This is literally against planet fitness rules and left unaddressed by multiple staff members who just walk by without saying anything. You can even see one person on yelp leaving a review complaining about how they couldn't leave their god dam bag on the floor when everyone else was. You're risking god dam injuring everyone there and you're cluttering up the gym space. This is such poor gym culture. You also look like a complete douchebag bringing a bag to the gym floor, but yea keep camping their on the smith machine for 4 hours on your cellphone may as well pack a tent in that bag- you douchebags! #2 None of the men at this gym wash their hands when they use the restroom. This includes multiple of your male employees. One of the most disgusting gym cultures in Midldetown Kentucky that I've consistently seen over the past year (I've been to gyms everywhere from NYC to California to even multiple planet fitness here in Kentucky, and the people here in Middletown are just gross - wash your god dam hands you idiots). I have several injuries (knee, shoulder, wrist) as well as diastasis recti that I have to be careful not to worsen and the trainers are all about injury prevention and stress good form. They also emphasize core which also helps with injury prevention. The trainers make novices like me feel comfortable and they teach and correct form as often as is needed. There are all levels of fitness in the community and all the other members have all been super encouraging.
