I can't rave enough about Wild Seafood. I am never disappointed. Great quality seafood and amazing service

Everyone inside was very friendly & would give a 5 stars, but the lady at the cashier was very rude and unpleasant & ruined the experience.

Well, stopped by Wild Seafood last week. Still the best seafood in Maryland. Raising to five stars. The seafood was the freshest you can get in this area and delicious. All of it! The service was really good and professional. Hopefully this will be for a long time. We asked for some ice only to find later they had already put ice in the bag. They even gave us extra ice. I have shopped there for years and was always treated with courtesy. I agree with Dean G. regarding the ability to inspect the fish. Last visit I bought some nice sardines that were absolutely fresh. Also have purchased bronzino, hake, snapper, grouper, rockfish, weakfish and shellfish in the past. read more

re: On site seating and Beer: When it was "Frank's" there were picnic tables in front. Google Maps shows tables and umbrellas. You may want to call them first. I have not been there lately. Beer? Not for sale. But a six pack of Coke on the table and a few Buds in "7-up" koozies would probably go unnoticed if the participants were civil. And, of course, we Baltimorons are always civil. And in case of a bust, Friendship Park and Rockburn Park are right up the road. Selection is excellent. Prices seem a tad high. That said, "Fish: Good, Fresh, Cheap. Pick two." 'Nuff said. read more

Good thing I read other reviews to know that this location was behind a guarded gate. We entered and there were lots of patrons. Most seemed to know how to order. The kind lady in front of me must have sensed my confusion and keyed me in. One the far right, you grab a plastic glove and container and grab the fish you want. The left side, you place an order. She also remarked at how fresh things are and she comes all the time. We grabbed two lobster tails, bronzini filets and crab balls. The gentleman that assisted me was quite helpful. read more

I live in White marsh, md., there are a lot of seafood stores closer but we have chosen to go to wild seafood. Freshness, service, price, and courtious staff. I have never experience nor observed disrespect to any customer. I actually, due to traffic, arrived just as they were closing. They took my order and returned with my order, no complaining. I am an avid fish lover. Seafood to me isn't just about crab and shrimp like many. It is all different kinds of fish which I make a variety of stews from. For stews you surely want the freshest fish and this place definitely kept that promise. A seafood shop that reeks of fishy smell instantly veers me away but I will keep coming back here at least once a week as long as they keep getting the freshest bet as they do now :). read more

We have been buying seafood here for years, beginning back when it was Frank's. We were heartbroken when Frank's closed but ecstatic when Wild Fresh opened with Dave Webb from Frank's running the place. The seafood is so fresh, the crab cakes are outstanding and the prices, although not cheap, are fair. Staff is great. read more

I am writing a review after 3 weekly visits to Wild Fresh Seafood. First of all, you can't beat the selection of whole fish. I have purchased Branzino, ocean trout and spot. All glassy eyed and smelling of the water they were caught in...just gorgeous and super delicious. The wild gulf shrimp they sell remind me of my childhood in Texas and you can't beat the price and quality. On one visit they had perfectly filleted Arctic char, which is a hard to find favorite of mine ,and it was amazing. The Virginia Salts oysters are a must try, and well worth the effort of shucking them at home. The service and staff are just incredible. I love this place and can't imagine buying fish and seafood from anywhere else in the area! read more

Amazing selection, great price and most importantly, fresh fresh fresh seafood!!! The staff is always very pleasant and attentive. The longest amount of time you'll spend is trying to decide what delicious items you want to purchase! The only pain in the butt is the gate guard & the $2.00 fee you have to pay if you come before 10am, but that doesn't count against wild fresh or their service-just come after 10am & you're cool. Pay these folks a visit, they're selling the best fresh seafood I've purchased in Maryland in the last 7 years. read more

Got to say Wild's has the best crabs around and the people working there are equally awesome. I live in Maryland, but my crab-crazed family lives in Philly which could be a 2-3 hour ride depending on traffic. I bring my Coleman cooler and they are more than happy to load up my cooler with crabs and ice. Highly recommend! read more

We found our way here for some jumbo crabs and jumbo shrimp... everyone loved it!!! The jump crabs were so sweet and full of meat it was amazing. I do wish they had more side options so I wouldn't have to go to the grocery store separately but the main point is the seafood and we definitely will return. read more

Awesome place! The head guy David is awesome. I do not know much about the seafood market itself , but he was super helpful with different options and accommodations. I ordered a pound of jumbo shrimp and a dozen of a medium and large blue crab mixed. I was really happy that they were able to steam and season while I was trying to decide the fish. I chose Scottish salmon as well and it was absolutely delicious. I have NEVER had a better piece of fish. If they do not have what you're looking for, just ask and they'll keep and eye out for you. Crabs were good, but the seasoning was terrible. Too sweet. MD crab season should be salty and peppery with a hint of sweetness. Like JO or Old Bay. This seasoning was just paprika, cayenne, and maybe cumin. Would give 4 stars if change seasoning. Or take home and steam yourself. read more

Bought some crabs and and crawfish. Prices were best around. I called 6 places. We picked them up and they were soooo good. Best we have had in a while. Even my 15 yr old said they were good. The crawfish were an after thought. We saw them when we went to pick up and decided to buy. At $6.99 a pound we thought they looked good. They were quite feisty. Those we cooked when we got home. One of our neighbors stopped by and had one. He said they were really fresh. I probably would have given this 5 stars, but the guy who rang us up was just not friendly. And for me personally I get sick of going to spend my money with businesses and you have to deal with the attitude. I believe this guy was probably part owner at a minimum. So hopefully he will work in back of house from now on since he doesn't have good customer interaction. We will go back. read more

This may be my favorite seafood market in the Columbia/Ellicott City area now. I saw a Groupon for this place, and decided to check it out because it had really good reviews on Yelp. I went on a Sunday right after it opened. You have to go through a gate where the security officer asks for your driver's license. He gives you a ticket that contains a code to open the gate on your way out. We got crabs and fresh tuna for sashimi. They have dollar crabs (if you pay in cash). If you pay with credit cards, then it's $1.25 per crab, so make sure that you have cash! We got the dollar crabs because they had just steamed them. Other medium or large crabs were cold. They said I had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes if I wanted fresh, hot medium or large crabs. The dollar crabs were really good! Everything was so fresh! I am definitely returning to this place whenever I want some fresh sashimi. read more

They're back and I am so happy. I ordered jumbo crabs and they were delicious. The cost was reasonable. The layout of the place is improved. My family has purchased our seafood from them since the 70's. They have reasonable prices, fantastic customer service and they remember all of their customers.
