    Dress code

Avid line dancers review: Age group is late 20s to early 40s. Really nice you don't have a bunch of drunk young people crowding the floor. Crowd is pretty chill, not very hyped. Wasn't very busy when I got there at 11:30pm. Busiest part of the night was between 11:45pm-1:15am. Dress code is strict for the men, but given the area its needed to keep up the country vibes and not get lost in an urban crowd. Fashion for women is pretty casual. Not a lot of sexy skimpy clothing you'd find in a younger crowd. More t-shirts, denim shorts and Hey Dudes. There is some line dancing here, but mostly basic, easy level dances that an experienced dancer could pick up quickly. They did the electric slide for 7 straight songs to give you an idea. Not a lot of partner dancing. Good dance floor. The music was more like club music when I first arrived until the DJ left the booth and changed over to a traditional country playlist for 40 minutes which was my favorite part of the night. They did have a second room that was more of a night club room so I wish they'd have played more country in the line dancing room. Bartenders were helpful and quick, but security was a bit aggressive and demanding while patting down guests with a metal detector. $10 cover at door. Overall decent stop while passing through town. I'd recommend it for 2 hours tops, but not a destination you'd want to spend your whole night at.

Very fun line dancing bar that replaced boots n buckles. The place is huge but doesn't get super busy. Mainly townies and college students go here but everyone is pretty friendly. It's fun to learn the line dance moves and someone is almost always willing to teach. There are two sides of the building, one side is line dancing the other side is a smaller area where they play hip-hop and rap. They have special events like bands and stuff on different nights. Their fb page had the info. The bartenders are super nice and they have tones of special during the week on drinks. The actually have ladies who sit in the bathroom and sell things like perfume, tampons/pads and even candy which is pretty cool and classy. They also have a bull that's $5 to see how long you can ride (pretty popular) Very casually place though. You could go and sit and have a drink. It's 18 and up but don't worry about being hassled by the young ones, it's the older townies you gotta look out for lol. Come dressed somewhat down! And if you've got boots, definitely bring em!

The drinks are okay but there's one bartender who is very rude. Music is good for line dancing

Line dancing was fun. Will say if you don't like drama leave earlier rather than later.

Not sure they even play country music. They didn't when we were there. Free line dancing lessons were fun. Good drink specials.

This is a fun, and very crowded dance hall! I came in from out of town, and we had fun, dancing,…read moreand watching the dance as we are not familiar with. There was a good mix of couples dancing, and line dances. A bit heavier on the line dances, and a lot more of the clientele got onto the floor for these. There were quite a few good intermediate dances. The couples dancing was a bit more sparse, but there were several couples who were very fun to watch! Being from Nebraska, we were not familiar with many of the songs. We did get out on the floor to do a couple that we know, and one of these was a different version, but there were a few others dancing the version we knew in a corner of the dance floor. Overall, a fun spot for a country dance night! There is not much seating, so you can expect to stand if you come late in the night.

Unfortunately we came here for a special event, Country EDM night. When we arrived at the scheduled…read morestart time of the event, 9pm, there was no EDM music in sight. A few people were even dressed more for EDM and as the night progressed they left. Instead a live artist came on and began to sing with his guitar. (On a side note he was very good) There was no mention of a cancellation of the EDM artist but I can only imagine that was what happened, sometime in the middle of his set he did mention "since this was supposed to be EDM night" and then played a song (still not EDM). For this reason the venue loses some credit with me. I'm my opinion it should get a 3.5 but since that's not a thing I rounded up to be generous. Now for my main review without the EDM fact: The drinks are fair enough prices, around $13 and they are strong. The bar service was very nice and all staff including security were friendly and even hit the dance floor a few times. The inside is super cool themed and a nice spot. Pool tables, darts, a nice bar, a dance floor and stage are all in the main area. Overall an excellent place to hangout and hear country music. The male bathrooms were a little awkward (most toilets with no stall doors??) but most of the small quirks can be overlooked. I would recommend coming here with a slight caveat, if you are coming for a specific event or themed night, don't get married to the idea. It might change or not meet expectations without any notice.

There were a lot more line dances than what I'm used to seeing in Nebraska bars, with just a few couples dancing on the perimeter. Most of the line dances were about a medium level, with some harder and some easier ones mixed in. It was clear that this place is packed with regulars, since every single song had an absolutely packed dance floor! There is very limited seating here, almost everyone stands around the dance floor. They are not on it. We were able to find a table when a couple left, and set our drinks here. During the couple hours we were here, another group joined our table, asking if they could use our chairs and some of the space. I walked around this bar for a minute, and noticed that they also have karaoke in the back room! This location is much bigger than I expected, although the dance floor itself is not very large. I would definitely come back to this spot if I find myself here again! Although I didn't know many of the dances, having learned most of what I know from Nebraska, it was still a great time, and a good vibe for country dancing.
