The very last box was another brand and another color! Oh no! The contractor didn't find it until working in the last room. The boxes were very long and very heavy, so not easy to go through and check. But after all, the store pulled the order. That item is now discontinued, so I was very worried about how we could finish this room. They located 5 boxes of it at another store about an hour away, but this was way too big for my car. Craig, one of the salespeople, called me and told me he would deliver it TO MY HOUSE within 2 hours!!!! My contractor is installing it now. Thank you so much Craig, Sarah and FLOOR & DECOR! I thought that was impressive because it's so hard to find good customer service now adays. When we finally decided we wanted help, we were lucky enough to get Sandon. He was the nicest guy! As he talked, we found out that he was a retired contractor and has been in the business for quite a few years. He helped match up some flooring and counter tops for us with the prices from our measurements. He also gave us valuable advice about different materials to use. We weren't ready to buy just yet, but I would definitely go back to Floor and Decor when we are. They also have free designers that can help you. You need to make an appointment for this. You can also buy a tile or two if you want to take it home to see it in your space and return it for a full refund. The store looks small from the outside but appears to go on forever on the inside--very clean and well-organized, and with plenty of space to stand back to admire the tiles and counters strategically placed to lay out selections. The prices were in the range of what we were expecting from other estimates for quality work. The Hudson Hardwood team (special thanks to Marcos) were both flexible and prompt and in staging the work in two steps: refinishing the existing floors and installing the new herringbone. He came out looked at our bathroom, then proceeded to explain all the options he considered best, for what we wanted done. He provided a photo portfolio of before and after jobs the company had done. Explaining how they did each job, what worked well for each individual job. Two days later he sent us an estimate, which was about $400 less than another company we contacted previously. We accepted the estimate and scheduled the job. Stan told us the name of the person who would be coming out, and that the job would take two days. We then began prepping the bathroom by removing everything, as we would be replacing the toilet, the vanity and sink, as well as opening up the wall where the original medicine cabinet we purchased would be going. We kept in touch with Stan throughout this process. Little changes were made and Stan had no issues with them, nor did the estimate change. We chose Kohler White for the tub and tiled. Stan recommended we replace the two corner shelves in the bathtub, which they did so with slightly larger ones. Jarrod came out promptly on the time stated. He began prepping the room, for the least amount of dust or debris that might occur. Jarrod did an excellent job on reglazing the bathtub and tiles. It is an immaculate finish. Turning an older tub into looking brand new. Turning older tiles into a beautiful white color. We had very little, if at all, clean up to do when he was finished on day two. We consider the value to be excellent for the job. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to get your tub reglazed or your tiles.
