This review is long over due! As a yelp elite I love reaching into the community for best places to support and shop. And my fellow yelpers did me right with Wild Petals ! After an exhaustive afternoon of panicked calls, Wild Petals came thru for me. I live in California and my Auntie lives in Waukesha, WI. Even after several reminders I still.forgot.to get an order out that would send her well wishes for her 80th birthday. With the 2 hr time difference , the odds were not in my favor. Many florists were already closing for the day and or had completed delivery and the drivers were gone. After sharing with the owner how special my need was for a milestone Birthday she personally not only nonly.made the arrangement for that day to be delivered, but she dropped it off herself. What?!?!?! I'm just over the moon with that. Who does this kinda stuff anymore? THEY DO!!! Hands down the best! The customer service is next level. These people have HEART. They take pride in what they do, they care about their customers and the quality of their work. I've used them in the past and always had a positive experience. I was in need of same day delivery to a local hospital so I reached out to see if they could help before looking elsewhere. I received a response almost immediately and they rallied and stepped up to help me. Meaning someone went in to the shop after hours, created a beautiful arrangement AND delivered it same day. While I recognize this may not always be feasible, it meant so much to me. I spoke to both Steve, the owner (while he was out of town skiing with his family) and Sarah, the designer (who made her way to the shop to create and deliver the arrangement with little notice, no hesitation and a positive attitude). It is truly disappointing that I am not able to write a better review. Through all the meetings with Lori I was super excited and had full trust that she would create the most perfect bouquets for my wedding. I had given her several images and examples, so I was confident that there was nothing to worry about. She also told us that all our flowers were being ordered "fresh" right before our wedding so that they would look beautiful. We also decided to have Lori do our center pieces and décor. Our first quote seemed extremely reasonable but when it came time for our final quote, it was significantly more despite removing several tables, extra décor, and services. We asked for an itemised invoice several times but she was never able to give us one. We paid extra to have our bouquets delivered to my hotel so that we could have them for 'getting ready pictures'. When Lori's assistant dropped them off I was pretty taken back at the appearance of what was supposed to be my flowers. The bouquets had random Fuchsia roses in them which was quite a shock when our colors were white, blush, and light pink. The flowers also appeared pretty droopy for what was supposed to be "fresh" roses. I called Lori right away, she had the flowers picked up and was going to fix them. Unfortunately, we were not able to get any photos with our flowers at the hotel for getting ready photos, but still had to pay the extra fee. We arrived at the venue for our ceremony (3:00 pm) and thankfully Lori had the bouquets fixed in time so that the colors matched the color scheme as I envisioned. While walking down the aisle 2 roses had fallen from my bouquet and the keepsake heart & angel gem (representing my brother who passed) that was on my stem had also fallen off. While taking pictures I realised that my flowers were turning brown, so we had to avoid any close up images of my flowers. Two and a half hours after receiving my bouquet, (5:30 pm) my bouquet looked pathetic and I was embarrassed to be carrying dead flowers that were falling apart. Most brides are able to preserve their bouquets as a keepsake, which I would have loved to do, but by the next morning there was really no point in preserving such dead flowers. At the end of the night Lori and her team also showed up extremely late for tear down. They were suppose to disassemble my 10 floral center pieces so that I would be able to keep the flowers, but due to them arriving late, this did not happen. Saying I'm disappointed is merely an understatement. If I could go back, I definitely would have done things differently. read more

The flowers were beautiful, but expect at least $3000.00 budget. They won't provide itemized lists of flowers. They kept my credit card and called me at the Rehearsal Dinner because they wanted more money. The flowers for the flower girl and ring bearers fell apart when we took it out of container to put it on, and they were missing a groomsman corsage, so we didn't have a corsage for the Godparent. You will be missing flowers and they ask the client to use flowers at ceremony and reception and get a ladder and take them down at the reception, even though they charged you to do it?? read more

I would give her no stars but I did like the bouquets. Worst customer service. My son and his bride got married last weekend. We gave her a budget we wanted to stay in. Everything was set. The bride just wanted greens on the table. The week of the wedding the florist tells us that greens are hard to come by and it is going to cost an extra $2,000...FOR GREENS!!! After talking to a local florist I was told this is not true. We told her we agreed on a budget if she couldn't meet that budget we should have been to weeks before the wedding not the week of the wedding when we were at her mercy. We get to the wedding and there is only one strand of greens on the head table! That's it! None on the tables only candles. We were shocked! Then the day after the wedding she wanted my son to pack up all her candle and drive them back to her after we had to pay $300 delivery and set up fee! This should have been included! So we pack the up in the styrofoam and boxes and my son paid an extra $125 for them to be picked up. Then on top of all the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE...she texts my son and says some of the candle holders were broken...they were not when we packed them up...so who ever picked them up must have broke them...now trying to charge an additional $125! Do not choose this florist. My nieces used her and they both told me she keep on trying to increase there quote also. 1. Didn't uphold her end of quote and contract! 2. Lied about the availability of the greens. 3. Charges ridiculous fees for delivery and doesn't follow through with pick up! 4.worst customer service EVER!! read more

Wanted to send a friend a special "Thank you" arrangement. I spoke with Lori and she was awesome ! I told her what my friend likes and colors. She nailed it!
