She then proceeds to have you wait for a long period of time to get the wig in order to make sure that your payment goes through on your credit card. At that point you cannot stop payment. The first wig tangled so much in the first week it was unwearable . The replacement wig was a different color a different hair texture and full of ball spots. See the second picture. As a physician I am appalled that she prays on the emotions of people who are suffering from cancer, alopecia or other medical problems that could cause hair loss. I lost $400 just because I wanted something handmade especially for me. I am in the process of fighting this situation through the Better Business Bureau and then small claims court. She said she would give me a refund and pretended that she was sending it through PayPal only to find out later she did not do so. The owner this business is a liar and a thief. Be careful because she is very convincing and very good at running this scam. She is very believable at first but in the end you'll be out of money and have no wig.

And once I found one, I asked her for the number to her salon. It turned out that she went to Terry's Place (even though I met her in Troy). So for the past several months I've been going to Terry's for both the hair salon and lashes. As a bit of background: my hair is not relaxed, but I do use a semi-permanent color. I go to Terry's about once a month for a deep conditioner, color, trim, and press (blow dry/flatiron). I do my own maintenance between appointments. Jo, the stylist who does my hair, does an amazing job. And (this is crucial) he gets me in and out in a couple of hours. None of that sitting around all day, which is important to me since I only have time to go on the weekends. His prices are also affordable, especially for the quality of service that he provides. And I am almost always (really) late to my appointment, and he is always forgiving and accommodating. During the downtime in my hair appointment, I've started getting my lashes done (the lash salon is a semiprivate room connected to the salon). Hands down, I've never had a better, more professional, or as natural-looking application of lashes. The outcome is usually flawless (though I am not) and I've always walked out of the door a happy customer.
