I was doing yoga outdoor at Grigg's park when a nice woman walked over and told our instructor there had been an accident. After realizing it was my car she was describing, I walked over to the street with her and saw what had happened to my car.... Luckily she had taken a photo while they were still there, because they bolted out of there as fast as they could. Apparently they backed into my car when trying to turn around. I saw they left a phone number on the windshield and that was it. Not only do they clearly not know how to operate a moving truck, they also DO NOT HAVE COMMERCIAL AUTO INSURANCE? How are you operating a well managed moving business without insurance?? This has been a nightmare to deal with and they have accepted no responsibility, yet to compensate for the damages they caused. If I could give no stars, I would do it 100x over. I had the worst experience with wildcat movers. I hardly leave reviews but I cannot let this slide. This is a very long post but I highly recommend reading before touching this company with a 10 foot pole! First issue: they did not take my son's climbing dome apart to transport to the new house so they threw it over my fence to get it out of my backyard. Before they could even leave the neighborhood, it fell out of the truck and they couldn't get it back in. Our time is running while all this is happening so my husband tells them to just take it back to the house because we're literally at the stop sign of our neighborhood in the road. They carry it to the back of the house and throw it over the fence AGAIN to get it back into the backyard. Second issue: they attempted to get my reclining couches upstairs. They tried the loveseat, couldn't get it around the corner or the stairs and gave up. I looked up YouTube videos, asked chat gpt, called the manufacturer, and everything told me that the backs of the couches could be removed. The movers looked around with their flashlights and couldn't see the levers to remove the backs so they didn't even try to take them upstairs. I asked them to bring a couch down that was already upstairs and they didn't even do that. They left my couches scattered in the living room, didn't put the feet back on, and left. I had to hire someone else and pay them to remove the backs and get my couches upstairs that night. Third issue: they forgot the hardware (screws) for my son's bed and dresser at the old house. They left without getting the bed and dresser put together. They told my husband that him and I could hold the mirror up and push the dresser under it to hold the mirror up. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and it is not our job to do what they're supposed to do! They also left his mattress wrapped in plastic with tape all over it. Fourth issue: they scratched up our dining table during the move and tried to say we did it. We are a family of three, we eat in the living room or kitchen island 98% of the time. Our dining table is very well taken care of and always protected with table cover when we use it. The damage was absolutely caused by them. Fifth issue: they forgot the hardware for my son's monkey bars at the old house. They left them on their side in the back yard and other part of it in the house. Sixth issue: we have a glass two tiered tv stand. They removed the glass for transport, put the tv stand where we wanted it and didn't put the glass back. The glass is still wrapped in their company protectors against the wall next to the tv stand. Seventh issue: they left the light bulbs for my vanity behind and could not finish assembling it. I called the company twice while they were here. I was guaranteed that they were going to get the couches figured out and up the stairs (I was so upset about the couches because I have new ones coming that I didn't notice or focus on everything else until after they left). I was told their manager would speak to the two men working and make sure my couches got upstairs, that did not happen. They left without getting the couches upstairs, when they told me they weren't going to try again bc they couldn't figure it out, I tried to call the company back and it was past 6pm so they were closed and I got no answer. I told the lead mover to call his supervisor and tell him I need to speak to him, he called him and his supervisor said I would have to wait until tomorrow (Saturday) to speak to someone bc the office was closed. The two movers told me if we could figure out how to remove the backs and if we found the hardware for the bed and monkey bars, they would come out the next morning for free to fix them. I told them they do not have permission to charge my card until I speak to a manager about my experience. I woke up this morning and was charged $600 more than I was quoted. I called the office and asked for a manager and got told that managers do not work on the weekends and I need to call back Monday. Monday is Memorial Day so I don't know if the office will be open then anyways. I feel like I got played. I was lied to multiple times and left with unfinished work. I was charged more than I was quoted. It took way longer than it was supposed to and all they had to move was large furniture. We did not have them transport any boxes or small items at all. I took pictures of everything and sent it before I signed the contract and was advised I only needed two movers, given an estimated time of 7 hours to complete the work, and the quote. There is absolutely no reason any of this should've taken this long, there is no reason the work wasn't done, there is no reason I was charged before a manager called me, there was no reason for all the lies. Please, please, please save yourself the trouble and never, ever deal with this crooked company. read more

