The staff here are wonderful! I went for a girls night where we ordered a bunch of appetizers which were all very good and tasted 6 wines. The owners stopped by and gave us tips and taught us about different wines. We had a great night here and can't wait to go back. There is indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Truly the nicest group of people here. The owner and all of the individuals working here take pride in their beverages. They have a wide knowledge of brewing, grapes, and go out of their way to make sure each customer feels taken care of. This is the place for top notch customer service. It is an adorable barn feel with an inside sitting area, an outdoor space, and a loft where you can listen to music or see some comedy. They have a very extensive variety of wines and a nice beer list that goes from light, to fruity, to IPA, to dark. I loved the ability to be able to have small portions of beer and wine so I could sample a lot without feeling sick from drinking too much. They offer they drinks in a two ounce size, then two larger glass sizes. The prices of the drinks are pretty good as well. They have a small menu of food. We tried the pizza and it is not bad for a tasting room, but not too over the top. The price on the pizza was not bad, especially with prices these days. They also have a mixed drink menu that was quite extensive. The prices on those drinks were fairly good as well. They told us their espresso martini was the best in the area. I would tend to agree, probably the best in the area, but for me, not the best overall. To be honest we have been doing an espresso martini tasting tour around the US and there is a lot of competition, but it is definitely something to try here. I would try a rum drink personally next time, since their tropical drinks sounded delicious. The beer game in Michigan is also pretty stiff competition. We do live in a state where we have one of the top cities for beer world wide. But since they do offer about eight flavors, there is something for everybody here. First time visiting this winery. We were looking for food and wine and they delivered!!! They have a very long list of wines to choose from- everything from white to red, dry to sweet. They source the grapes and make it onsite. You can do a tasting (2oz each) with up to 8 choices (or fewer if you prefer). We really enjoyed the wine. They have some surprises- things I have never seen in my 30 years of visiting wineries! They had Moscow Mule and Strawberry Margarita wines that taste just like the original. They also had glitter wines which would be great for a girls night! The whiskey barrel Cab Sauv was VERY good! The server was very attentive, incredibly helpful in making our selections, and knowledgeable about the wines. We sat on the covered patio and it was fabulous! They had live music from 7-9. We had the charcuterie board (actually 2 because it was so good). My pet peeve is when you run out of crackers before meat and cheese but they had plenty!! What a cool little place. Wines were outstanding. Owners took us through the history of the buildings and winery. Very nice people. Not a wine head but this place may change that. Had the best time with our friends and the owners & their staff were super at explaining how to savor each of our choices on the wine flight. Dan & Brenda (owners) were so amazing answering all of our questions about wine tasting & what we should experience with each sip. We did find out that these 2 are very active in doing good for their community & volunteer when possible. Whole Hearted Winery also features a comedy club & local entertainers plus I want to attend the charcuterie class in the near future. If you enjoy wine, please give this local place a try. You ever have such a good experience somewhere that it makes you want to leave your career path and just do exactly what they are doing? That was us yesterday at Whole Hearted Winery. Luckily we were there on a Wednesday afternoon when they weren't too busy, so we could talk to the owners off and on for nearly 2.5 HOURS. We learned so much about their interesting come up, their unique adaptions to stay open through the pandemic, and all of the exciting things on the horizon for their amazing business. The husband and I went to the same elementary, middle and high school...woah. The connection was there immediately. This dude KNOWS his wine. He taught us more than we learned in the 4 weeks we've spent in Europe. He is so passionate about the wine that he makes. He has truly found his niche in life. He made it like a fun lesson in school that intrigues you and keeps you asking questions. My math-science savvy wife and him geeked out for hours. We left with a box of 4 different bottles lol. The food is phenomenal too! Everything we tried was the highest quality. 10/10 experience. Will sing their praises and be back as much as possible. Highlight of spring beak 2023 no doubt! read more

Went to Whole Hearted for a Galentine's Day event I throw every year. We had some people add on and cancel last minute, but the owners were very gracious. Once we were there, they took really good care of us and we even had our own mini wine lessons talking about acidity and tannins and how they affect other wines. It was a wonderful galentine's day and we can't wait to go back! I highly recommend the igloos as they add a fun, secluded area for us ladies to laugh and have fun! read more

Husband and I visited Whole Hearted Winery on a whim. Upon entering the inside we were pleasantly surprised. Very cute (upstairs as well). The outdoor set up is even better. The wine was very tasty as well as the chartreuse board. The owners Brenda and Dan were very knowledgeable and kind enough to take time out of their busy day to walk us through proper tasting. Owner, Dan, let us know that they have comedy shows indoor and outdoor (weather permitting). Also have live music and karaoke (not sure which days). I would give 0 stars if possible. The wine is terrible if you are truly into wine. If you want fruit juice that gives one heck of a hangover I would recommend. They do not make wine in barrels but metal vats similar to beer. read more

This place is great! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable which is great since not a huge wine person. The wine here is very very flavorful where you can tartare the fruit and if your a normal sweet wine drinker you can get a "dryer" wine here and it's still sweet. My daughter and I visited Whole Hearted Winery for my birthday February 13th. This was the 3rd place on our afternoon trip and we were more than delighted. We enjoyed a flight of wine inside our own igloo that was very warm which was nice considering the freezing temperatures outside that day. I had been in one other igloo before in December and it was about 50 degrees but this one was a warm 68 or so. The wines we tried were fabulous - great selection. We ended up coming home with a few bottles and are planning on returning in the near future to enjoy the events they have lined up which includes comedians and bands.
