They moved from kalihi a while back but I thinknit is easier in some ways always free parking and friendly staff. They don't get a 5 because when I got back to my studio I discovered the guy had cut my aluminum sheet off by .25inches and I couldn't use it. So I wasted about $80 and used another gatorboard instead as a temporary fix. I didn't have time to go back and complain but next time if I pay for a cut, I will ensill measure it before I load it up and drive away. read more

I have a Cricut Air2 (cutting) machine. And this is my go to for great quality HTV (heat transfer vinyl) and i rent their industrial Heat Press $20/hour it's hellaaaa good wish i had one lol but machine itself runs at about $5k still worth it! They have all sorts of color HTV even Gold and Silver! Ladies there are really nice and knowledgeable. They have other services like Screen printing, sign making and more but i only go there for HTV and their awesome Heat Press to make my shirts. I've been meaning to take up their screen printing class they offer but i just have not made time 100% recommend! read more

I can't tell you how much I love that you are on the west side now. I work in marketing and anything signage supply related is usually a trip all the way downtown--a hassle when I live in Waianae and work in Kapolei/Pearl City. A+ for the location for me. As for supplies and assortment, you really can't get better than oneshot on this side of the island. usually places out here are smaller and don't carry as much variety as a shop you might find out in the industrial areas of downtown honolulu but Oneshot seems to have it all and can cut it all (by that I mean sign boards). Coroplast for example, is the bee's knees of affordable sturdy signage backing for me but it either comes very small (24x36" at walmart) or very large if you're just getting it from a factory (8ft x 5ft ish) and if you're a DIY'er it's just hard to work with. Oneshot can cut it down to your specifications and they did just that for me within an hour of my online order! This was before the pandemic so I don't know how orders are now, but all the workers were nice and on-it over there and I hope to get some work soon so I have an excuse to come back and look at all the other goodies like art supplies! read more

This business is so poorly run. I called to simply ask how much a conveyor dryer was on their website... the lady seems to have been born yesterday as she had no idea what the price is or what item I was talking about. Literally it was the only conveyor dryer on the website. After walking her through her own website to find the only product I was talking about, she said I need to give a big list of my info so they can get back to me in a few days just so they can tell me the price. Also she said they don't even have it on island. They'd have to ship it from the mainland. So why the hell would I go through you if I have to ship it from the mainland. In that case, there's thousands of better options I can go through if I needed something shipped. Don't put something on your website if I have to pay you to ship it to me. Disgustingly bad website and service. Y'all need to learn your numbers. Will not be going through you in the future of my screen printing needs. read more

This business is a bit hidden up the ramp near what looks like a very tiny car dealership. You're only able to see the sign of this location if you're coming from nimitz, but if you're coming from the opposite direction near king street side it's easy to miss. They have an area with limited parking spaces, if not you can also park on the street. Once you walk up the ramp and follow their large sign you'll see a huge warehouse of supplies for graphic arts, sign making, all sorts and types of vinyl, a painter's heaven, and more! I specifically came here for an adhesive vinyl roll but the one color I was looking for they were out of stock. Even though they were out of stock, the one lady that greeted us and helped me was very nice! Their customer service is a 11/10 rating based on my experience there. I wish I remembered her name but she was very nice, patient, and even tried suggesting items without feeling pushy. Although I didn't leave with what I wanted on this trip, I'll definitely will be back if I need more adhesive vinyl or transfer tape! read more

Talk about friendly local service, These guys made me feel like family. Not too many choices in Hawaii for certain art supplies, so it would be easy for them to be rude and still survive... But they are real people and displayed friendly and helpful service. I have no problem going back for art supplies. One major bad point is that they dont list the product prices anywhere. You need to ask a sales person for every item. That is unlike every other retail shop i have ever been to in my life, and is not as openly transparent as i prefer. I stopped into One Shot to see what supplies they sell and was happy to find out that they offer screen printing classes as well as sell supplies. The shop is located at the top of a ramp in what looks like a loading dock and there is parking at the bottom of the ramp in a share parking lot with a small car dealership. Domi was the one helping me and he is also the one who teaches the classes which are held the last 2 Saturday's of each month. Only 6 participants are allowed for the class which is first come first serve sign up. He gave me a tour of the facilities where the classes are held which are also available for rent to create designs. Domi was friendly, informative and it was clear that he was passionate about screen printing and helping others. I signed up for the class which is 9 am-2 pm and I am happy to share that it was worth each penny of the $150 class cost. Domi is warm and helpful and promises to help guide with instruction even when the class is complete to make sure each student gets the process right. Thanks Domi! According to her, One Shot is the BEST, if not only, place to buy silkscreening and airbrush supplies. The place is nearly impossible to find: it's in the middle of the block on Waiakamilo (in Kalihi). You park, then walk up a truck ramp (no joke), then walk into the back of what looks like a warehouse but in actuality is an art store! Weird. The staff is a hit or miss on being knowledgeable in the products. My wife (kuuipod), has a LipSense business and she had purchased some stickers from Etsy. When we got the stickers, there was no transfer or application paper to install it on her car. Most places on the web sold it by the roll (6" wide by 10' or so). I was in the area and I figured I would stop by and see if they sell it. I was greeted when I got in the door. The place is huge and it is pretty organized. I found an art easel so my wife can display her business poster and my daughter found an art manakin (sorry, that is how it is spelled on the package). The easel was just $5 more than what I found on Amazon. I couldn't find any application paper (they just have too many vinyl rolls to go through). When I asked they told me that they only sell it by the roll. Just so happens, the person told me they have a sample roll and gave me some of that (Thanks again!). There are 2 things about this place. The first thing is that there are no prices on anything! Luckily everything we wanted to purchase was reasonably priced. The second is that the parking is terrible. They share the lot with Yoshi Car Sales. Their stalls are in the back on the right (about 4 stalls). Rarely do I write reviews for anything on Yelp, but this is a special occasion. I recently picked up painting, and my mom took me here for the first time today. I just wanted to check it out but little did I know that I would be greeted with warm, welcoming and giving workers. The women who helped me out today gave me an amazing experience here with picking out supplies and I was able to go home with so much.
