Here is why 5 stars for me:…read more Our car - 2018 Subaru Outback Insurance - a provider for Geico Claims Claims - Put to Geico as 2 claims and approved for 1 - Primary claim - front end impact to another car at a red light who hit her brakes to early and hard on a yellow light 2 - self-inflicted damage with a mailbox - side of car Service story: On the primary claim - we had a walkthrough on the nature of the damage, what would involve new body parts and what needed body work otherwise. This gave the opportunity to ask questions which they covered with clarifications. They made sure each incoming part was the correct fit. Took sending those that were not right back to the supplier. In 1 case meant getting the lamp replacement part from Subaru direct. We were picked up at their location for the temporary rental with Enterprise and were able to leave the rental at the body shop when we picked up our car. This was convenient. On the 2nd Claim: Damages - Impact to driver mirror cracked outer mirror body, dents and scratches to multiple body parts including a poor attempt of a person I hired to cover the scratches (who made it worse) Outcome: - new mirror put on car - great body work and match on paint blending - 64 West Collision worked with budgeting best deal for all Follow On: - you always don't see the small details at pick-up. In our case we had two spots that only needed paint thinner to solve. With the primary claim, a small mark due to taping and with the second claim, a small area due to overspray from the guy I hired to touch up the scratches. Closing Comment: They are professional, all communications left me feeling comfortable and they carried through with a promise of satisfaction on work done.

Explained to him that i was driving from Miami and would appreciate an honest review of the car, wanting to know what problems the car had so I wouldn't be wasting their time as well as mine. He sent me a video, some pictures and stated that the car was in great shape. My wife and I were in the car the next day driving the 140 plus miles to their dealership. When we got there, we were greeted and told that the vehicle was being detailed. After about a 10 minute wait they brought the car around and it looked great from a distance. Upon closer inspection I immediately noticed the trunk lid, and rear bumper appeared to be freshly painted. The vehicles external flaws were told to me on the phone, so I knew what I was walking into. When I discussed on the phone the condition of the AC, he said it was working great. Upon inspection, it appeared that there was some type of foam sealant used on the ac accumulator. When asked about it the sales rep told us he knew nothing of that. While it blew cold, it was apparent that there was an issue at some time, but no one knew anything about it. I checked under the car and it also appeared since it was a North Carolina car, there was rust under the car which may have been why the rear deck lid and bumper were painted. I asked him why were they painted and I got what has to be the most ridiculous answer ever from a car salesman and I quote "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" If that was the fucking case they should have done the whole car! Right then and there, we lost trust in both him and the dealership. We opened the trunk to find it extremely wet on both the carpet and deck lid. They took it back to the body shop and told us that they would let us know what the problem was. We left to go get something to eat and waited for their call. An hour and a half later I get a text that it was the studs holding the tail lights in and that it was fixed. Like I said earlier we lost trust with them, so we both decided to pass on the vehicle due to that loss of trust, NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE LIKED THE CAR! We both were quite pissed at the fact that we drove all that way fully expecting to leave with it, only to be mislead on what was actually wrong with the car. I called the dealership later to speak with the manager and left a message for Tim Masse the manager. I was told he would return my call, never did. Left another message yesterday, same result no call back. Left another this morning, still crickets. I'm sure that this dealership provides a great service to the local community that wants new cars? Used cars, another story. Would I do business with them? Not at this point. A simple inspection of the vehicle by one of their mechanics, listing what I found in a 15 minute inspection would have saved us a shit ton of time that I could have spent looking for an honest and reliable used car. I still cannot get over this statement; "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" Think about that before you venture out to see what they have to offer. Just not right to bullshit a customer with cash to spend! Time to hit social media to spread the word....... They chose to delete my honest review so I added it again plus an update. Today we became a repeat customer as we requested Matt to tint the windows in our commercial garage. Stopped at one place and they did not handle exhaust but directed me on to Lake Placid Auto Repair. Never judge a book by it's cover. This shop looks small and crowded, what makes it amazing is the folks inside. I am a single woman in my 40s who knows nothing about cars. They could have told me I needed all kinds of work done and I would have believed it (that sound was scary). Instead the owner took a look right away, told me it was a quick and inexpensive fix. He had me on my way in less than an hour and for less than $50!!!!!! They will be my mechanics for as long as I am in Highlands County. What a hidden gem. I can't recommend them highly enough. An honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold.

I used to bring it somewhere to have it done but I find mobile detailers much more convenient. These guys responded to my online quote request within minutes. I was scheduled the next day with a thirty-minute arrival window and they arrived on time. They looked at my ride and said it would take about an hour. They proceeded to swarm my car with all kinds of pressure washers, vacuums, and potions. It did indeed take about an hour. You would swear my car came right out of the showroom! Maybe even better than that! The tab was $40, and I didn't even need to leave my condo. Sweet! You can bet I'll be reaching out to them again when I need an excellent detailing at a great price!
