Extremely disappointed with Moxie Pest Control…read more I specifically asked about the coverage for a one-time service, and I was clearly told that I had 90 days to call back if the pest problem returned. I relied on that information when I paid for the service. When I later called because I was still having a pest problem, I was told that the coverage was actually only 30 days. That is completely different from what I was told when I purchased the service. I feel that I was misled by the representative about the 90-day coverage. If the policy was only 30 days, that should have been clearly explained to me before I paid--not after I needed to call back for help. This is not just a misunderstanding. Customers make decisions based on the information representatives provide, and changing the story afterward is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Moxie needs to do a better job training its representatives and making sure customers are given accurate information about their service guarantees. Based on my experience, I am very disappointed with both the service and the customer service.

When I contacted the office they tried to tell me that dry contact time is not necessary for herbicide application. Then last Friday they sent an email that they would be performing aeration/seeding this week when the heat index will be 100+ with no rain in sight. These services should be performed in early fall; not the extreme heat of summer. The bottom line: LawnWise is only concerned with collecting payment (ahead of time if you agree to it) for going through the motions and checking boxes in regard to turf management.
