropractic experience or think your chiropractor you currently see is trying to thin out your wallet and not give you the relief you need, I'd very much suggest Whole Health Chiropractic. And if you actually desire very good massage therapy services and customer service, WHC is another feather in the cap. read more

Dr. Tong and his support staff are nothing short of marvelous. I suffer from congenital kyphosis, and so I have sought treatment from many chiropractors and massage therapists over the past 20+ years. Dr. Tong is, by far, the most knowledgeable, personable, inquisitive, informative, and intuitive chiropractor I have ever met. He focuses on treatments that make empirical sense, and treats each body he encounters differently, according to their size, age, and condition. In the past few months, Dr. Tong has been treating my daughter, who was recently diagnosed with moderate-to-severe scoliosis. At no point in his proposed treatment did he ever propose to "fix" or "cure" her condition single-handedly; he wisely suggested that she undergo soft tissue manipulation for a few weeks prior to beginning structural manipulation. He has never asked us to see him more often than we feel are mutually reasonable intervals. Moreover, in contemplating the sort of brace that my daughter might wear to help stabilize her curve, he described the very sort of brace, sight unseen, that she ended up wearing. I would like to close by praising Dr. Tong's choice of massage practitioners. He always hires the best! Over the past several years, I have been treated by Megan Akers, possibly the most caring, skilled, and, again, intuitive massage therapists I have met. read more

Con Artists! After my car accident, they somehow got a hold of my cell phone number, called me and gave me fraudulent information and continued to work on me. In the meantime, Whole Health Chiropractic was stacking up a hefty bill. The receptionist would continue to tell me that everything is taking care of through my insurance. At the end of all of it, THEY SLAPPED ME WITH A $4,000.00 BILL! I have inquired the Better Business Bureau. Nobody, should have to go through this. read more

This review is for the massage therapist Steve Zamora at Whole Health Chiropractic. I started going to Whole Health Chiropractic because they accept Moda Insurance. I had my first massage from Francina because she's listed on the Moda website, and Francina is great. When I booked my next massage, I asked the receptionists for a recommendation because they see the clients' postures before and after appointments, and the receptionists likely have gotten massages from all of the LMPs themselves. The receptionists highly recommended Steve Zamora and they're completely right. I've been seeing Steve for therapeutic massages every other week for several months now; we always start the appointment with a list of areas to focus on, then he works out the knots. He does quite a lot of stretching in his routine, he's very intuitive and I always feel like I'm in very good caring hands. I leave every time feeling refreshed and strong, the muscles are stretched and kneaded to get them pliable without discomfort. Steve a super nice guy and an excellent massage therapist. The receptionists are so friendly and wonderful at their jobs. Everyone at Whole Health Chiropractic is professional, relaxed, and friendly. read more

I saw Dr. Kent Lee today and was so impressed. I will never go anywhere else at this point because he is by far the best chiropractor I have ever been to. He was professional, knowledgeable, personable and cute (which was a nice plus). He had a great bedside manner and made the visit informative and comfortable. He helped me understand what was going on I didn't get the typical salesman type vibe from him that I have gotten from every other chiropractor I have been to. There was no high pressure "treatment plan'' spiel, he simply just focused on trying to bring relief. I called the office without having been a patient before in severe pain and they were able to get me in within a couple hours from my call. I was thinking my weekend was shot as I was expecting nobody to fit me in so last minute. I'm thrilled because I have gotten relief and I found a better chiropractor than I had been using initially. Yelp wrote the title for this but I'm leaving it because it is so true! This review is for Dr. Kent Lee and Admin staff. Both are exceptional!! I have been going to see Dr. Lee for several months now but only need to go in about 1X per month due to his great adjustments. I was seeing another Chiropractor for a year that had to see me every week because the adjustments weren't stabilizing. Dr. Lee fixed that in about 1 month. He even found things I wasn't aware was related to bone misalignment, I thought it was just tension. I feel so good after I leave his office I tell everyone that talks about needing chiropractic services to go see the Drs at Whole Health Chiropractic! The staff is also wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. They always have great attitudes and will find a way to 'make it work' as far as payments, insurance, HSA accounts etc. The only thing I wish they would do is call or text reminders of appointments, but I'm not taking away any stars because this office is wonderful! read more

Dr. Tong was not available but saw Dr. K. Lee, and I have to say I was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Dr Lee. I was evaluated and treated and felt immediately better! Dr. Tong is an amazing chiropractor - and a super-nice guy too! His team always make you feel welcome (even if you occasionally have to bring your kids)!. They consider the whole patient - and have (on several occasions) accommodated my crazy schedule as best they could. I tweaked my neck just after having my 2nd child and actually visited a different chiropractor in the area before I found Dr. Tong. The other chiropractor had a terrible 'bedside manner' and did very little to help. Dr. Tong and his team of massage therapists (and later, also Dr. Lee!) have been completely instrumental in my recovery. I still visit them from time to time to keep things on track but they did an excellent job of getting me 'fixed' - and didn't try to keep me coming in frequently when I didn't need it. THAT is an excellent health care provider. I couldn't recommend Dr. Tong, Dr. Lee, or any of the massage therapists with any greater enthusiasm! read more

I'd been going to a PT for 6 months for my lower back (I have degenerative disc disease) and she recommended me to try Dr Tong because PT and exercises alone wasn't helping and she'd heard great things about Dr Tong. I went to Dr Tong twice a week for a month and by the end my pain had nearly all but gone. I now go once a month for a check up and to get a massage (Francina De Grazia, LMT is AMAZING too!) and I've been pain free for years. This after nine months of acute pain where it even hurt to walk at times. Now I feel fabulous. So glad that I got referred to Dr Tong! On top of that the staff are all welcoming and friendly.