BEWARE OF FRAUD! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I recently had the unfortunate experience of contracting Wildcat Movers to move my things to a new house across town. When they came to pack, they told us that they were not permitted to transport liquor, which was fine, we said we would move that ourselves. However, they instead packed it, loaded it into their truck, and then BROKE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS IN LIQUOR BOTTLES due to their own negligence--after they made a big deal about not being allowed to transport it. On top of that, they destroyed a perfectly good (before them) leather chair and improperly handled paintings so that now they're smeared all over the canvases. Further, THEY DIDN'T EVEN MOVE EVERYTHING THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. There were several rooms and closets of things that they had identified as needing to be moved--many of which they even packed to move the day before--and then just left at the old location. The icing on this s**t cake of a disaster is that they then proceeded to CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION WHEN I REPORTED THE DAMAGES AND BREAKAGE THEIR MANAGER. I will be filing a police report in the morning for online fraud and reporting them to my bank. Worst moving experience yet. They took 8 hours to move a two bedroom apartment. One of the guys spent some time of that move watching a football game on his phone. They damaged a lot of our stuff. The didn't put our bed back together properly, there's screws and washers all over the floor falling out under it. They made us take a pic with them and post a review in front of them, which explains all the high rating reviews that were coerced. Negligent and uncaring - don't use Wildcat for your move. They advertise precision and care, but that is not what we received from them this past Saturday. One of their movers who disconnected our refrigerator from the water line left the water running, and it ran into the floor all weekend while we were away. Water soaked through the wall and into our flooring. After days of trying to speak with someone at Wildcat, I finally got Daniel on the phone who told me: "You signed a contract stating we are not responsible for water damage." Thousands of dollars of water damage to our property, and Wildcat refused to make it right. We will be paying for this damage out of pocket. They also did a lot of damage to our walls, including golfball size holes in the drywall. It remains to be seen if they will fix the drywall and paint, but that is insignificant compared to the water damage. Wildcat showed negligence in handling our possessions and our property, and lacks the basic integrity to make it right. You should use someone else. read more

I was out of town on a work trip and my fiancé was in the process of moving into our first house (hard enough to trust as it is) and the reviews led us to hire this company as they seemed pretty good. Poor experience. Surprising considering the amount of positive reviews. There were a few things that made our move with Wildcat a negative experience. The first being simply inconvenient and the later inexcusably poor customer service. For the items they did move, they seemed to pack things well and used care handling them. The first issue was earlier in the move and I was able to take care of it. I had to review the list I sent to them to make sure I wasn't mistaken, but I had explicitly listed the items before even getting a quote. We were told our gym (A Tonal), a sit-stand desk, and TV's (Wall mounted) were not able to be moved. That would have been good to know prior to the move. The second came after the movers unloaded at the new address. We were told by the crew that they would not be returning for the remainder of our items. They stated they had another job to get to and needed to leave. Obviously, a little strange, but I don't know what I could really do about it. I expressed our lease was up and we would obviously need the rest of our items. I was told there wasn't anything they could do and I would need to call the office and they would send another crew out. Long story short, I called and was told someone would reach out asap. I never heard from them again. I ended up having to pay some prorated rent for moving out of the old address late and for the service of another mover. Genuinely amazing service and the guys worked quickly and were a good time to be around. Moving always sucks it was 102 degrees and they never stopped moving and getting things set up! We moved several large appliances and a safe plus all the furniture and boxes. It is worth the price and makes moving way way easier. BEWARE!! DO NOT USE WILDCAT! Nightmare move - Terribly handled. We were quoted between 3.75 & 5.75 hours total - moving out of our 1 bedroom apartment took 4 hours alone. Total move ended up taking 9 hours. Take your money elsewhere. Wildcat quoted us $700, we left paying double, feeling sick, embarrassed, and frustrated. DO NOT USE WILDCAT. The drop off at our new high-end apartment is where things went sideways. Once we checked in with the building manager, he gave us keys and showed us where the freight elevator and loading dock was located. I was waiting inside the loading dock while Ricky(driving) was backing up the truck into the loading bay