    Cool fireplace in main lodge.

Super cute B&B. We upgraded from a Living Social Deal to a dog friendly cabin. The extra cost was worth it for us for us to have our first family trip with the fur babies. We arrived late so the front desk left a detailed letter with instruction for us to get settled into our cabin. We unloaded in our Saddleback (?) cabin then came out to the jacuzzi in the back of the main cabin. It's really cool being surrounded by snow while sitting in a hot tub. Breakfast in the morning was a baked frittata with some potatoes. Delicious meal. Adequate portion. We really got to appreciate the beautiful lumbar in the main cabin! Such a gorgeous structure. John, the owner, came out and greeted everyone and introduced himself. Cool guy. Donna (?) at the front desk gave us a thorough and detailed suggestions for outing possibilities in the area. Super nice lady. I bought some handmade wool gloves made by a local lady then we headed out for a stroll around a local trail. It was beautiful. We wanted a hike but it had snowed the night before so we really enjoyed Donna's suggestion of the walk on the trail. We came back and enjoyed the jetted tub in our private cabin. Awesome sized tub that was perfect for the two of us. Have I mentioned the unique decor? Horse themed, of course, and very rustic. This was a very romantic getaway. Regardless of the fact that we both came down with a really bad cold. Not the fault of the cabin though. The stove fireplace keeps the whole cabin piping!

You can not find a better B&B in the valley!!! We stayed here for our Honeymoon, we rented a cabin on the property. Wow how beautiful, surrounded by wildflowers and beautiful views!! When we arrived we were greeted by the owners and they were friendly and sweet and gave us a bottle of bubbly to start the celebration off right. The food was amazing during our stay, John the owner is an AMAZING cook!! His omelet was like nothing I have ever tasted! So good, fresh and fluffy!! The service was great, complementary wine and coffee, a wonderful library with and take a book leave a book style. It was the best getaway we had. Plus if you have an event to attend at the Devils Thumb Ranch I suggest you stay here, just a short 2 minuet drive, and better accommodations. Also you can't beat that it cost less :)

Hot tea + bottomless cookies + fireplace = perfection

The experience that my fiancé and I had at our first ever BnB was incredible and I have to say that it is hard to rate it with just words and stars. I do want to add that this is one of the only reviews I've written where I would LOVE to give it 6 stars, but that goes to Bella, their wonderful, sweet, lovable dog!! We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend, which I assume is their off season, plus having the worst weather in 58 years doesn't help tourism too much. Anyway, there was one other couple there, who had a bedroom downstairs, while we stayed in the upstairs room called "Strawberry Creek". Our balcony faced the mountains, and waking up to a sunrise from the mountains is a perfect way to start every morning. The room has a comfy king size bed and a very nice private bathroom. Aside from the incredible hospitality, beautiful views, peace and serenity, I'd have to say that it was one of the cleanest houses I've ever been in. The breakfasts made by John (the owner) were absolutely amazing and fulfilling. They made sure to keep their bottomless cookie jar stacked with great cookies and there was always hot water for your choice of various teas and hot chocolate. The living room was stacked with a variety of books and the upstairs hallway had a huge selection of dvd's (and tapes) to pick from to watch privately in your own room. This was a very nice factor as they did not have any cable or local channels to scroll through. Overall, this was a fantastic two days of our trip and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. it will be hard to stay in other BnB's as we will always compare them to the wonderful Wild Horse Inn.

Double rainbow on our wedding day!

My wife and I had our wedding at Wild Horse Inn on August 9, 2014. We stumbled across the B&B over a year beforehand, and knew it was our ultimate wedding venue. The beautiful scenery, excellent staff, and comfortable accommodations fit the bill for our 75-guest wedding. One of our favorite parts about Wild Horse Inn is how personalized and intimate the space is. We booked the entire Inn for 2 nights, so it was only our family and friends the whole weekend. Any request we had, Donna, Chris, and John were more than willing to accommodate. Their sweet dog, Bella, greeted everyone with a bark and tail wagging. Breakfast was delicious and specific to the various dietary needs of our group. Wild Horse Catering is also amazing! The dinner they served was the best meal I've had in a long time, and that wasn't just the post-ceremony hunger/adrenaline. Thanks for making our wedding spectacular!

    Warm the next....

