The servers were very friendly and helpful (too many wing choices to make a decision - especially when you're hungry, so they helped!). This is a sports bar but not over the top with wall to wall tv screens - just the right amount! Decor was interesting and seating was well placed and spaced. We ordered the Alti Special and the lemon pepper dry rub with a hot honey dipping sauce. Both were excellent. Wings were piping hot too! Nice to know this neighborhood bar has transitioned and is still producing quality wings. By the way, their menu is quite extensive for a wing place. Lots of pub food! Wow!…read more **Disappointing Experience - Will Not Return** I recently dined at St Louis bar & grill hwy 27 and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the service was lackluster. I understand that it was busy, but it took an eternity for our server to greet us and take our order. Once we finally placed our order, we waited over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive and another hour for our food to arrive. When it finally did, it was cold and seemed as if it had been sitting out for a while. I ordered the chicken wings which were cold, all drums and we got charged for their very "famous" wing sauce (I understand the charge as lately we are living in a shrinkflation money hungry and profit driven society these days) but they were poorly seasoned and terrible quality. Our lettuce for our chicken lettuce wraps was half Moldy qnd had not been washed before served. Clearly a lack in food safety handling there. My familys meal was similarly just as unappetizing. To make matters worse, our server was nowhere to be found when we needed assistance. I had to walk to the bar several times to fix our drinks and obtain cutlery. It took multiple attempts to flag someone down for a drink refill, and even then, our requests felt like an inconvenience to the staff. Overall, the combination of poor service and subpar food made for a frustrating evening. I had high hopes for this place based on previous reviews, but I will not be returning. Management needs a review here. Clearly operations have been looked over and this place will soon be run to the ground if it weren't for all the televisions. Even after very very politely complaining to the management the only thing they were able to offer was to take off a drink that we had previously sent back. LOL. I'm sorry. The servers were friendly and I understand they have to entertain it to earn their living but I should not have to be harassed in the process. Our server forgot items and did not punch them in the POS so we never got it. Luckily it was not on the bill. The special for the AYCE boneless wings is not worth it. They are heavily bread and fatty with uneven coats of batter. Not much meat on them. I still always enjoy the beer prices. I came to this location since it was there but I'll keep going to my main location outside Canada wonderland moving forward. (The special that night was the burger platter and one could have it with their lower cost domestic beers, or something without alcohol.) Rounding out the platter was a nice serving of fries ... the kind with the ridges ... and they were good. The platter took a while to come to the table. However, given how good it was, this didn't matter. They got it right. The final tab was to my liking. I added a tip to reflect how welcoming and good natured the service was. Note that, even though later hours are kept, the kitchen closes a little earlier. Not knowing the landscape, it then became apparent that St. Louis Bar and Grill is a chain, albeit a sports bar that would, in my opinion, channel wings and ribs from places in the U.S. Lastly, it's less than 2 large blocks from the terminus station of TTC Line 1 up at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.
