I picked up my coffee this morning and Gordon had a hand written sign saying good bye. I knew it was too good to be here forever. Someone as talented and dedicated to excellence as Gordon is would naturally need to roll once he had perfected his vision. Which he has. I will miss the perfect cup of coffee right outside my office. I am also happy for him to have the courage to make this move. Wherever it takes him, I know it will be grown with purity of intention.

Lucky for me, the Bottleneck Coffee truck is at the CMD Greenway almost every day (except Mondays, and believe me, I think about it on Mondays). Sometimes I will bring a coffee to my husband, who works at the medical hospital as a nurse, as a midday pick me up. He loves this! He'd never been a fan of Vietnamese iced coffee, but he likes this version of the classic drink because it doesn't use condensed milk. Fun fact: there is also a vegan version! The icing on the cake of this food truck is that the owner is so nice, and consistently delivers great service and really, simply great coffee at a totally reasonable price.

The atmosphere is lively and perfect for a weekend outing. We weee visiting and picked up some great gifts to bring home. We enjoyed browsing what the has to offer & thought our coffee were delightful from Coastal Cowgirl Coffee too! My daughter got cotton candy that did t have much flavor just tasty ed of plain sure yet still a fun treat. They have the nicest set up for pets. Little doggie stations that have tents, towels, buckets of water and bowls for them to rehydrate. They go above and beyond for their furry friends visiting the market. Only downside was that it gets quite crowded, fresh produce and local crafts can be somewhat expensive & you have to pay for parking, so you may have a little further of a walk to get there.

I found the food just ok, but I will definitely be visiting again. The truck itself is really cool and you can tell they designed it for this purpose. It is really modern with a TV menu out front and a chip reader on the counter with your own touch screen for payment. The truck is clean and looks great. The truck itself def gets 5 stars for form and function. I had the bison dog, wagyu sliders and the Parmesan tots. The bison dog itself was good but it was covered it too much other stuff. Trying it for the first time I didn't want to alter it but next time I will know to ask to hold back on some of the stuff. The sliders were good but nothing to write home about. Cook well and had a nice sauce but then they had a cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. I thought that was an odd choice. It seemed to cheapen the idea of a wagyu slider with something akin to nacho cheese sauce on top of it. The tots however...damn these were good. No idea if they made these themselves or if they came out of a bag but you couldn't tell either way. They had no frozen or stale taste to them, were fried well and you got plenty of them. They had salt & pepper, cilantro and Parmesan...all in the right amounts. For $2 there is no way I would say no to them...ever. Overall it was an ok experience, but I will definitely be returning as I can certainly see something amazing coming out of this truck.

Staff was quick, friendly, and helpful. They do have dinner specials, sometimes happy hour specials.
