This place opened in the 1990s. It was great then but is not so great now. It has visual signs of disrepair. Only 1 of 3 concessions is open - lines are long. Price of admission, season pass, daily pass, and concessions is exhorbatant. Food quantity & quality don't warrant the prices. They seem short staffed but the staff they do have is friendly and competent. And they check your bag when you come in - you can't bring in any outside food or beverage - not even water. Great waterpark lots of things to do for the kids! It was very cold for June. Would suggest allowing water to come into the waterpark as we had to dump out all of our little kids water bottles. Where we come from, you are allowed to bring water into Locations due to heat. Lots of cute areas for little kids. For older kids and adults there are water slides. That's the only good I can say. The wave pool is ok, but no tubes or floaties allowed so you can't hang in the water and enjoy the waves. So, you basically just stand there. The lazy river was a huge disappointment. For starters, it's only 2-1/2 feet deep. You can't even hang off your tube and float. Your feet and legs scrape the bottom. There are no double tubes or doubles with one bottom for small children. If you have a little one, gotta hold it. Way too many things in the Lazy River that squirt or dump water on you with no way to avoid most of them. Just not relaxing and fun. And cold! Second of all, it's not painted and the partially rusty concrete gives it a dark, unpleasant look. Just rather nasty looking. The whole place is just kinda dumpy looking. Bumper boats barely move. They were so slow we got out of line and didn't even go. And, yes, they do search completely though all your bags and of your stuff. You might be trying to bring in some water. So, know that going in. This place just doesn't live up to the price tag at all. Skip the machine margaritas. We dumped them. Bright yellow, tasted nothing like a margarita, no lime flavor, not even a hint of tequila, just a weird chemical taste. We had tickets for another day. We're not going. Great waterpark, lots to see and check out! However as other reviewers have stated, once in a while they will say they're closed because of bad weather, even if the weather is not even close to being bad. Here's a suggestion for anybody who plans on going there next summer, check their Facebook page first before traveling a long way to this water park. That's my complaint on this otherwise awesome waterpark. read more

Nice place to cool off in the SF heat. Great price for all the fun. (Everyone should keep their eyes peeled for special offers). Would prefer water misters around the lazy river though. And mini golf is really "speed mini golf" because of all the people behind you. Just to be safe, make sure to read all the signs & listen up for intercom announcements. Such a fun day with my friends and got a lot of bang for my buck. Super happy that we weren't charged extra for the bumper boats, go karting, and batting cages!! Only down side is that everybody other than the ticketers at the front and the nice older woman working the tiki bar seemed like they hated their jobs. The lifeguards at almost every ride looked like they wanted to be somewhere else and even gave attitude when we asked them some questions about the park. I know it's summer and no one wants to be working but geez it would've been nice to have some more friendly people there. Overall we had a nice time for a great price! read more

Drove 3 hours on a beautiful sunny summer day to go to this waterpark. Bought our tickets at a gas station in town the night before. When we arrived at the waterpark at 11 am it was closed. Called the office and they told us that it was closed due to "inclement weather". When I told her that it was 68 with 0% chance of rain she told me that they don't open if it's not 70 by opening time. Told her we already bought tickets and was pretty much told too bad we could use them another day. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Went with my family today. The slides were fine. The kids area was fine. The wave pool? Not much in the way of a wave as much as just really turbulent water that comes from two directions and shoves people into each other. Took my wife and son on the lazy river. After we got started, I noticed a bunch of people drinking beer and sodas in their tubes. Then we floated past a "swim up" bar. Isn't this a "family" ride? I couldn't wait to get out after imagining the gallons of alcohol-laden urine in the water. We all know it happens, but this is the first time I've ever instructed my son not to put his head under water. We moved over to the bumper boats. It's fun for kids. Moved on to the go-karts.... The karts are all gas-powered, so standing in line for almost an hour with poor ventilation and a fan, sitting on the floor right next to several running karts, blowing directly at the crowd standing in line to ride said karts - I could feel the group's cumulative IQ take a dive... Additionally, there were two rows of karts that were being used. Instead of putting the next group in the karts to leave once the racing group is finished, there were constantly at least 8 unoccupied karts RUNNING inside the space the whole time we waited. It was the pinnacle of inefficiency mixed with a hefty dose of CO. read more

Took our family there for the day {4 adults and 4 kids} and it was not relaxing, as those lifeguards are blowing their whistles constantly, and the poor kids aren't even doing anything bad. My gosh, my grandson jumped off the crab in the pool, and he got kicked out of the pool. I went and talked to the lifeguard and asked what he did to get kicked out, and she informed me that he jumped off the crab, and he did it ONCE, and had no idea he couldn't do that!!!!! My gosh=let kids be kids, and give them a little leaveway. I asked at the consession stand for a cup of water, and was told that they couldn't give it out-we would have to buy it in a bottle, ow we could go to the drinking fountain, which I already tried, and it was warm!!!! My grandson got hurt on the slide and the lifeguard was very rude, and said she had to keep walking, and wouldn't help me. You know the kids aren't having fun, when they want to leave! I will never go back there again!! I will gladly drive farther, and pay more to go to a waterpark where kids can be kids!!! read more

I live out of state and was very excited to take my family to this waterpark but it turned out to be not all what I imaged. So my husband and I were on the lazy river with our children and I stopped at the swim up bar to buy 1 beer at the price of $7.00, I kept my card open so that my husband could swim in as you had to be over 21 to enter (which is just fine) and I rode around the river with the kids while he bought 1 beer at the price of $7.00. When he cashed out our tab he stated they didn't give him a receipt. We figured it was due to not want paper receipt in the river and thought nothing of it because we actually have faith in what seemed to be a nice family run establishment. When I got home and checked my account my card was charged double of what it should of been. After calling a couple times I finally got a response and they stated there was nothing they could do about it without a receipt. I was given no options or given a name of any other manager even though they were in the fault as I was not given a receipt. I am blown away by how they treated this situation. Other complaints are the infant/toddler pool was super slippery. My 2 year old slipped atleast 4 times (was not running at the time) and they have a smoking section very close to the small children's pirate slides and activity gym.
