We took my 5 year old son here this summer for the first time and he loved it! He was tall enough to go on almost all of the rides. It's awesome that they have a water park that is in included in admission. It is relatively expensive to get in, but we'll be added this to our once a summer list.

A nice small amusement park in Rochester. Don't expect super aggressive rides like the top thrilling ones in Canada's Wonderland or some of the ones like in 6 flags. The rides are more tamer and can be enjoyed more widely for the family. Personally, I prefer my rides to have a bit more thrill and fear factor but I had a great time because there was hardly any wait. They also have a waterpark though we didn't check it out. Best thrill ride would be the Jackrabbit and the Whirlwind. Regular entrance is about $40 usd. However, we were lucky to attend during a special school day where lots of kids and schools were attending that day and performed and rates were like about $10 or so cheaper than what it normally is. Even despite a busier weekday, most rides don't have a wait. At most the wait was 15mins around so that's a definite plus. There's also no queue to get into the park when we came after breakfast. As an adult you can zoom through here in a half a day or even make it a full day out of it and enjoy the waterpark as well. Food wise, options are limited for healthy food and pretty basic, nothing really outstanding. Typical theme park food like fried chicken, burgers, pizza and fries and there is also funnel cake fries and fried dough too.

Best amusement park west of Albany! Free parking! Reasonable admission which includes ALL RIDES! $40.99 Everything is clean, new and in perfect condition. Even on a busy Father's Day weekend, we did not have to wait in line for rides for more than 10 minutes each. We managed to hit all the rides in an afternoon. Make sure to try the Jackrabbit and the Carousel for a bit of time traveling.

Seabreeze is such a Rochester Gem! We went on the last open day, and there was a slight drizzle, but we made the best of it and it was SO worth it! We got to ride every single ride multiple times, and spent a reasonable $50 on lunch for 5 people. There is so much variety. Even my toddler got to ride the teacups, and enjoyed the little toddler park rides! We also rode the train several times! We will keep coming for a long time!

    Fun ride for families!

Seabreeze is an amazing amusement park for families and kids of all ages. It is the perfect size for a fun and stress-free amusement park day. It is easy to park, easy to get through in half of a day, with fun rides for little kids and even adults. Kiddie City is a small space with rides for toddlers/younger kids. The water park was perfect - loved that they had a splash pad at the bottom of each of the big slides, so little ones could play and the older kids or adults could go on the bigger slides while still being in the same space. I was most impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the dedication of the lifeguards. Lots of food options in the park. Highly recommend the park and water park for a day with family.

This place is all nostalgia and fantastic day trip. The park has a policy where you can bring in food if you like but if you want to buy food there are plenty of options. The food is typical theme park food. A little pricey but you don't have to lug your food with you as if you brought it in. The staff are amazing. They are majority young teens but their service is top notch. I had asked for a cup for ice and water and the young man near the water park filled my bottle for me. It was so hot that day and I know for sure that water helped me tremendously. Seabreeze was definitely worth the visit

Seabreeze is open! That's how you know summer in Rochester has begun. One of the saddest things about 2020 was them staying closed all season. They are now open and ready to help you make those warm weather memories! I went last weekend with family and had a great time. Buy tickets in advance online, as they cap the number of people allowed into the park per day. When I got there at 11:30ish, there was already a sign that said no same day tickets were being sold. This is a genius idea to help the park not be too crowded, or lines for rides too long. (Can we keep this business model forever please?) Most of the staff wore masks, and the eating patio tables have been spaced apart. I saw staff members disinfecting some of the smaller kid rides, but not every ride after every rider. Overall, we felt safe, it wasn't overloaded with crowds, and the kids had a blast (so did I) :)

I have been coming to Seabreeze ever since I was a little kid and I was so excited to introduce some of my friends to it! Though it may not be as large as Darien Lake, it can be just as fun, if not more! Seabreeze has a variety of different rides, a water park, an arcade, a gift shop, as well as various small areas to get food. Even when the park is busy, the wait times are not nearly as long as other parks. At night when the ride lights come on, it's so fun to walk around and see the park from a completely different viewpoint. This is a great place to have a lot of fun with your friends at any age and I recommend everyone give Seabreeze a visit!

