Back in 2015-2017 Wild Ginger was a food truck and was absolutely delicious. All of my friends and I would go to this little gem and always looked forward to it. Fast forward to now... and you can definitely tell the quality has unfortunately gone down. The yum yum sauce is wayyyyy watered down and to me is just mediocre Chinese food. Came across this place while getting gas. The restaurant is inside the convenience store. I got the chicken/steak/shrimp hibachi combo. The food was delicious and the portions are large. The steak was tenderloin of good quality and cooked to your temperature preference. Food was ready for takeout in 10 -15 minutes. Pleasant surprise and great choice for hibachi takeout. read more

The food is always tasty but make sure you tell them exactly how you like your meat if you don't like your meat well done you better tell him because if you tell him you want it well done it's gonna be well done so if you want your chicken moist, tell him not to cook it well done Chicken has a point to where it's cooked properly but if you cook it too long, it gets hard because it's a tight woven meat so just have them cook it normally and tell them not to cook it too long and they won't they listen to you very very well at wild Ginger your meat you wanna make sure that it's not cooked all the way because if it's hot, it'll keep cooking. It'll keep cooking itself until it cools down so if you like medium rare, you better tell him you like medium rare if you like medium make sure you tell a medium don't be shy as wild ginger aim please because they want your business back now that their business is inside the service station. It's so much easier especially if it's the weather is not so good if it's raining it's a lot nicer to wait inside the service station Both staffs wild Ginger and the service station. Staff are very kind and they work together as a team while Ginger really brings a business into that service station, even the service station can stand alone if while Ginger wasn't there, you still go there to fuel up because the people that run the service station are very kind as wild Ginger Has very kind employees you can't miss if you're wanting Chinese food or if you're wanting wild ginger it has a flare of Japanese flavor. Also, sometimes you can't tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese food but I can but I'll tell you while ginger will never make a mistake. They always do you right they listen to you because they want you to enjoy your meal? You get a very large fortunate portion so a lot of times I'll have food for the next day And I always separate the meat out when I'm finished eating and I wanna have it for the next day, I separate the meat out into another little container at home and then I can separate the chicken from the beef because they don't need to be warm together because the chicken will get more cooked than what you want it to so you might just wanna put it under the broiler in your oven and not put it in the microwave like I say don't complain about wild Ginger's meats if you take them home and put them in the microwave and try to heat up everything you don't wanna heat up all the rice and the veggies and all the meat together in your microwave because it will cause the meat to cook too quickly, and if you're trying to get the rice and everything to be warm, it's gonna take longer so make sure you separate the meat out put it underneath your broiler in your oven on them on a foil you'll be glad you listen to my suggestion but anyway, while Ginger is a wonderful place to eat, take my advice and try them out. read more

Tonight was our first time ordering at Wild Ginger. We ordered the spring rolls, egg rolls, crab rangoons, Shrimp hibachi, and double steak/scallop hibachi. Everything came out as ordered. Scallops were delicious, as was the steak, rice and vegetables. The shrimp hibachi was delicious, as well. All of the appetizers were good and the workers were very polite. There is no reason to get hibachi rice anywhere else. I can't say it any more plainly than that. It's the best in town by a mile. Not only is it the best in Conway, but I honestly think the Steak dish here is the best I've had in the state. The chicken is right up there with it. I don't do scallops, but my dining companion is always impressed with them. Most of the time I don't even use any extra sauce; I just eat it as it is served. Delicious and consistent. Can't ask for more than that. I do recommend ordering ahead. Sometimes they take cards. Sometimes they don't. That's the bid advantage of calling ahead, aside from the obvious wait reduction. read more

Outstanding "grab-n-go" food. I called ahead and ordered and it was hot and ready when I got here. Delicious dumplings and awesome brown rice and veggies. We will be back!! I have had many Japanese/Asian food trucks and I am grateful that we have one in Conway. It is so good and I mean everything since I have tried everything on their menu. Not a huge variety but it's enough. Their hibachi is good, better prices than at hibachi restaurant so that's a plus. Their burger is HUGE and FREAKING DELICIOUS. My go to is the lo mein, without onions (cause I'm weird like that) but you can request without certain things and they'll accommodate. This is my go to to-go place! Portion is pretty big. read more

Anytime someone asks me abt hibachi, I always be sure to include this food truck! Hibachi steak and veggies is my favorite meal of all time. So, imagine my surprise when my daughter told me about a food truck next to Exxon her friends have been raving about. The dumplings are perfectly fried and are the best I've ever had. We tried steak and shrimp. I, personally, didn't care for the shrimp.(I'll admit, I'm picky.) they were large and if there is even a hint of ocean(fish)taste, I can't. HOWEVER, the steak was amazing. You roll up to a gas station and a run down looking good truck. This is a case where you cannot judge a book by its cover. These are the crispest egg rolls I've ever had, just great. The food is excellent, but their customer service is terrible. They don't bother to answer the phone, and when they do they'll leave you on hold. Often I find the phone just rings and it never picks up. they'll have to do better if they want repeat customers. All good food needs AT LEAST, decent service and they don't have that. read more
