They reviewed our remodel plans, toured the property, and gave a very convincing presentation. Based on their assurances, we hired them and sent a bank wire transfer to start the project. Unfortunately, by February 2025, nothing had been done. Several contract deadlines passed with no progress, and despite repeated attempts, I could not get Ron or Melissa Stinemetze to return my calls. Later that month, we received a notice that Silver Creek Designs had closed. No work had ever begun, and the money we paid was not returned. This was a devastating and extremely disappointing experience. In my opinion, Ron and Melissa Stinemetze did not act professionally or honorably. They may reappear under a different business name, so I strongly urge others to use extreme caution.
