Woodmans is by far the best candy shop in the United States living in South Florida for 33 years. So it might be hard to believe but I've never had a chocolate covered potato chip. Now, whenever I think of North Dakota I'll think of these. As my first introduction, these are more chocolaty than salty but good none the least. This is truly a throw-back place and apparently, this is the original store. I was born and raised in Grand Forks and Widman's truly is an institution. On my visits back, I always stop there. Not only are the chippers good but on this last trip I found chocolates with a licorice cream center that are out of this world. We spent more than 1/2 hour deciding what to buy from among all their 'goodies.' While we were there they were constantly bringing out fresh new candies.
