The atmosphere is sort of average, nothing real special but not bad. I bought some frozen green beans and burgers. I already ate them and they were pretty high quality. I just wish Wild Fork would sell more side dishes. I love veggies and the varieties are limited. They sell a $12 insulated bag which threw me off. The manager was assisting me with finding the bbq ribs which are cook in the bag style and taste crazy good. I love that this store has every kind of hard to find foods (elk, bison, venison, octopus). I come here to get the grass fed ground beef and lamb. The beef is great. The mini leg of lamb I bought was not tender, a bit tough to cut. They have a whole case of desserts that look good, i haven't tried them yet. (Key lime pie, berry tarts, acai sorbet). read more

My friend and I attended a private event at Wild Fork and had such a great time! There were several vendors offering samples of a variety of meats-from lamb chops to steak and chicken. Everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere was fun and lively with a DJ playing music, and although there was a long line for the prize giveaways, it was totally worth it-yes, we all won meat! What a hidden gem! We are foodies (obviously) so a meat store that has everything frozen made us...skeptical. We went to a Yelp! event here. We were forever changed. The meat is flash frozen and tastes fresh when cooked. We loved the mushroom churrasco. It's better than the chimichuri. The ribs are meaty and soft. We can get meat for the two of us for a couple weeks for a very reasonable price. The staff is there to help if you need, but I've not experienced outgoing service. We have purchased many different types of meat and fish over the years, almost from when they first opened in Fort Lauderdale! We purchased Argentina shrimp for the holidays, we opened and cooked one of the 2 lb bags and they had a poor pair and tasted very bad! We threw them all away with a house full for Christmas dinner. The New York strips are restaurant quality as good as some high-end steakhouse if not better, and the Florida gulf, shrimp, taste amazing, like shrimp, should taste! You will be very satisfied with the quality of meats and seafood here, everything is frozen. However, when I want to prepare a steak, I just put it in the refrigerator the day before, and they're ready to go out the next day the frozen shrimp I run underwater for about five minutes to defrost, doesn't get any easier than that. If you're not happy with the meat, prices at your local grocery store, then this place is a must! I love coming to the Wild Fork in Ft Lauderdale. The store is clean, new, and bright. It's important to know that everything is frozen. This works for me as I only cook for 1-2 people, so the fact that most things are portioned or even individually packaged is great! They are known for being the place where you can buy your regular proteins as well as rarer ones. I always come for their skinless salmon, great quality and individually packed within the larger bag. I had to make two trips to your store the first time I was told I needed a receipt which I did not have. How long are you suppose to keep your receipt? This preserves freshness and ensures your flavor is even better than what you buy at your local grocery store. Everything comes frozen. My favorite part about Wild Fork is that I hardly waste food anymore and make fewer trips to the store. My meat it also so much fresher when I go to cook! You just pop it in the fridge the night before to thaw, and the next evening, it's ready to go. My go-tos are the chimichurri skirt steak, frozen shrimp by the pound, lamb chops, chicken breasts ($2.76 per pound!!!!), and of course, the filets! Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale All the food is flash frozen from beef to chicken to turkey to a lot of fish and desserts as well ALL FLASH FROZEN Prices are fairly reasonable We went with a bag of scallops which was only 1 pound( U10-U20 ) when I usually buy the bag at BJ's for a pound and a half about seven dollars more. My experience has only been with online ordering, not in store. I've ordered a few times from Wild Fork and the first time, the meats and packaging were pretty decent quality. After that, it went downhill. They claim things like "We pick pieces closest in size to what you ordered" & "PERFECT PACKAGE", however.... this most recent order, my "approximately 1 lbs" steaks were each half a pound, the ground beef packaging was ripped wide open and most of the meats had some sort of hold/tear in the packing that caused them to leak all over the inside of the refrigerator while thawing them. They also advertise "OUR BOXES ARE SO GOOD YOU CAN GIFT THEM", but I personally would not gift a soggy cardboard box that's falling apart as I lift it. Maybe that's just me? Contacting customer support was pointless, so I have chosen to cancel my membership and stop purchasing from this retailer. I'm sure the in-store experience is just fine, but I would avoid ordering online and having the items shipped to you. At least until they figure out how to implement some quality control. read more

