We used Whole Home Inspections twice during our recent home search. As first time home buyers and new parents we were so pleased to have someone who was extremely thorough and had our family's safety in mind. On the first home we found he identified some shady electrical work that had been done on the house. Among other problems identified we decided to walk away from that one and continue our house hunt. We finally found another home and chose to have David come do an inspection even though the sellers had already done one. He found some things that weren't on the sellers inspection report and we used that to ensure repairs are made before moving in. He explains everything super well and shows you around the house where the findings are, then goes through photos and videos with you for things that aren't visible like roof and AC. I appreciate how he calls things out that could be a hazard to our son. You can tell he really cares about making sure a home is safe. Afterwards he sends a report along with the photos which is very detailed and so helpful. Do not hesitate to use him for your inspection... the knowledge and peace of mind that we got from the inspection was beyond valuable. read more

David, from Whole Home Inspections, was extremely helpful and efficient during the recent purchase of my new home. The home I purchased was in Arizona and I live in Washington. It was a newly built model home in a development that was just being completed. I hired David by trusting Yelp reviews and having a telephone conversation with David. David was very communicative throughout the process and not only inspected the home, but performed my walk through prior to closing. He provided an east to read and detailed inspection report that included pictures. David sent a list (and pictures) of issues associated with this newly built home that were fixed prior to closing. I definitely learned to hire an inspector even for a brand new home. Some of the issues that David discovered were serious and other items could be easily missed by someone who did not pay attention to detail. After closing, we flew to Arizona and took control of the house. I made sure everything David discovered was taken care of and was able to look things over myself. David was super friendly and he spent a lot of time inspecting the property. He answered our questions, and let us be present during the inspection. He's probably better than a lot of what's out there. However, when we took possession the roof leaked, the fridge didn't work, and the toilet leaked. All these things appeared "good" during the inspection so the repair expense was unexpected. It's exactly what we'd hoped to avoid by having an inspection. read more
