If you're looking for a shop that's heavily themed on Tucson and Arizona goods, this is ones for you! Located in the MSA Annex, this store is a great choice for finding fun and thoughtful gifts. They've got a variety of things suitable for all ages. I've purchased books, stickers, T-shirts, hats, and more. I love that they make a strong effort to not only showcase locally made goods but they also work with local partners for print and making their own merch. A must visit if you head to the MSA Annex!

This shop is a wonderful spot to find souvenirs related to Tucson and the Sonoran desert. One can find shirts, cups, stickers, cards, books, jewelry, art, and toys. The staff are always engaging and it's a favorite spot to get Tucson stickers for my water bottle. My spirits are lifted at all that is to be found here.

What a cool little store celebrating the home team. Super friendly staff, great gift options, and a photo op Plus, everyone needs a "Send Tacos" T-shirt, prove me wrong.

I'm always greeted by a friendly face at the counter! This is my absolute favorite place to buy birthday cards! I always like to buy a card and pair it with the super cute stickers they have! And if you're a hat wearer beware.....they have a super cute collection of baseball hats with cactus on them in an array of gorgeous colors. I need one in every color! This time I took my friend Camila who was visiting from Phoenix because she was in need of a birthday card and she loved the idea of pairing it with a few stickers! As we were checking out, I saw their new leather keychains! I just had to buy one! They have cute sayings and frankly, they just spoke to me. Love my new 2020 keychain! I'll post a picture of the one I purchased! I wish they had more T-shirts for women! Xoxo, Localdogmommegs

If you're looking to shop small business this holiday season, highly recommend stopping by Why I Love Where I Live! The store features shirts, masks, hats, books, cards, and little gifts/stocking stuffers that highlight the spirit of Tucson and celebrate locally made items. If you buy a mask, they donate a mask to a local organization in need, and right now, they have a holiday collection which has the cutest desert themed ornaments and cards. I always have to resist buying more than what I came in looking for - love this place!

The MSA Annex is a favorite spot to bring out-of-towners and to visit when we're in the neighborhood. The re-purposed shipping containers are unique and modern, and the shops are owned by locals. Why I Love Where I Live is on the east end of the Annex near Beaut Burger. Since WILWIL has opened, we have brought guests several times to select Tucson-themed stickers, t-shirts, hats, games, chocolates, you name it. We also have shown our love of Tucson with some shirts and books purchased here. Kristin, the owner, keeps the shop fun and fresh. If you don't know the story behind the shop or its mission, check it out on their website - https://www.whyilovewhereilive.com/thestory.

Fun local store that offers lots of Tucson merchandise. Lots of fun items and a great options. Hydroflasks, t-shirts, cools stickers, kids shirts, hats, + much more. Amazing place to get gifts that are local and help out our economy. In a great shopping area that offers different retail stores, food, and a nice liquor/bar area. Stop by and take a couple of hours to wander around.

I've been following this store on Instagram for awhile. If you're not following them do it now! They're always posting cute new items for sale, which you can buy online too. The store itself is tiny, like all the stores in the Annex shopping center. They're all made of out shipping containers and very charming inside. Everything for sale is Arizona/Tucson themed and reasonably priced. I bought a sticker for $3 by a local artist. There are loads of cute stickers! There are also T-shirt's for $25, water bottles, pins, books, hats, patches and so much more. It's really a must see if you love all things Sonoran desert. It's a great store that supports local artists, inspires pride in Tucson, and invites those new to the desert to explore and learn. Support local. Live local. Check this store out!

A superb spot with coffee, specialty brew, craftsmanship, music, a noodle/sushi shop, burgers, bicycles, and more.

I looked at him and said "You're getting me a vintage pinup shoot!" After the shoot I can think of no truer words. Honestly I think I'm getting the better end of that deal! Ramsey, the photographer, and Kelly, make up artist, are incredibly charming and personable. I seriously walked in for my photo shoot and felt like I had known these lovely ladies my whooole life. They were easy going, sweet, and very helpful to someone who was unsure of the process. I told Ramsey I love Bettie Page but had no clue what to wear but that I liked reds/blacks and she pulled a ton of options, had me try them on and helped me pick out what was the most flattering. We ended up doing two outfits rather than just one because she liked them both so much. I also got to pick out props for the shoot. I chose a leopard print chair because rawr right? I also felt fabulous in my makeup and asked Kelly what she was doing while she was doing it and she talked me through everything. She was so good, in fact, I signed up for one of the makeup/hairstyle classes the next day! They offered me makeup wipes afterward and I think I replied "Who'd ever want to take this off?!" I think this may become my regular treat!

RACIST! Sadly No other way to put this. I accompanied my gf (UofA) student to this clothing store…read more I casually stayed in the corner as my gf browsed their store. After about 5 minutes a blonde Caucasian student WITH A BLACK BACKPACK asked to try something on, the store associate kindly said yes and showed her to the dressing room. Seconds later my gf asked the same associate who took one look at her, said "yes but you have to leave your backpack here". I witnessed two people who both had backpacks get treated very differently. My girlfriends race was judged by the associate, because she decided right then she wasn't allowed to go into the dressing room with her school back pack, which was right next to the register. The associates demeanor towards us was NOT friendly, as her demeanor to the Caucasian blonde hair college girl was kind and welcoming. There was and is NO DOUBT we were judged due to my gf's skin color. Owner/Manager pull the camera on 2/28/23 at 2:30pm and you will see how we were stopped and the white customers were free to take their bags into the dressing room. I also want to mention the staff had NOOOO idea where to even place the backpack (which had her laptop in it). They were asking each other. As if they don't do this often. If this is store policy you would assume they have a designated area for bags. Not only will be never support this store again, we will let our friends and family know of this horrible treatment. Keep your eye open on how they treat those who look like white college students versus the black or dark skin college students. Sad we have this happening right on the University strip.
