In no uncertain terms, the 5 sessions I spent w/Christian at Whole Health Hypnosis are the most impactful therapy I've ever encountered. As a salesman, my job is to communicate certainty, confidence, and clarity to a client such that they can make the right decision to resolve their problems. I went to Whole Health Hypnosis in July of 2019, without really knowing what to expect. I have always had some anger issues, but my anger took a turn for the worse in 2017, and it was causing me to want to hide from the world, just so my anger wouldn't be triggered! Being angry all the time is absolutely exhausting, and it was affecting my relationship with my daughter, not only because I was constantly snapping at her, but because I'd stopped telling her I loved her, and stopped giving her affection. I instantly felt at ease with Christian, the hypnotherapist, and after hearing the short version of my story, he assured me that he could definitely help me. He was right! He walked me through how hypnosis works, and answered all of my questions. Even the ones I had after our first and second sessions. He was completely professional, kind-hearted, and personable. He never judged me or criticized me, and was always so compassionate, especially when I was feeling like a terrible mother and person for not having been able to "get over" my anger. His office space is actually pretty large, as he holds classes in part of it, but he has created an cozy little area for both the pre-session chats, and the sessions. You get to recline in a very comfortable chair, and he offers a blanket as well. He is also an excellent communicator, following up when he says he will. Doing hypnosis sessions with Christian was incredible - I was trying to move on from cigarettes and ended up getting that and so much more! Each session explored a different aspect of my past that was holding me back from so many things in my current life. I was in a funk for quite some time before I went to see Christian. I was feeling empty & withdrawn, lacking motivation to do simple day to day tasks. I didn't enjoy doing things I normally liked to do, I wasn't being very social with my friends, I wasn't seeing my family as often as I felt I should, I wasn't committed to my diet & exercise plans, I was coasting by at work, I was wasting way too much time on social media, & I wasn't giving my marriage the attention it deserved. I wanted to change all of this, but I felt helpless to do so on my own. After one of my friends saw Christian & had amazing results, I decided to give hypnosis a try. After meeting Christian for a consultation, I committed to 5 hypnotherapy sessions with him. Christian is kind, attentive, nonjudgmental, understanding, & was confident he could help me. After our first hypnotherapy session I started noticing results. I went home & immediately threw away some junk food I never would have wasted before & I joined a new gym. Each session was different than the last & I always left hypnosis feeling refreshed & wanting to do the things I was previously putting off or procrastinating on. Over the course of 4 weeks with Christian, I felt a positive shift in my mindset...I didn't want to miss my workouts, I didn't want to eat things that weren't good for me, I wanted to spend time with my friends & family, I deleted social media apps from my phone, I was more productive in my work, & I craved & created quality time with my husband. I was a little skeptical of trying this but decided to come here for specific personal reasons. I was going to call around a few places around where I'm located in West Seattle. I talked to Christian first and he came off very well so agreed to setup a consultation. After our consultation I agreed to see him for five sessions. Christian made me feel extremely comfortable and I had no problem telling him my problems. Do i think he magically cured me in his five sessions? No but he gave me great tools and made other parts of my mind aware of my issues. I am a fairly younger guy so I don't have as much expendable income but I am going to try and continue to see him once or twice a year. He is extremely helpful and I feel he was way more helpful than the psychiatrist I tried (or I feel this is more of what I was looking for). What honestly trips me out more than anything is I can almost never fall asleep easily, I cant even fall asleep in a recliner at my house. Every session I was so relaxed that even in his chair with somewhat of a stranger in the room It was hard to stay awake. He's got a great voice and I trust him.
