They fixed and upgraded my computer very quickly, and they were excellent with communication and not over priced for their services.

I brought my laptop in for a diagnostic to try to get it to run faster. They are very unorganized. I called a couple times after a couple weeks and they didn't return my calls. I finally got a hold of them and they couldn't remember why I had brought my computer in. Then they blamed me and said they had "tried to reach me". They also lost my wireless mouse and the computer doesn't even start up now. I ended up in way worse shape then when I entered the shop. I feel bad writing a bad review, but they really put a bad taste in my mouth.

It has been four months since I had a fully functional gaming PC. Apparently my motherboard was not compatible with my current case so instead finding a way around that i now have a motherboard that does not have a functional sound card for gaming, a sound card that is not compatible with 64 bit windows 10, and I was lessened from 8 gigs of ddr2 ram to 6 gigs of ddr3. this has now caused issues compared to what i was previously using to game on. On my old PC I used to be able to flawlessly multitask in and out of a game, now my computer stutters and freezes up at any given random moment.my voice is incomprehensible and my friends refuse to game with me because I can't communicate anymore. I don't have my old motherboard either to fix this issue because it was never given back to me. I also have less slots to upgrade with now and would have to buy a whole new motherboard just to fit more RAM in. Chris even back tracked when I called him on giving me an inferior processor then the one that I had. I WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND TAKING A PERFECTLY WORKING PC IN FOR NEW PARTS. I'd give zero stars if I could.

After talking to the guys at PC Tech, I decided to have them build a computer for me. I needed tons of RAM and I thought I needed the i7 processor. They walked me through the whole build process, explaining in detail why I didn't need the more expensive i7 and what options were available that met my needs yet was still within my budget. They never talked down to me. My new computer was ready less than a week later and I'm writing this review on it. Set up was so easy, it's embarrassing. I was up and running in minutes. Despite being retired, I still work full time and my computer is my primary tool. I am extremely happy with their work and my new computer. I have worked with computers in one way or another, but mostly as an user, since 1982. I know good service when I see it. I know phonies when I see them. These folks have done other work for me in the six years since I moved back home to Tacoma. I have never been overcharged; their pricing is eminently fair for the work they do. They are fast and efficient. They have even done a couple of quick fixes with no charge. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who needs computer repair or help. These are honest people who offer great service for a fair price, something that is becoming more rare as time progesses.

We didn't mind their "same day appointment" charge as we needed our problem fixed and they were very prompt. So if you want quick, efficient and thorough service for a reasonable price, give them a call. We definitely recommend their services.
