I love this store! Me and my family come here for our crack seed, candy restock for our home. And we cannot leave without an icee. Vanilla floats or strawberry lihing depending on our mood. The staff are always super friendly when we come, store is always neat and clean. They have sale bins and other local snacks. Parking is good right in front and it's never really full. This is the 'go to' place to get your favorite island flavor snacks. One of my new discoveries is the Banzai mix which is a flavor bomb version of Iso peanuts. This item flew off the shelves in record time. I just discovered they replaced it with a different version calling it the New banzai mix. Chocolate Chip Mac Nut & Arare Shortbread cookies are my usual purchases but there is also an assortment of arare and senbei, fried nori and shrimp chips, li hing mui/crack seed varieties and cuttlefish, dried fruit, packets to make dip (made in Hawaii), seasonings, and more. I take my time looking at the labels to stay away from red/yellow food coloring and check for expiration dates. Nice bins on the side of the aisle containing bags of snack remnants at reduced prices so one can be creative in its use (for salads, sushi bakes, desserts, etc.). Gift cards also available. You're better off making a special stop at the Waipahu location of Wholesale Unlimited for the widest variety of snacks - savory and sa-weet! For those familiar with the express locations, you'll be pleased to find a few other options, including the tempura nori and plain chocolate almonds. All the staples are at the express location. This one just has a few others that might offer a different variety if you make monthly trips after the occasional salon recharge session in town. Check out the dry erase board for the latest and greatest. I'm not sure if it's illegal to be this yummy, but if nobody's calling the HPD on this delicious hideout, then I'm coming back. Customer service was great. Make sure to come early as some snacks run out fast. Certain ones do have a limit of 5 which is understandable seeing as people do buy in bulk. This place is one of the best place to get my snacks when you're missing the snacks that are from Japan. I absolutely love these almond crunch and they are individually wrapped and it's a good thing because you might end up eating the entire bag. Wholesale Unlimited did an amazing and beautiful job on a thank you gift basket, size extra large. My loving and sweet father passed away peacefully on President's Day 2025. This basket was to thank his hard working, caring nursing, social work and administrative staff at the State of Hawaii's Maluhia Adult Day Health Center where he'd be a few days a week. They took such great care of Dad while my husband and I could continue working. When my brother and I delivered the huge basket of goodies ourselves, we were blessed with different staff stories of Dad and how he would enjoy their activities. I'm glad we could at least bless everyone with the cookies, arare crackers & candies in their big gift basket.