Nothing less than a five star review would be fair. It's definitely a great place to stay. The building is exquisite, the rooms are well appointed, and the staff is eager to please. They have really good internet, a vast library of books to enjoy, 100-150 movies available to watch, comfortable chairs and sofas in the great room in front of the fireplace, snow shoes to borrow, breakfast prepared for you every morning. Donna was great for advice for places to hike/ski/dine, the list goes on. The only issues we encountered were thin bedroom walls.... we had a movie on and had it turned down and our neighbors still knocked on the door and asked us to turn it down more. After we turned the movie off, we heard everything they were doing...while entertaining, it was awkward to see them at breakfast the next morning, (the movie would have been better). Also, coffee...brewed coffee is only available after 7 AM, when it's gone, it's gone...but instant coffee is available for the rest of the day and into the evening...(UGH). They should at least get a Keurig and provide a few K-cups for the afternoon and evening, otherwise you have to drive the 7-8 miles into town for a decent cup of coffee. Despite the minor issues, we would still recommend to our friends and would consider returning for future visits.

We had looked for a hotel in the area but none had great reviews, so we hunted for a BnB. Luckily we found Aspen Hollow, such a nice place to stay. We arrived and were greeted by Marilyn, shown a great and comfortable room, and were treated to a couple glasses of wine before we turned in. This place has a lot to offer, there is a recreational space with hot tub, sauna and big screen tv with tons of movies, as well as a separate great room for peaceful relaxation as it overlooks the valley of Granby and has a huge fireplace that must be amazing in the winter. We got up in the morning to coffee waiting for us, and a delicious breakfast, fresh fruit, powdered sugar french toast and sausage. I am so glad we stayed here. I was hesitant at first because there wasn't a lot of info about this place but it turned out to be a great decision. We will be going back for sure. A couple of things I will say that were unique about this place that really struck me as fantastic and unusual. First, the quality of the building is pretty high, the floors are tile and heated, so in the great room on the mail floor your feet are warmly greeted in the morning for breakfast. Another thing I noticed is there are a lot of quality in the details. The bed was extremely comfortable, the linens were top notch. Many times when staying in places such as these, and others like vbro or airbnb you find that people just want to make a buck without giving a quality overall experience. Many times you find that people cheap out, and this place does not. The level of quality is very high, so high that despite not having family or anything in Granby, we will likely go back to just relax for a few days because it was such a good experience. I would recommend checking this place out.

I found fireside online and it was by far the most affordable option in Breckenridge for a single night so I went for it in a two person dorm, and luckily I happened to be the only one in that room that night! The room was definitely snug but it was cozy and very comfortable and I slept very well. Finding the place was also very easy, they provide very clear instructions and there is plenty of parking at the church across the street (just mind their specific parking instructions and you won't have any trouble). Re: the interior: it's actually a very large place with two full baths and one half bath. I never even saw/heard another guest when I came but again it was late. The vibe was that it was a very comfy, chill place - they have soothing music playing over by the office door where the coffee/tea machines are, and there is a small kitchen and living room area. They had a real fire going in the living room area and there were games and books and lots of "things to do" brochures around, so truly it felt like being in a cozy cabin. I genuinely really loved that vibe. Not to mention it's quite close to the main road - you could easily walk but because it was raining heavily the night I came, I did drive all of 3 minutes to avoid walking 15 in the rain to the bar on Main Street I wanted to go to. They also sent me a text when i came in case i had questions, so they are available to help you. Overall - if you're coming and staying here for just a night or two and all you need is a bed/shower/safe space, this place is GREAT. Admittedly the rooms aren't big (at least mine wasn't), but again as a solo traveler it was fine. Would def rec to friends :)

The lamp and clock on the chipped and stained nightstand were completely crooked which was odd. We thought for a moment that we walked into the wrong room. This $300 stay was in a room that can be seen at a $120 La Quinta Inn. I travel for a living and am in roughly 30+ hotels a year. I was thankful though that the bed and pillows were comfortable enough to sleep well in. The towels are rough and cheap or old maybe? The bathroom counter needed repair. Just overall not good. Upon first arrival to the inn we walked in to be greeted by one in tact and one half eaten small muffin on the food bar which I guess was the snack offering as it was on a little service dish not an individuals plate. Super uninviting. The parking was great though and appreciated. We did enjoy the Great Room a little while during our stay which was cozy. When we got back from our dinner on Friday evening just before 9pm we wanted a cup of hot tea for bed and there was no longer any hot water on the beverage bar. What a disappointment. I will also say the tea choices were worse than that at a Hampton Inn. Very basic and not even close to even what a mid level hotel offers. The breakfast was nice. Quiche looked amazing but by the time we came down to eat at 9:45 which I understand is 15 minutes before it ended - the warmer was off and the quiche was cold. We did grab a muffin which tasted like it was from Safeway or Costco but it helped as we were hungry. Instead we had to eat a light bite across the street at the cafe. Another disappointment. Overall what could and should have been a really special experience felt like a run down room with a mediocre breakfast experience. I came with my adult daughter to celebrate her 26th birthday and I have to be honest and say that I felt terrible that I chose this inn. We made the best of it and really enjoyed our time together just the same because after all that is what mattered most.

