Buckland park has 3 different playgrounds spread out in one big park. One is more suited for toddlers, another for smaller kids (3-5) and then finally another one for bigger kids (5+). So if your kid gets tired of one, they can walk to another one. There are plenty of fields to run around on, fly kites, etc. Seems like there's always some children's baseball going on there. There's also a relatively new and well maintained basketball (4 hoops) and tennis courts (2). A good place to host a child's birthday part. I believe there is some indoor space that can be rented (lodge/ pavilion).

Slides, spinny things, benches, swings, and much much more. The ground is that faux turfy/safe to fall on/bouncy rubber, and was super nice. It was busy on a beautiful weekday, so I can tell this is a hot spot for Webster fams. A great opportunity for kids to socialize in the COVID times - though I think the playground is technically made for kids 2 and up. I look forward to many more trips with my nieces and nephew, and love that this is part of a tucked away park. If you're familiar with the Challenger field, the playground is just beyond it. In addition to standard swings and slides, they have a modern seesaw, ground level spinner ride, egg spinners, and a boat that adults could sit in (making up my own names). The ground feels like a padded mat so easier on the hands and knees for falls. I feel comfortable with my 2 yo running around without major scrapes. There are bathrooms nearby and a covered shelter with picnic tables. That's the only area where there's some shade unfortunately. Parking lot next to the town hall. Fun place for kids and adults!

It is in Penfield right on Five Mile Line road. There is a sign identifying it. It is somewhat hidden from the street so look for the typical "park" sign.

I hadn't been to Sea breeze in maybe 30 years, so it was wild being back this week for the first time since I was a kid, but after even an hour, my kids want to go back. The rides were solid but not spectacular, with no real "thrill" rides but a bunch of above-average bits that got the kids excited. The price was higher than I was expecting for something in Rochester (about $40 per person), but we got our money's worth thanks to getting onto so many rides across a six-hour stay. It's the perfect size that if you bring your family, they can roam and you'll be able to keep and eye on them. The playground is nice. There are grills, and picnic tables, plus enough shade to stay cool. Set up canjam, play frisbee, or even throw together a game of kickball if you have enough people (the park has a baseball field). It's basically the size of one block, but never too crowded. It's tucked in a quiet part of the South Wedge and we always have a great time. A great spot to have a cookout with friends, relax, and enjoy some cold brews under the summer sun.
