    Dress code

Avid line dancers review: Age group is late 20s to early 40s. Really nice you don't have a bunch of drunk young people crowding the floor. Crowd is pretty chill, not very hyped. Wasn't very busy when I got there at 11:30pm. Busiest part of the night was between 11:45pm-1:15am. Dress code is strict for the men, but given the area its needed to keep up the country vibes and not get lost in an urban crowd. Fashion for women is pretty casual. Not a lot of sexy skimpy clothing you'd find in a younger crowd. More t-shirts, denim shorts and Hey Dudes. There is some line dancing here, but mostly basic, easy level dances that an experienced dancer could pick up quickly. They did the electric slide for 7 straight songs to give you an idea. Not a lot of partner dancing. Good dance floor. The music was more like club music when I first arrived until the DJ left the booth and changed over to a traditional country playlist for 40 minutes which was my favorite part of the night. They did have a second room that was more of a night club room so I wish they'd have played more country in the line dancing room. Bartenders were helpful and quick, but security was a bit aggressive and demanding while patting down guests with a metal detector. $10 cover at door. Overall decent stop while passing through town. I'd recommend it for 2 hours tops, but not a destination you'd want to spend your whole night at.

Very fun line dancing bar that replaced boots n buckles. The place is huge but doesn't get super busy. Mainly townies and college students go here but everyone is pretty friendly. It's fun to learn the line dance moves and someone is almost always willing to teach. There are two sides of the building, one side is line dancing the other side is a smaller area where they play hip-hop and rap. They have special events like bands and stuff on different nights. Their fb page had the info. The bartenders are super nice and they have tones of special during the week on drinks. The actually have ladies who sit in the bathroom and sell things like perfume, tampons/pads and even candy which is pretty cool and classy. They also have a bull that's $5 to see how long you can ride (pretty popular) Very casually place though. You could go and sit and have a drink. It's 18 and up but don't worry about being hassled by the young ones, it's the older townies you gotta look out for lol. Come dressed somewhat down! And if you've got boots, definitely bring em!

The drinks are okay but there's one bartender who is very rude. Music is good for line dancing

Line dancing was fun. Will say if you don't like drama leave earlier rather than later.

Not sure they even play country music. They didn't when we were there. Free line dancing lessons were fun. Good drink specials.

Me and the fiancé recently moved down to Lakeland after living up in Zephyrhills. We were looking…read morefor a new bar to hang out at that was close to the apartments so we could walk home instead of taking a Lyft. Our overall visit was fun! Food: The food was really good, it did take some time to come out which is perfectly fine. I had the steamed shrimp (1/2 lb) while the fiancé had one of their burgers. The shrimp came with a cup of seasoning and cup of butter. I wish there was more butter if anything but the shrimp came out perfectly steamed with seasoning on top. I feel that the seasoning should be on both sides of the shrimp but it was still pretty good. The burger also came out really good, cooked how my fiancé wanted it. The cook(s) did great on the food. Drinks: From many different mixed drinks to a variety of taps to choose from! One of the bar tenders was amazing and had my fiancé try the Kona. My fiancé thought he wouldn't like it but ended up ordering another drink. My drinks came out fantastic, I was already drunk by the 3rd lol. Service: Outstanding, the tender was very patient and very informative about the menu. He talked to my fiancé like he was one of his buddies. I wish remembered his name. Ambiance: there's an outdoor and indoor seating. Sometimes live music plays outside while the inside has a juke box. Typical tvs everywhere playing different sports. It is definitely a sports bar! There's also an arcade close by which is awesome.

Awesome food place was poppin and chill vibe Service was good. Food was above standard bar fareread more

Amazing Bison Burger!!!…read more Brady was our server, super polite and great manners. Thank you, we will be back! :)

Recommended for quick service, inventive burgers, and a nice tap line…read more First visit, we had Hannah for service, actually brilliant. It wasn't busy, but it is a bit loud, a fun loud. It's very much open inside; there is outside seating. The FoMoCo decor is inventive and unique. The menu sports clever burger designs named for notable locals, I thought it was a nice nod. The AC was acting up; by the end of the meal we were a little moist. I'm sure it's probably already fixed. The restroom was clean, with interesting decor, worth a look. We started with two drafts and a starter order of onion rings. Beers & water arrived promptly, the onion rings shortly after. The onion rings came stacked on an oil funnel, good app-sized sharable portion, good flavor and tasted fresh. The rings came with a ketchup and a ranch sauce portion cup. Maybe try something different with the sauce, like a remoulade or whipped cherry pepper in mayonnaise. My wife was pleased with her ahi tuna bowl. I liked my veggie patty (Green Clean), but with the avocado it became a bit of a mess to eat. The included French fries are essentially perfect. We bought a take out sandwich, burnt ends on toast, it turned out to be great and a nice option. Three full meals, the app & two drafts came to about $85. The onion rings aren't a great value, we'll try something more interesting next time.. Draft prices seem ok; I'd bet there are, but didn't notice, drink specials on the bar menu. Hannah was the bright face of a well-functioning team. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and we wouldn't mind coming back. Ford's looks very competitive in this business.