C'mon, folks. The pros: The staff are nice (and who really cares if a staff member is a little high, this is Colorado, per the other review--Bradley is a super nice guy and I never saw him stoned during my nearly one week stay) The breakfast is lovely--fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, baked goods, and quiche--along with coffee, tea, etc. If it's your thing, you can have drinks around 5pm with some snacks Prime location in downtown Boulder with parking Lovely great room and office area The cons: Yes, the rooms are somewhat dated--I stayed in two different rooms, and one had some really worn carpet--but they're clean You can experience a decent amouont of road noise on the first floor, and I didn't have luck getting help with my suitcase up to the second floor (and I had a sprained shoulder, but it was manageable) They have wifi and now cable (along with DVD players, though I had to have them replace the DVD player) but no smart TVs if you are obsessed with that Overall, I'd stay here again...and I'm PICKY.

This isn't a super nice or updated space, but we had everything we needed for our mixed bag of early 30s friends. My friends and I stayed in the Stone St. cottage, which is heavily Grateful Dead/psychedelic/ classic rock themed. The room is listed as sleeping 3, which we did on night one, but easily slept 4 on night 2. The grounds were so charming and eclectic. The cottage we were in was a little wonky and slanted on the floor, but the rooms were clean, the shower worked great and we had more than what we needed. We checked in super late in the darkness so we didn't get to experience a normal front desk check in, which I'm sure would brief us on procedures like pre-ordering breakfast the night before, but the staff was so accommodating when we showed up hungry and ordered bacon, eggs and potatoes in the AM. Mary was the cook and she was rad, quick witted and whipped up a lovely home cooked breakfast. There are 2 dogs (that we met) on site names Shokti (gorg white husky queen) and Mr. Dog (precious, hilarious chihuahua businessman) and we loved to pet and visit with them while in the main lodge. That space is incredible: kitschy, eclectic, trippy and warm, just like our whole stay! I could go on forever about how adult-summer-camp-esque the grounds were! Every cottage is themed, though we only entered ours. The covered hot tub was a crucial touch for our group in the crisp 50 degree weather to take a morning dip and unwind after the show. I'm unsure if all cottages come with hot tubs so definitely confirm if that's something you're interested in. The walkability to all the necessities and some breweries/ eateries was appealing when we had time to kill. Cliff House offers a shuttle to and from Red Rocks for a fixed price per rider. The shuttle to the venue leaves 15 minutes prior to doors which was a little late for us, so we opted to take the shuttle back and it was a highlight of the trip. Brook's organized the shuttle, sent us incredibly detailed instructions on where/ how to find her in a short, yellow school bus. I especially appreciate the details because we had been drinking etc and needed the depth of care taken to make sure we found her! The bus was stocked with beverages and we played music and just bopped down the hill, laughing our butts off. This was such a fun stay for us and it was thanks to the grounds, location, home cooked breakfast and tea in the lodge, Mary, Brooks, Shokti and Mr. Dog. I will recommend to anyone I know traveling that way!

The living room came equipped with a large screen and projector along with a huge variety of DVDs. The space was equipped with a mini-refrigerator, toaster oven, and sink. We spent most of our time indoors with a few trips to nearby towns to explore a bit and eat. A microwave or hot plate was really the only thing we missed. The water didn't get quite hot enough for the coffee we made using the French Press and there were a few other things we wanted to heat up that didn't work out well in a toaster oven. We didn't partake in the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The sauna and steam shower were my favorite amenities. The sauna warmed me up and helped relieve some of the tension and soreness I was carrying around. The steam shower helped me breathe better. The dry air caused havoc with my sinuses, and it was nice to get into the steam shower to help alleviate the dryness. The owner was extremely friendly and invited us to enjoy the hot tub and greenhouse.