My biggest concern lately has been consistency-it seems that over the past year some of my steak orders (prime always) were tuff and not the quality I was expecting-to wild forks credit they took care of my complaints timely and without question. I have since been extremely pleased with my steak orders and will continue to purchase items from them. We'd visited WF when they were set up in the parking lot and then when they first opened the storefront before the covid crisis, so when my carnivorous hubby got stir crazy after over a week of "safer at home", tired of hot dogs, rice and beans, he remembered Wild Fork. As other reviewers have pointed out, the meat/seafood selection is a long long list. Items are priced rather competitively, especially compared to the prices at box grocers. But you cannot compare the quality, since WF food is on some sort of other level amazing quality. Now they do have some cuts that have mind blowing prices, as expected from a specialty merchant. Our first visit, we were treated royally as well as our subsequent visits, where we received refresher points regarding store layout and meat selection. Easily the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I ordered a rib cap steak a couple weeks ago and asked for a delivery last Saturday. All good so far. On Saturday I get a notice that the item was shipped with a tracking number. But the item was never given to the shipping company. Yesterday I waited on hold for 2 hours - no answer. I wrote two emails. Today, I called again and spoke to a pleasant young man - however he had no clue when I would get my product, he couldn't cancel my order, he couldn't process a refund, and he admitted he would send the issue to another department but had no idea when and if they would contact me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he pleasantly said the supervisor would be on the line in a few minutes. My friend Nicole V. mentioned something about buying some clam meat for her Thanksgiving dinner from Wild Fork Foods. Being the foodie I am I decided to investigate and found their website. A chain butcher spreading all over the USA with an easy to navigate website with tons of specialty meats, I was intrigued. Many of you know I often fly into Fort Lauderdale just to go to Costco, which then means hours of separating and vacuuming sealing meat into correct portion sizing, then freezing to take home. Wild Fork Foods seemed worth trying as I could order online and pick up in store (delivery is an option too) and this would help me avoid the Costco headache. I spent some time selecting the perfect cuts of everything from Waygu to Ostrich and selected pick up for a few days later. Check out said the prices would slightly change based on what was in store, and I was fine with that. When it was finally time to pick up my order it was a breeze. Everything was ready to go in easy to carry bags, wrapped in insulation. To my surprise, pretty much everything was already vacuum sealed saving me tons of space in my cooler suitcase (I did repackage a handful of items but I know better for next time now). Ok. So really what's important. The quality of the meat! To be fair I dropped about $500 here less than 2 weeks ago, and that was the holiday time, sooo we haven't eaten too much yet. But I feel confident in my review as the two things we have eaten - Venison Frenched Rib Rack and the Bone-in Cowboy Steak have nothing been absolutely outstanding cuts of meat. Last week I picked up one of Wild Forks recipe cards for Dry Rub Ribs, they were delicious. Today I bought another rack of ribs I'm going to repeat that fall-off-the-bone recipe. Also tried something new, their Plant Based Burgers sold in a two pack for $5.25. I ordered from this company 2/18/22 and my package was discarded by the carrier. The carrier said wff would be notified, I followed up and notified them myself. I received an automated email in response to that and have heard nothing since. I've called the customer care number and been on hold for over an hour before hanging up. And still to this day I haven't received an email/call regarding my issue but I was still charged. So I was charged for something I never received nor can I speak with someone to rectify the situation and for that no I will never order again from wff and am notifying the better business bureau Update 3/5/22- I finally got in touch with customer support and they were actually very helpful and immediately issued a refund, guess there's some logistics issues they're working through. Wild Fork Foods is a new (to me) grocery store for prime selections of foods. I visited pretty late at night because I wanted to grab some salmon + steak for meal prepping. My boyfriend and I entered the grocery and I swore there were others shopping as well until I realized it was workers. They were dressed fairly casual as I believe they didn't have a set uniform. They were very kind in asking if we needed assistance but we knew what we wanted so we got it and looked around before cashing out. The prices were lower than we expected which was a plus.
