This place was a fun find for me. I just happen to have a few days where I was driving past this place. I looked online to see what type of products they carry. After that I was convinced that I should stop in and take a peak...it was a bit of a challenge during the weak as they close at 6 p.m. I arrived with 10 mins to spare. It is a small shop located on the corner of the building. It looks like they attempted to carry a small variety of items from varios Florida farms and suplliers. I recognized the farms from which the meats and milk are sourced. Since I already had an idea of the item that I wanted, 10 minutes was enough time to take a quick look around and make my purchase. There is a good chance that I may come here a few times per year. If you're looking for items that may be labeled as healthy or local or natural or yoy are just curious, it is probably worth your time to stop in. You may be able to find free parking on the streets and there is a gravel parking lot located behind the building. read more

Wish I lived closer, but it worth the drive for my bi-weekly milk run. While I'm there I always grab my fav Kit- Fat bombs! Both regular and vanilla are my favs. And if late the healthy candy bars. Snickers is my favorite. Other than that great choices in the other foods have not tried the coffee bags yet but most likely in the next trip. They have plenty of meats from lake meadows naturals which I actually live next to. If I didn't I would definitely buy from here. Wild Hare is a GEM located in historic Longwood. It's right by my office so I frequently walk there for a quick bite if I'm in the area. They are stocked with 100% local meats and veggies. It's like going to a farmers market, but they're open every day! Other than meats and veggies, there's a literal cornucopia of items including, but not limited to, CBD, organic honey, coffee, vitamins and lots of things I've never even heard of. That brings me to this point, Sheryl, the owner, and the staff are SO knowledgeable and are quick to give suggestions on not only foods but also how to grow them. They're always blowing my mind! What a gem! This market was so cute and with convenient street parking. I got raw milk (they gave goats milk and cows milk), a DELICIOUS local and naturally made coffee caramel sauce, local kombucha on tap, and a phenomenal house-made raspberry pastry! They had fresh and local raw dairy products, oils, teas, meats, lions mane mushrooms which are so hard to find locally, kombucha, bone broth, as well as a whole bunch of other great products. Jeannine was beyond helpful and kind in answering any of my questions, talking with me as a new member to the community, and suggesting her favorite local products both in store and in other local locations! Such a cute little gem of a shop and so glad we finally decided to stop by and check it out. I have only been once but I know it will be more a frequent shop for us from now on. I grabbed a few items here including some food made fresh by the owner and it was super delicious! They have fresh ghee here and it's wonderful and flavorful! My husband tried the kombucha (not my thing) and it said it was actually pretty good. We also bought a local made candle and scouted out some purchases for our next visit. Just visited the other day with my husband and WOW!!! Let me tell you the amount of freshness filling the shop was magnificent. There's raw honey, milk and butter (no cream unfortunately but maybe soon!) they even had lions mane which was nice consider the memory issues in our family. The lions mane wasn't the freshest but we took it home and dehydrated it and now have a great powder! (They have powder too at the shop) honestly very nice. read more

What a great little market. Love love love the zero waste atmosphere. Almost everything is in glass mason jars or glass bottles which I love. I had to stop when I saw the kombucha on tap sign. I love fresh seasonal Kombucha and trying new flavors. They had so many fresh amazing products. I've passed but this place twice a day every day since February, when my office move to Lake Mary, and every day I tell myself I need to stop in. Well, I finally have and was so glad I did! They had a wide array of vegetables, several different varieties of fresh eggs and milk products, and lots of interesting pantry products. Their honey was absolutely delicious and I bought a jar that I swear will last me a lifetime. Lol! They didn't have much beef the day I was there, at least they didn't have any of the cuts I was looking for, but I will definitely ask what they have each time I go. We don't usually stop by this place but every time we have, we've always left with one of their goodies. I love how natural, fresh and eco-friendly everything is. This time we left with a yummy raspberry tart, a jar of honey and reusable tea bags. It's a little pricey compared to large company grocery stores like Target or Wal-Mart, but I'm more than willing to pay that for the high quality of their products. Also a huge fan of the kombucha sampling station since I don't usually see people give free kombucha samples. Really helps decide what flavor we'll like! read more

All I can say is... WOW. If you're at all looking to deviate from the typical unhealthy American diet, this is a place you MUST go! Not only is the place FULL of really incredible, tasty, organic and locally-sourced foods, the owner, Cheryl, is one of the most loving, sincere, down-to-earth people I have ever met. While I was in her store I saw her greet a number of her regular customers as if they were people she had known all her life. With everything organic, Wild Hare is definitely a spot to check out. Most of the produce is stored to be kept fresh, with things like tomatoes and onions out in baskets. The pricing is pretty normal for oganic. They have a little bit of everything, from meat and veggies, to organic honey, coffee, pickles, cat and dog treats, and even cosmetic masks. The store also has some cute antiques. Make sure you have a decent bit of time to go however... The lady who was working there, although nice, was uncomfortably talkative. Unfortunately, there's no way I could personally shop there only - there's just only so much they carry at a time. But for decliously green kale and living lettuce, chard, or the most tangy and amazing tomatoes I've ever tasted, I definitely suggest at least checking it out. read more

One of the few places around where you can find raw milk, butter, and yogurt. This is only a sample of the items they carry. You're always going to find something new. Prices are alright. Originally I'd given this store 5 stars and a rave review. I visited weekly to purchase raw milk, shot of wheat grass and range free eggs. Been going there bit over a month and my last visit was perplexed to find all the gallons of raw milk were all reserved (about 10) they had half gallons but those are $7 so why would I buy that when I could get a full gallon for $3 more? So needless to say I left without even an apology for the inconvenience. Thing is, I was never given the option to have items reserved, so seems they are into catering to select customers which screams: "we don't want your money" to me. So glad things are going that well for them they can do that. For me it means seek elsewhere. The customer service is hit or miss anyway depending on who's there. You can get all organic local produce, grass-fed beef, local honey, fun jams, collectibles, and more. The greens are incredible- nothing like you would find in the grocery store. That's because Cheryl gets them from the Farmers herself, and many times she is in the field picking with them! If you have a special request, or question, you can even call her cell phone... I had driven past this cute little store a hundred times on the corner of 427 and Church st. Always wanted to stop but just never did. Until I met the employees at the Lake Mary farmers market on a Saturday morning. Her tomato sample took me right back to my childhood in West Virginia when I would get into trouble for taking my moms tomatoes off the vine and eating them. Lol. I buy my Duck eggs from her, amazing for baking! Quail, goose and chicken eggs too! All of my produce is through them. The store is small, nicely so. It's clean, the staff is knowledgable, everything is local, incredibly fresh, samples provided, suggestions and encouragement to try new things and how best to do it. Prices are very reasonable since they do all of the work for me! They carry a good variety, from eggs, fruits and veggies, to local meats, homemade pickles to organic beauty care items! If she doesn't have it, she can tell you where to get it or will offer to get it and call when she has secured it. Give her a try, support numerous local business, hers and all of her suppliers, in one place. Only old negative is that parking is sparse due to her location but she is right in front of the longwood sun-rail stop! You won't be disappointed! read more
