Tea and crepe is a small, lovely cafe. They have a variety of board games available to entertain guests, which makes it a great option for families and groups of friends. Although I think it's also a great place to go by yourself if you're ever needing a little treat. I've gone a couple times already, and they have not disappointed. I've tried their crepes, ice cream, and popcorn chicken so far, and they all have been great. They make their ice cream to order using the cold plate and rolling method originally from Southeast Asia. The ice cream came out really creamy and smooth...and not to mention it looks adorable and makes for great pictures. The crepes are wonderful. They have a nice crunch at the edge and a great mix of flavors between the fillings and toppings. However, my gold star goes to the popcorn chicken because it was AMAZING. It reminds me of Taiwanese popcorn chicken (street food) without the fried basil leaves. It came with a bbq sauce, but I honestly felt like that was totally unnecessary because the chicken was so flavorful and juicy. I honestly thought it was perfect on its own, and the American bbq flavor didn't match as well as I would like with the Asian flavors of the chicken anyways. I was kind of disappointed they didn't have a more robust boba menu nor did they offer more traditional flavors and toppings like 冬瓜茶、仙草、红豆, etc...but I understand there isn't as much of a demand for that kind of stuff in the area, so they get a free pass. This was a must-do while visiting Grand Forks. When my friend told me about this shop I knew I had to stop in before we fly back home. So cool to watch them making the ice cream right in front of you. It's like the opposite of cooking on a grill...surface so cold it freezes the cream on the spot. I have never had ice cream rolls and was so excited to try it. I ordered the Mango Mango. It was so nice and creamy with the Greek yogurt and fresh mangoes. I was expecting it to be hard but it was nice and soft as I got through the cup. It was topped off with fresh strawberries, a kit kat and condensed milk. I thoroughly enjoyed it while walking across the bridge to East Grand Forks. A great way to top off the afternoon after a good lunch. The staff was all friendly and welcoming and I really enjoyed the ability to watch them making it at the stations. Pretty nice decent size as well for the price. My Grand Forks friends told me i had to try this place. Upon entry, i got a friendly greeting from the "masked" staff. I knew exactly where yo stand, due to the 6' socially distanced floor markers. The menu is very clear and has sufficient detail. All the staff were busy at work, mixing and blending. I ordered a Spam rice ball and Cappuccino smoothie with tapioca pearls. The rice ball was wrapped in a cool triangular holder. Very convenient for on the go eating. The spam was cooked just right, little crispy on the edges and then buried in the middle of the rice , wrapped with seaweed and dabbed with a mild creamy sriracha sauce. Very tasty! The cappuccino smoothie and tapioca was just the right amount of "cap" and sweetness. A great afternoon snack! As good as any tea & snack shop in Los Angeles. read more

Given that this is the only Thai ice cream roll establishment in grand forks, sometimes you may wait a bit longer than usual... which is not a problem at all considering the work that goes into making the ice cream. My family's favorites are: taro smoothie, honeydew smoothie, mango tea, & thai tea... all with extra Boba! ALL the ice cream rolls are delicious. We can never pick just one flavor. & the crepes, they're all so yummy as well! To add, the crepes are also made fresh! You have a list of toppings to choose from and my kids have loved them all. The menu is easy for children to understand, though there is a language barrier and some things are misspelled. The crepes are ginormous and also made from scratch right in front of you . I can't eat a whole one even if I tried to make a meal of it. They have six or eight to choose from. The place is clean and the ingredients are fresh. They have games to play while you wait. They don't have anything savory; it's all dessert; but I'm holding out hope. Not bad, not great. Their teas are ludicrously sweet by default. I have to ask them to hold off on the sugar and the kids at the desk look at me like I'm from another planet most of the times. Back in Cali, adjustable sweetness was standard. Also back in Cali where boba tea shops are more common than Starbucks, a large milk tea with boba costs around $3. The same drink costs $5.07 after tax at Tea&Crepe Cafe. I suppose there isn't any other competition so I gotta keep coming back here for my five dollar boba. read more

I was drawn in by the name, expecting a typical tea house that served crepes, so I was a little disappointed to find that it was an ice cream shop with sweet teas. Then I saw they had onigiri! So unexpected. We usually translate this to "rice ball." It's a large triangle-shaped rice ball, filled with something like fish or bbq meat and wrapped in seaweed. Then the whole thing is wrapped in a plastic package that pulls apart in a very cool way....follow the numbers. These are very common in Japan, easy to pack along in your lunch or on a hike and sold in every convenience store in the country. To top it off, the service was very friendly and helpful. read more
