The process was simple since we had lined up our group and paid ahead of time. We had Coach Payton (I hope I spelled it correctly). He was extremely informative and explained what we were going to do for our two hours there. We all had a blast and he was extremely patient with us all. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to do a work event, stress relief, or just a fun activity indoors.

We found Rising Phoenix Archery on Google and gave them a call beforehand just in case they were slammed. Their indoor Open Range was very clean, spacious and had about 19 lanes! On the other side, there seemed to be a family with kids having a private practice session - very family friendly here. Since it was our first time doing archery, we were given a little introduction to how to handle the bow and the range's rules. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a lot of fun and got to take some fun pictures too! Group Friendly - YES. Plenty of space for a group. Family Friendly - YES. We saw plenty of parents with their children learning archery there. Date Friendly - YES. Very cute date idea. Price - VERY affordable. Rentals are free and you are only paying for time there if you are doing open range. They even have punch cards for frequent goers. Difficulty - Easy. As a beginner, I had no issues for my first archery session. Food - Drinks and Snacks available for purchase here. Seats available for anyone tagging along but not joining in on the archery fun. Social Distancing - Our group was able to spaced out enough from other groups, so it wasn't an issue.

I went yesterday for a friend's birthday party and it was a lot of fun. It was easy to sign up and pay online beforehand ($40). I didn't know what we would be creating until we arrived - I'm not sure if my friend chose that, or PWAT chose for her. I think our instructor's name was Rachel, and she was very good. I'm not really good at painting, my painting came out okay overall IMO though. You're allowed to bring drinks and food, I think my friend and some of the other attendees brought some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and some snacks. The class is two hours long and you'll leave with a nice painting of your own creation. They also had a contest mid-class where we could guess the number of wine corks in a big bottle, and I was the winner! (I was only four off - I won't tell you the # though because I think they do this every class) Because of that, I was able to choose a painting from the wall, and I really love the one I chose. I believe these paintings are done by instructors. Overall I'd come back here again although it's a little bit of an expensive habit if you go often ($40 each time).

The dinner itself brings you on a real journey of flavors, and it is one that is never repeated twice. From the first light stop of a variation of bruschetta, that holds creamy textures and the real sweetness only homemade bread can bring, it glides you to a second course. Four to five bite-size appetizers are introduced to your palate in a manner that is akin to meeting new strangers. The variability of seafood, to the freshness of salads with seasonal combinations, to traditional tastes of Northern Italy, and the occasional heartiness of street food. We then move to our next stop, that of the one of the two main courses. Usually, as all stereotypes tend to say, a dish of pasta is served. However, there is a full range that is thoroughly explored. New landscapes of flavors are married, from saffron and blueberry to black garlic and cocoa, and many more. I only loved the gnocchi. The meats were not good & the seafood ceviche was too fishy. My biggest complaint is that not one dish was hot. All lukewarm.
