This place is a hidden gem. Not only is the food delicious, my husband and I had the Brisket Sandwich with MacNCheese, but also the owners and workers are so friendly! There's plenty of good snacks and jams to browse, along with their full menu and plenty of drink options. There's also a full orange grove you can walk and chickens to feed! We will definitely be back!

This is a neat little place that I noticed on a one of few of my drives to Sanford. The "fresh eggs" sign always caught my eye. However, to be honest I must have driven past it five or six times before I finally decided to stop in. They have a several cages of chickens out back and you can go out there and observe them which I think is pretty cool. You can see that the chickens are privy to fresh air, sunshine and are not overcrowded. It's not often that we actually get to see where our food comes from. The price is about what the cost for store bought organic eggs - $4.50/dozen. I think that I also saw a couple rabbit cages as well. I didn't have the nerve to confirm what they do with the rabbits. They are so make fresh squeezed orange juice and I believe grapefruit juice. I actually watched the guy taking the bags of oranges out to the area where they have the juicer, run them through machine, package it and then bring it up front and put it in the cooler. Now that's fresh juice! Inside you'll find that they also have a small ice cream stand which I have not tried yet and they sell pies. I have seen the key lime pie but also have not tried it yet. It is next on my list of things to try. They also make barbecue sandwiches in addition to a few other items on their short menu. I have had the barbecue brisket sandwich and this is good enough to have again. I did think that for the size of the bun it could have used a little bit more meat. Perhaps it was just the time of day, just after a big rush, so maybe supplies were low. They also carry a random assortment of things like local honey and some candies. If you like little local places like this, it is definitely worth checking out.

Tucked away on the side of the road is a sweet ole store with literally sweet thangs such as honey! I love the set up they have and how spacious it is, along with the little bags of corn kernals you can feed to the chickens in the back for .50! Their produce and products they have never fails, never spoiled or rotten, always fresh. I wish the north had some of this up there, but what got me the most was their hospitality. I always thought the south was filled with arrogant peeps that were narrow minded, but that's everywhere. These people are truly precious loving earth and caring people!!

BBQ sides (smoked scalloped potatoes) atmosphere (outside under giant Oak trees). Just down right good for the soul (and health, easy social distancing!) do yourself a favor, get out of the house, and make this your quarantine lunch spot

Outdoor eating spot!

I love chicks and here you can feed chickens so you know I love it. Good fresh produce, great fudge, great ice cream, delicious barbecue. What more could you want? Also check out the rabbits. You can't feed them but they're cute too. Give this place 5 stars! Boom!

My husband and I were visiting Florida and just wanted a quick place for photos. The guy behind the counter let us have free reign of the little grove behind the shop. It was so fun! The trees aren't very big but it was still a fun experience. They had other crops out back, some chickens and turkeys, and a a cute cat! They had so much in the little shop too. We didn't check it out too much but it was a fun stop for us. Be careful for fire ants!

Ask the Community - Red Hill Groves-White's

Looking for a cute spot for a day trip with my kiddos (we are new to Florida) I'm a beginner photographer so I'd like to bring my camera. Would this be a good spot for some photo ops in the groves? Thank you!

There are no groves there.

I've been shopping at this location off and on for a few years now. Every time I leave the store I…read morehave a feeling that I'd just been slightly shunned. Having worked retail for over 40 years, I make a point to always be pleasant to the cashiers. For some odd reason, the employees working the registers at this store don't speak. This morning the bias was quite obvious. I said 'Good Morning', handed my recyclable bag to the woman on the register, I only had two items, so it was a quick transaction. Not only did I not get a 'good morning' back, my items were left for me to bag. I find it ODD that the hispanic gentleman behind me got a warm welcome, but for whatever reason, I did not. I don't like to use the term 'discrimination' but that seems to be a common practice at this store if you're a different race. I won't be shopping there again. There are plenty of other friendly stores in the area!

Having 'knocked off' their locations in Longwood and Altamonte Springs (reviewing, not robbing), I…read morewas surprised to even find out they had this OTHER location (only later did I discover they have several MORE). This is in the old Albertson space that's shared with L.A. Fitness. Parking is convenient and available. It's about the same size as Altamonte, perhaps a touch smaller. Yes they have meats here too (unlike the smaller Longwood store), but about the only meat I've purchased is beef shank, since they look OK and are a bit more reasonably-priced than grocery stores. This location also has a few more ethnic choices (other than Hispanic): you can get king mushrooms here, for instance. The only thing that I don't like is the check-out lines, which feel more cramped. I've only visited during non-peak hours; I can't imagine how chaotic it could get when they're busy!

I just love that the neighborhood I just moved into has a nearby farmers market in which I could…read moredrive and be there in 2 minutes or ride my bike and be there a little bit later. There is a mix of food and beverage, vendors, arts, benders health and wellness vendors. Would I really like is how friendly a lot of the vendors are. And that they work together. For example, hoots and Mary bread actually promotes the Sanford cheese stand. And vice versa. While this farmers market is very small, it still provides for the things that I could use at home. They do have a vegetable and fruit spender that has reasonably priced vegetables such as $5, a bowl for potatoes, the tomatillas, onions, squashes, and so much other things. Amount of samples for the fruit so you can try before you buy. They've got a plethora of Chili's to spice up your food. Plus this farmers market is inside of a park next to the fire station and across the street from the police station. So I've never felt more safe going to a farmers market in my life. Definitely one of the farmers markets. I'll be venturing to more frequently.

I love checking out and supporting local shops and markets…read more This is a little farmers outlet has plenty of fresh produce and a surprisingly good selection of Asian groceries and frozen goods. It's a little pricey, but the produce is all local, so the slight price difference is for a good cause! The cashier was friendly and made pleasant conversation about the products. I can see the appeal of this spot!
