Dr. Kelley is the most kind and giving man I've ever met…read more 30 years ago, he and his wife sponsored my family from Vietnam. They didn't know who we were, but wanted to help. They saved our lives. Despite having 3 kids of their own, they adopted an orphan from Vietnam. And since sponsoring us, they have sponsored 4 other families from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. I don't know if you all know what a burden it is to sponsor a family. You are physically and finanacially responsible for these people until they can get on their feet. It's easier said than done. Just imaginge a whole family of strangers (who don't speak your language) living with you. They have opened up their hearts and their home for people in need. And for the past 23 years, Dr. Kelley has been traveling to Haiti ( a place in political turmoil) twice a year to work in the local hospital and help with the local orphans. He and his wife will be traveling there next year to also help reform the educational system. What a truly wonderful man! If you live in this area, is there any doubt as to which doctor you should see?

Kelley needs to be recognized as a great Dr. as well as a humanitarian. It does not surprise me to see what Tu D. wrote about Dr. Kelley, I knew that he went to Haiti twice a year and that he had adopted a child from Vietnam but the sponsorship of families was something I didn't know about, but that really doesn't surprise me.... I've had Dr. Kelly as my PCP for a few years now and have always found him to be an incredibly caring individual who also is a really good, practical, doctor. don't expect a lot of bells and whistles when you go to his office, in fact he will probably complain to you about how the "damn computers" are making his life as a doctor a living hell... Do expect to find someone who will listen to you, treat you as an expert in your own care, and work with you to fix whatever is broken. He doesn't automatically reach for the prescription pad, but may just tell you why your mom was right about chicken soup is good for you when you have a cold and the science behind it.... I would strongly recommend that anyone go to see Dr. Kelley, being a good guy goes a long way in being a good doctor... and he's a great guy.

He is thorough, and engages patients to take responsibility for their own health, with his support. He doesn't pass out antibiotics like candy. In all this time, there has only been one time I was unable to get a same day appointment for an acute illness, which is amazing. He also has a highly qualified Physician Assistant who supports him and she is wonderful. Dr. Cronin is kind and compassionate, and keeps up to date with latest best practices (unlike Drs. who learn in med school, and feel that that is the only right way, forever.) One of the things I love best about his practice is that he's not afraid to admit he doesn't know something, and if he doesn't know, will either figure it out or send you to a specialist if needed. I had just gotten involved in a project/investment that required my presence 7 days a week. I asked Dr C if he can help me with it at least for a year, so I can focus on the project......... AND HE DELIVERED!!!!!!! About a year later we started decreasing the frequency of the sessions and believe it or not, that was it. Never had any more pain, but of course you have to have periodic sessions to maintain what he has given you. So thank you DOC AGAIN AND AGAIN......

Unfortunately, Dr. Corcoran not so much. Dr. Corcoran does not seem to understand what continuity of care means. Recently i had a experience where i was "mailed" a prescription that was never received. I contacted the office (Thank you Terry!) and decided to wait a couple of days to no avail. Contact the office again and was informed that My PCP was on vacation, explained my situation to Debbie (office "manager") and asked her to then have prescription mailed to work since they seem to always have a problem mailing me, although no one else is. After 1/2 day, she calls to inform me that they wont mail a new prescription because Corcoran is not "familiar" with me. Mind you these are not narcotics. When i again told them i have been off for a couple of days, Debbie' s response was "well, there is nothing I can do" i asked to have either Corcoran call me or i could call at a time most convenient and was told that was not happening either. I am sorry, but if you have my 10 years medical records to your disposition and you are that lazy to take a look since you are the MD of the practice and rather not be bothered by those pesky little things such as patient care, maybe is time to change profession.
