This Wild Wings always has cold fresh draft. The owner has his draft lines flushed and taps cleaned on a regular basis. My son have been going there weekly since day one. We rarely had a problem and if so has handled quickly and efficiently. I have read some of the negative reviews and I would suggest another try as I believe this is one of the best in the chain. I have visited around seven other locations which provided okay results but always stick with home base. Twelve years of great wings and cold beer that will continue on. The fries have their in-house salt added so make sure you you mention no salt if that is your desire. With several types of wings to order , I prefer breaded mild bbq, but there are almost 100 tastes/toppings to discover. This used to be our go to spot before it sold earlier this year. The new owner let go of all the staff and replaced with inexperienced cook staff who are obviously family or friends. The food was horribly salty, the gravy was nothing but chunks of mush that you could clearly tell they scraped from the bottom of the pot instead of making a fresh batch. The wings were so overcooked we could barely chew them. The old owner's remaining serving staff (the ones that were left yet) were so apologetic as they knew the quality of the food was horrible. When we asked to speak to the manager (who was too busy surfing on his phone at the back), all he offered was a 10% discount on our next visit. Are you kidding me!!! Why would we EVER come back after this experience. He was completely unapologetic, and he did not care that he served absolute garbage. The new owner has ruined this establishment. read more

My boyfriend and I went to Wild Wing for Valentines Day this year, as this was the first place we ever ate in Waterloo and wanted to return. The food overall was great! The service was excellent, too. The only thing about this experience was that I had super hard plastic or glass in my water, BUT, the server we had absolutely made up for this by giving us an incredible discount, and being super apologetic about the entire thing. As a server myself I understand things happen, and was super pleased with the way the staff reacted to this, immediately, after it happened. Food: Amazing wings, the breading wings I had we pretty good and had a great marinade. The friend wings with a mild sauce was terrific. Customer service: The waitress was super kind and very personable. We had great banter and she seemed to really enjoy her job. The lady serving us was nice , however the rest of the experience was mediocre at best. Our pop was flat (was offered a can instead which suggests they were already aware of an issue and didn't bother to mention it). The wings were overly salty and not very warm , neither were the fries which were undercooked and lukewarm. I told the server I did not enjoy the food , and was not offered any solution whatsoever to make the experience better. So I paid $20 for a can of Pepsi I didn't want , and half a plate of wings and fries that seemed like they were reheated at half power in an old microwave. read more

I went to this wild wings location today with my friends and we were being served by a girl. When she came by to take our order, I asked her if adding pickles to my burger would lead to an added charge. She proceeded to berate us by asking us to "OK, listen" and asked if we have ever been to a real restaurant, and implied that we are only used to going to fast food establishments like Burger King. My friends and I felt so taken aback at this unprofessionalism that we could not even stomach our food. I think it's safe to say that I will not be returning to this location. read more

This is my favourite Wild Wings location, the service is always good and the wings are consistently delicious! It can get pretty busy during dinner time, but the waitresses never forget about us and are always checking up. The specials are always great, especially wednesday night, and Pickled Willys are a must have as an appetizer. Other people I have gone with have not been impressed with the food, but they never get the wings! That's what I go to a wing restaurant for, how about you? read more

Half-price Wednesdays! You are just required to purchase a drink (can be pop), but who doesn't have a beer with wings? They have traditional, not breaded and boneless to choose from. Our group had traditional and boneless, both of which are great. The wings are also fully cooked, no pink - but also not overcooked! I usually play it safe with honey garlic, but on the second lb I tried honey garlic with gar par which was amazing!!! Our server was friendly and very prompt. Went for lunch with a few friends and enjoyed the meal on a Thursday. The place has a nice patio which is great for eating out in summer, and the service was friendly and quick. On to the food. My friend had an order of the Daisy Duke wings ( BBQ + Med + mango chipotle), I had my favourite, Farmer's Daughter (BBQ + Med + Wild Jerk). Both were good but I usually get Farmers Daughter. My other friend got the Appetizer special which was buy one get one free at the purchase of a drink wither beer or pop. Had the deep fried pickles (pickled willys), mac n' cheese triangles. We all shared the Gar Par Fries (garlic parmesan dressing) with hot sauce (Highly recommend). All of these options were great and were reasonably priced. The wings are large enough to get decently full and the sides made me satisfyingly full. The appetizer special is available from 3 to 6pm The server we had was very friendly. I recommend this to people who are in the mood for wings. I think they are the best wings in town, right in front of Morty's Pub, Wings Up and definitely better than pizza places. $6 - $15 prices. We went for an evening of dining at wild wings on a Monday around 7 PM and three of my friends and I ordered a basket of wings with fries. This took an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive on the table and when it arrived the wings were cold. I have to confess that the food was overpriced the service was awful. One of the worst interactions I've had at a restaurant. I ordered pick up, got home just realize that I was given the wrong order. When I called to tell them that I was not given an apology but was told to drive back and get my food which I did. Parking is limited at night it's not well lit, park in front if you can. Menu is gimmicky, the pre made small mini dipping sauces not appealing can't dip but a French fry in - as for fries those too are a mediocre serving as is everything else. Wings were good, beer was good, staff was super friendly. Only caution is that Candian hot is American mild. Lots of wing flavor choices, kinda overwhelming, but the ones i ordered were tasty. Plenty of tv for watching sports. read more

Ordered for take out, got the WRONG order. Called to let them know, was told they would send out the right order and that they would call me back with the estimated arrival time. One hour later, I call again to find out what's going on, and told that the wings will be leaving soon. Another half hour later and still nothing. None the less, never ever again. read more