This is one of the best amusement parks because the longest wait we had was 30 minutes. Most lines were 15-20 minutes. Waterpark is great too! The only reason that i took a star away is because the food was not even mediocre and the refillable souvenir cup isn't worth it because there are hardly any filling stations. Bring your own lunch and drinks instead.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers expected or what days they went, but my family and I had a wonderful day at the park. We bought our tickets ahead of time online, and you can get a discount if you do so. Sometimes you can also find discount codes online. Parking is free (where can you park free these days?) and we went straight in with our digital tickets. We went on a Thursday and the park was pretty quiet and our max wait on a ride was maybe 10 mins. The park was super clean when we went and I think there choices of food are way more than you can expect at a normal fair/park food. My kids had sub sandwiches that were cheaper and bigger than delis by our house. The bathrooms were super clean when we went and girls were actively cleaning while there too. Sanitizers are located throughout the park for easy access. The views of the Lake from the rides are just lovely, and hard to beat. I love that there are enough varied rides for little kids and adults. We didn't hit the water park, but that was hopping and looked super refreshing. We did a lot of rides twice and maybe spent 3/4 hours. All and I my family had a fun afternoon and would definitely come back.

It's always been a charming, manageable park with reasonable wait times. You can easily hit both the amusement park and the waterpark in one day, which is a huge win. Compared to Canada's Wonderland, which I also grew up going to, we definitely prefer Darien Lake now. Wonderland's crowds are out of control, and it's just not worth the hassle anymore. At Darien Lake, you actually get your money's worth. The coaster lineup is solid for a smaller park, with highlights being: Ride of Steel Tantrum Viper The Predator Plus lots of other fun rides scattered throughout the park. As for the waterpark, it was just okay this time. The Lazy River is fairly basic, and two of the more popular slides were running slowly, causing bottlenecks. Not sure why, but the water was freezing cold, especially on slides like Tornado, still a great ride, but would've been more enjoyable with slightly warmer water. Yes, the park is a bit dated in areas and could use some TLC, but despite that, Darien Lake continues to be a lovable and worthwhile spot. Whether you're going for nostalgia or just want a fun, full day without the chaos of bigger parks, this place still hits.

Which, if you're a mom taking a bunch of tween boys, is honestly quite perfect. I expect if you're a parent of a toddler it is also great but I can't speak to the tots section. Definitely go at 3 for the discounted price. There's not so much to do that you want to spend all day there, nor can you expect to picnic with your own food or find a lot of $$$ food for purchase (unless Dots and pretzels are your typical lunch). You do not need more than 3hrs at this park. You do need a ton of water and splurge for the locker for your valuables so you can leave a beach bag of towels and water on any of the many strategically placed shady loungers. There were no obvious water fountains or sunblock dispensers if that's what you're interested in finding at a place like this (lots of water for "employees only" though). The slides were all really fun, except the two hardcore ones which looked like a massive wedgie machine and an elbow cutter/bathing suit ripper, respectively. Stay with the inner tube options. You'll get plenty of exercise hauling those inner tubes up, but the group slide takes the tube up for you. Heaviest person will end up backward, so keep that in mind if the kids in your tube are complaining that they don't get to go backward and it's boring and you're breaking your neck trying to see the next curve and screaming "hold on! We're all going to die!" (Not me, obv, I was super chill and weigh less than a 12yo.) Maaaaaajor props to the lifeguards. The wave pool is rough with waves from each corner so you're just constantly swaying and a large deep end. The waves are turned off regularly so you can revive yourself for the next go around, but even still, it's easy to get sucked into the deep end and struggle if you're not a strong swimmer and just bouncing off the pool bottom to ride the wave. It's easy to get pulled deeper with each bounce until you can't touch. The lifeguards are stationed every 10' on each side and paying close attention- saw them rescue someone who'd just started that "I'm about to drown" look before any disaster occurred. I was in AWE. There was a lifeguard training happening the whole time we were there in every pool/slide and it was thorough and impressive. So important at a water park!!! One star off because the bathroom and shower area was pretty gross. Only one stall to change in, curtains didn't close, soaking wet floor, cold showers. Prepare accordingly. Also, the lazy river was NOT LAZY. Kids were being wild and shoving, which, fine, but mostly there are several long sections where you're basically fire-hosed and it is not great. Again, prepare accordingly, and maybe use the inner tube around your waist so you can walk through those sections to get through them faster.
