Spoiler: a lot. I remember when the north side of Main was the place where dreams died. Now, there are hotels, condos and well-attended businesses. I hardly recognized the place. I parked and walked in to an empty dining room. Selfishly, I like that. It gives me more time to hem and haw. I was immediately approached by the super kind owner. He walked me through the menu and concept. I like the fact that acai is mainstream now but I LOVE that WBA's acai is served without water or ice (so common) and is distributed via a soft serve machine (but no dairy). I love the ingenuity. Sold, I opted for the Blueberry bowl -- which is a bowl of soft-serve acai, topped with a healthy amount of blueberries (duh), banana, toasted coconut, chia seeds, GF granola, and honey. The price is a little steep but you get a LOT of product. This could be split (I ate half and saved the rest for later). Everything was fresh and there was a metric ton** of acai but the dominant taste note (for me) was 'cold.' Pleasant. Non-offensive. Not exciting. Perhaps I ordered wrong? But the owner was such a nice person I'm willing to give it another try. It seems that WBA has a lot of fans.
