This is the only place on Maui that you can go to if you need to send something via DHL. The…read moreprices are very high but not Islandwide's fault as DHL sets their extremely high prices (think 2-3 times more than UPS). Staff are nice and helpful. Would have given four stars but had to wait long time for my receipt. They take your card info and then message it to someone that then processes your card and the faxes (Yes, I said FAXES) your receipt to Islandwide for you to sign. That's a little WTF in my opinion.

EXPERIENCE: Naturally I jumped on Yelp and utilized the site's useful quote feature where it also sends the inquiry to multiple businesses if you wish. Long story short, MCS had the best rating out of everyone and responded quickly (next day). I got a quote of $190/hour with a minimum of 2-hours. Due to the location and size of the furniture that needed to be moved, my spouse asked the owner, Mark, if he could come by just to check everything out so we wouldn't be surprised with any additional fees (which there weren't any). He happily agreed, even driving to the furniture's final destination point to check out the location. We agreed to move everything on a specific date a few days down the road. A medium-sized box truck and four workers arrived 15-minutes early on moving day. Out of courtesy, they asked if we wanted their shoes on or off (it's a Hawaii thing!) Pieces were professionally wrapped with protective plastic with utmost care not to cause damage to walls, light fixtures, etc. I was very impressed with an ingenious arm strap that was used to lift and move a very heavy cabinet. I could picture me blowing out my back trying to lift it without leverage. Delivery was just as efficient as pick up. We called them a second time as we had a last minute move of a custom-built bed. Regardless of their 2-hour minimum, Mark was cool and charged us to the next 15-minute rather than the hour. Thanks, man! OVERALL: The high-rating is legit! Local, professional, efficient, trustworthy. Highly recommended moving company & crew!

I picked up my dog and upon looking at my dog mussel there were puncture bites on it and it was brand new. That means they open the door and tryed to put it on my dog. Then UPS sent me back to the shipper...and I bounced back and fourth with no responsibility claimed by Ramone or UPS. All in all, after 2 weeks of trying to get my 100 dollars that came with each package, my claim was denied by UPS based on insufficient packaging. Ramone prior to sending my items said that it was packaged fine. UPS upon receiving the claim said otherwise. I was redirected to Ramone to despute these claims and he denied the despute and said he refused to help any further. I then asked him if he just rips people off and he then replied, "YES". This is a dirty businessman. I highly recommend paying the extra money to ship through a company that isn't there to screw over the consumer. I am a poor person, work really hard for what I have, was yet again robbed by big business.I hope nothing more than for this person to out of business. The Mail Room in Kahului is ghetto and sleazy at best.
