I've struggled with chronic back pain for 18 years. 7 years ago, I developed more widespread chronic pain. I've been participating in an intensive program with Dr. Norton to correct my spinal curves for 13 weeks, and I've felt such a wonderful improvement in my quality of life. My overall pain is lower, and some days I have no back pain at all! This place has truly helped me in a way I wasn't sure I could be helped. I'm also thankful for all the help from Dr. Mcinnis, who is a valuable part of this practice. I was looking for a new chiropractor after mine had retired and decided to come here based on the great reviews. My first appointment they took x-rays and did an exam, all as expected. The next day I met with the doctor to go over the results and because of my incorrect neck posture they wanted me to do a 9 week treatment plan coming in 4 times a week. I explained that I could not come in that often (because of money and time) and I asked about my shoulder (the main reason I had come in) and was told that is not what they do. I asked if I could come in less frequently and still get help and they said no. I was told they would not treat me unless I signed up for this treatment plan. I was given my x-rays and left extremely disappointed and still experiencing shoulder pain. I have no doubt that if you sign up for their 4x a week plan they likely can help you but for that to be the only option is ridiculous. I have gone to many other chiropractors and have never had one refuse to help and require me to go in 4x a week. On the brightside their office staff are very nice. read more

I signed up for the CBP chiropractic care program to correct overall posture (neck, lower & upper back), which involved adjustments and tension work. In the short 9 weeks, I did not once complain about lower pain ache that had bugged me for years working at a desk job. I was also training for a marathon at same time during this care program and my breathing got noticeably better as upper back's natural curve was restored, it allowed lunges to expand more. In chronological order after a significant motor vehicle accident - initially calling was easy, stress free and they got me set up immediately with a evaluation appointment to determine the care plan. I came in unable to twist at the waist without pain in my back, and after just a few weeks my pains were significantly diminishing. Executing this plan was amazing from working with Dr. Andrew Murry multiple times/week, to working with their members at the front desk with my overly complicated and unpredictable work schedule. A special thank you to Josh and Jovanne who I spoke with most often when re-scheduling and they were always incredibly nice and understanding. I've been going to Health Chiropractic for over 5 years. I started when I was pregnant and having terrible back and hip pain. Dr. Norton is experienced with prenatal chiropractic care, and I believe he saved me from having an awful third trimester. I continued going after giving birth, as my back and neck were constantly out of place due to picking up and holding my baby. Now that my daughter is older, I don't have as many issues,but I continue to get adjusted once a month for maintenance. If I miss a month, I can tell because I start to get headaches. I was treated by Dr. Norton for lower back pain on my right side. He did a very complete analysis of my back including my neck. The ex-ray and posture pics revealed one leg was a little shorted than the other. He treated me for 6 weeks with exercise, chiro treatment and gradual heel lifts for my left shoe. This treatment aligned my hips which in turn alleviated the pain in lower back considerably. Their office is very well organized, kind, friendly and efficient. I've known I've had scoliosis for 15 years, but was told by my doctor (at 12 years old) that nothing could be done unless I wanted surgery, so I've never pursued any treatment. Went in twice in pain. He wanted do an X-ray. They said they take my insurance . I came in the first time, expecting insurance coverage. I am charged $180 for x-rays that I'm pretty sure I don't need. But I'm in pain,so I pay. I'm told my insurance won't cover it. I schedule a 2nd visit, I'm in pain. Still no adjustment! The 2nd visit, he shows me my x-rays and starts selling me on a 9 week course of adjustments that will cost me $2,000. I'm still in pain. I can't go back here. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Why can't I get an adjustment and see how it goes? Why would he know that 9 weeks will fix it? Ugh. read more

Don't expect an adjustment with your first visit and you will still pay an insurance copayment. First visit will be to take xrays. Second visit will be to discuss your xrays and a care program which sounds like a 9 week, multiple times a week plan for me. I see other reviewers who received a similar program. Without any limitation of cost I'm sure most people wouldn't mind this type of work up, but alas, that's a lot of money. So decide if you can go all in if you choose chiro care from this clinic. read more

The massage wasn't bad. But the uninvited 15 minute lecture afterward (from the massage therapist, not the doctor) completely ruined the experience. Don't make assumptions about what your clients eat or drink or how they exercise. If it's important to the treatment, ASK. Just digging in and lecturing isn't going to win you any fans. And seriously, after I cut you off from the totally random "why fish isn't the best protein source" lecture by telling you I'm vegan, telling me that veganism is a religion and an eating disorder, and going on to tell me how I can heal my body and regrow the enzymes to start digesting animal products again...? Both bad science and terrible people skills right there. And all while I was still undressed and under the sheet trying to relax at the end of my massage. You better believe I won't be coming back. And that I will tell anyone who asks about my awful experience in your office. On top of all that, the front desk was pretty slow to catch on. How many times do I have to say that I have a gift certificate before you stop asking where I heard of you or whether I would like you to bill my insurance? read more

I started going to Dr. Norton after I had lower back pain start after a hard fought game of flag football with friends (not as young as I once was). Dr. Norton started me with a xray and testing to diagnose my back pain and the next day had a plan to fix me right up. I started with 3 adjustments a week for the first 3 weeks but my pain subsided quickly within the first week. I also started having monthly massages from one of the in house professionals they are super relaxing. Dr. Norton and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and work hard to make your visit a easy and painless one. Dr, Norton has been a fabulous health care provider from the first time I walked in the office. I had pulled a muscle that caused pain radiating down my arm. Logic would tell you that there was a problem with my arm but it, as so often is the case, was a problem with my back. After 4 or 5 adjustments, I went from pain that I rated as a 10 to just minor discomfort and then totally healed. He has continued to welcome me and my back issues with quick and competent care.
