By far the worst grocery store in the greater triad area. Non caring employees and small nasty…read morestore. Selection is horrible and a lot of the time there is out of date and expired merchandise on the floor for sale. Dont expect to get any help from anybody at this store. Never anybody in the deli, so I can never get sandwich meats, or deli items. Nobody ever says hello or offers to help. This place really makes you appreciate a good grocery store. Like anywhere besides here. I tried to call the store and speak to the manager about my concerns, but the line is always busy. I even called corporate, but their office was closed. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else. Absolutely the worst customer service ever.

It seems kind of silly reviewing Food Lion, because seriously... what do you expect??…read more Their produce always looks bruised and/or brown. I once bought raspberries from here and they were molded the very next day; they weren't on sale, I never got to taste them, and it wasn't even 24 hours yet. I've never seen such sparse product selection at a grocery store. It's really more like a convenience store. On top of that, where do they find these cashiers? I have to remind myself that this is Food Lion: you can't expect employees to be happy to be there; you can't expect them to say "hello" or "thank you" or really, say anything other than "MVP?" (in reference to the Food Lion card). Food Lion--it's what you get when you take something crummy like Walmart, throw out all other departments except the grocery, and make produce age a week before selling them.

Above average ALDI, IMO. This chain is known for being affordable and low-frills. Given whats going…read moreon with grocery prices (as of Mar 2026), I've been making this spot part of my shopping routine. Their produce is fresh and they have a reliably well-stocked dairy section. I used to avoid ALDI because I felt I'd find it frustrating that they have a rotating stock. But, they have really built up a steady supply of staples. I may never forgive them for the time they had full-size holiday marzipan on clearance for like 50 cents a bar. I got like 20. They were delicious and didn't last very long . My favorite thing to shop for here is cheese- because they'll have fancy cheeses (that I suspect are overstock) for not too much money. Also, if you're into deep discounts on clearance items and are willing to buy random stuff, this is your spot. As with all ALDI stores, bringing your own bags and having a shopping cart quarter ready is a best practice. They've added self-checkout options as well. But, ALDI cashiers are professionals and I'll never pass up the opportunity to interact with them. Fast and friendly. Overall- I consistently have a good experience here. Worth checking out!

Some of the reasons I like Food Lion in general include: -easy to use app -sales are clearly marked -stores are just the right size (not too big or small) And some of the reasons I like this location in particular include: -produce tends to be fresh -some of their cashiers are really friendly -they've been nice to me when I've shopped in full gremlin mode at weird hours Some of my proudest moments in this store include: 1- the time I forgot my phone and needed to use theirs (they let me), 2- the time I negotiated a $10 discount on some freezer burned crab legs, and 3- the time I got a rain check coupon for a product that I had a freebee coupon for. The main reasons my rating isn't perfect include: 1- in the evenings, they often force you to do self checkout, and 2- cashier quality can be inconsistent. Overall, this is a perfectly good place to shop. Just make sure you download the app and leverage their deals if you choose to go!

I've noticed that the stores in my area are currently being remodeled, and the new layout is much more like Walmart. In a small town like ours, many of us value Food Lion because it isn't like the big-box stores -- it's local, simple to navigate, and easy to shop in. If we wanted a Walmart-style experience, we'd go there. Please consider maintaining the unique, customer-friendly layout that has always made Food Lion a great option for small-town shoppers. Its funny when I called the 800 number I asked the person on the phone, why did they change it she said because "we like it" ..Did you ask the customer

If you've never been or heard about their subs, they're definitely worth checking out. Made fresh, in front of you using premium ingredients, and made just how you want it, they give sub shops a lot to stand up to. After a quick review of the menu we ordered the Sweet Bo's Chicken Philly. The guy helping us in the deli didn't hold back, didn't skimp on the ingredients and made it perfectly cheesy even toasting it twice until it was exactly as we wanted. After checking out we decided to stop in to their small cafe area to eat quickly as we could see it was juicy and didn't want to make a mess eating it in the car. The sandwich was absolutely delicious with lots of chopped chicken, bell peppers, mushrooms and we switched from American cheese to provolone...it absolutely hit the spot and curbed our hanger. I'd never stoped at this public before, but would again, it was very well kept and clean, and I'd definitely get this sandwich again given the opportunity!

Their other olive selections - greek style, mixed with feta, and lemon based, plus their seasoned mushrooms are also delicious. And as a perks member, I do get treats for my birthday, half birthday, and anniversary, as well as decent $2 ff $10 coupons occasionally. Service is always polite and speedy, which I appreciate. Bonus points to this location for having EV charging available. Can be nice to juice up while shopping.
