I've been a couple of times with coworkers and the atmosphere is always relaxed and chill, which is what was needed after long work days. I've tried the mule and definitely recommend it with extra ginger. I had them add a ginger syrup from another drink to mine, definitely gave it the kick it needed. I've tried a few other drinks as well. Can safely say they can make you basically anything the way you want it. Never had a bad tasting drink there. Overall, recommend this place if you're wanting to not be super crowded and just relax with a nice drink. Do be patient as they aren't making quick dive bar drinks. They are crafting the cocktails. On my 2nd visit to Revival, came during happy hour which is Monday - Friday from 1pm to 7pm. There are a lot of happy hours in there. During happy hour drinks are $6 or $8 for classics or revival favorites. The drinks here are top notch and the atmosphere is iconic. And did I mention, this is in Lakeland Florida. This bar could be transported to Miami, Orlando or Ft Lauderdale and would be Uber popular. The service is awesome and the bartenders here are well trained because they make the drinks effortlessly. Love the overall vibe here. Makes me want to move closer because who doesnt want a happy hour from 1-7pm on the weekdays. The drinks here can paint a smile on anyone. So very good! Revival is my FAVORITE bar/ speak easy spot in Lakeland, hands down. It's such a vibe and has been a super cool and ahead of its time spot for many years now. It feels like a speakeasy inside, but it's not quite as mysterious as most are. You enter in the front door after checking with the bouncer outside. The drinks here are gourmet, there's no other way to say it. They have an extensive and unique list of options, but they can also make pretty much anything you ask for. The last time I was there I had a lavender blueberry moscow mule, of which I had asked the bartender if I could have a flavored mule and that was his suggestion. There's a decent amount of seating here but the place gets pretty busy. The one thing I can knock them in is they have really slow service. The bartenders work so hard on each drink that even if there's a few dozen people there it takes time to order and then get your drink. In addition to fun and interesting drinks, Revival's aesthetic is perf. I love the dim lights, book wall, greenery and overall low key chic vibe. Service was also very good. They have a TON of drinks to choose from and most of them are super interesting sounding, most of the drinks I sampled were really tasty. I stopped by Revival on a Saturday afternoon while visiting Lakeland. I am very happy I did as it was some of the best cocktails I have had in a long time. I visited on Saturday shortly after they opened. I had the bar to myself and the bartender was super friendly. I looked over their menu and decided to start with the rum old fashioned. I am not usually an old fashioned fan, but the drink she made me was incredible. The brown butter fat washed old fashioned really surprised me. It was outstanding. I sampled around the menu and had a few more great cocktails before I left. Everything was quite tasty. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Revival. The drinks and service were top notch. The cocktails are impressively good! I had a special drink, the "High Roller Old Fashioned" (named apparently for its $20 price. But being from New York, I have paid more for worse and been proud of it). It is a wagyu fatwashed bourbon with rosemary bitters. Basically a steakhouse in a crystal tumbler. It was full bodied, smooth and worth every penny. My wife had the Matcha On My Mind, which nailed the perfect balance of sweet and citrusy to compliment the nutty and earthy matcha. It was frothy deliciousness. Ordering was a little unusual. There was no table service offered the night I went. But unlike most bars, where everyone Travis Scott pushes to the front and competes for the bartenders' attention, patrons formed a (mostly) orderly line. It was crowded, so the process took about 30 minutes, but the reward at the end was well worth the wait. read more

I love Revival. End of discussion. I honestly think this is the most elegant, put together, and vibey bar in Lakeland. The drinks could be considered more on the expensive side, but they are handled with care and there is a variety to choose from. The mixologist's here are one of the best and I love that they take their time to care for their customers needs... I don't ever feel rushed when ordering or that I'm putting an extra weight on their shoulders when asking questions. I have been here multiple times and it never fails to disappoint me. Upon entry, I was impressed by the modern and somewhat eclectic interior, with a floor to ceiling bookcase, retro chairs, art, and a large chalk menu board. There is a large, handsome bar and a variety of different seating areas. The menu and pricing was fairly typical of a craft cocktail bar, also offering some unique renditions of traditional favorites like the duck fat old fashioned. The drinks are always mixed well by the very experienced bar tenders who are always willing to make a drink suggestion or find something you like. The ordering and paying the tab process is awful. Long line to order and pay. Rude staff. Feels like they wish they had no customers so they can gossip. But it's the owner that results in the 1 star. He's an arrogant, pompous child. He is clearly why the staff cares not about the customers. It starts at the top. When I spoke to the owner about the temperature (it was hot inside) and that his bouncer employee had told me the power had been out; he called me a liar for my google review. Then after he spoke to his employee to confirm I had been honest this owner child STILL tried to rationalize the situation.