while Tyreeh was supposed to be spotting. Ricky started backing up the truck, hitting the chain link clearance warning sign, Tyreeh failed to mention that Ricky had hit the clearance so Ricky continued to reverse. Eventually Ricky backed the truck up far enough where the truck hit a water / sewage pipe. A very loud and high-pressure liquid (sewage) started pouring out of the pipe, spraying onto the top of the truck and onto the loading dock area. Liquid got all over and smelt terrible. I witnessed it all from inside the loading dock and had to run out of the loading dock, through the sewage water to tell Ricky to move the truck forward to get out of the spray which was getting all over the truck. The fire alarm started going off, the whole building had to evacuate and could see this happen. The water/sewage was spraying for over 3 hours until the fire department was able to shut the pipe off. I instructed Wildcat to move the truck to the side away from the spray, I informed the building management and started taking pictures and videos of the situation. We instructed Ricky to then move the truck onto the street, where we exchanged insurance information and called Wildcat to inform them of the horrible situation. We then started moving in through another door near the front entrance and had access to the same freight elevator. Something we could have done from the start if we knew the truck was too big for the loading dock. It was a costly mistake that could have easily been avoided. It was a VERY stressful move in, embarrassing, and not a good first impression with management and made the move in experience was terrible. The move resumed and started moving items into the new apartment. Something gross that bothered me was that Ricky and Tyreeh were walking through the sewage water when the pipe burst and were then walking throughout our brand-new apartment (carpet). I've gotten very sick since the move on and could very possibly be a bacterial infection from the sewage or the movers walking through our apartment with the same shoes they walked through the liquid in.....I've had to miss over a week of work now. The apartment management has also asked that I now get involved as needed in the insurance process since I witnessed and have pictures of it all. I'm disappointed the travel fee was charged on top of the hourly rate when travelling. Seems like a double cost here. When we first reached out to Wildcat for quotes and to organize the move, they were quick with their responses. Since the disaster move, I've tried reaching out multiple times and Wildcat has been completely ignoring my emails and the situation. I haven't gotten any response from Daniel or Zane, not even an apology. Terrible customer service. DO NOT USE WILDCAT. read more

They change guys alot. I used them several times. They have good coupons. They charge me roughly about $400 for a small studio move across town. The guys are fast and work hard, but sometimes they tend to overlook things and get a tad careless. One mover let a piece of furniture break the drywall in my new place, and my box with very very personal items was opened. One of the boxes he sat upside down, as well. But they have efficient scheduling, and they do show up on time. Your experience might be different because as stated they send out different guys each time. read more

DO NOT USE! WILDCAT MOVERS ARE TERRIBLE - the worst. Avoid at all costs or you will regret it. My wife and I used Wildcat Movers to move our personal property from a storage facility and an apartment into our brand new, just renovated house in Dallas. We had spent over a year building it and had literally just finished the final touches days before. We couldn't wait to get all of our furniture into the new place and to get settled. On the day of the move, their guys decided it would be a good idea to drag a rusty, metal hand truck, heavily loaded with boxes, up our brand new staircase (ka-bang, ka-bang, ka bang) not just scratching them up but GAUGING OUT HUGE CHUNKS OF THE WOOD in the process. They also severely damaged a high-end dining table and night stands. Ok - things get damaged during moves. It happens. We made a claim. For the stair repair we got two different estimates - one from our builder, who had just finished the stairs. And a second estimate from their recommended vendor - who said he coudn't get it to "like new" condition, but said he could make it less of a huge eyesore that you see going up and down the stairs. In the spirit of compromise, we said we would be ok with the lower estimate - although it killed us to know that our beautiful hardwood stairs had been ruined before we had even spent one night in the house. Wildcat's offer to fix the stairs was a paltry 20% of the LOWER ESTIMATE (which itself was a fraction of the real replacement costs)! Trying to compromise, we even said we wouldn't claim the furniture - just to try to get close to what it would cost for THEIR REPAIR GUY to get the stairs fixed. We were making all kinds of concessions, but Wildcat wouldn't budge an inch. After wasting countless, frustrating, hours trying to find a solution with Wildcat, we went to mediation through TXDOT. However, even in mediation they wouldn't compromise at all. Zane (owner) basically said "tough luck - take it or leave it". So, we left it. Now, I'm here on Yelp using one of the few tools that we consumers have to fight back against this kind of abysmal service - the one-star review. I'm here to warn you: DO NOT USE WILDCAT MOVERS. DO NOT LET YOUR FRIENDS USE WILDCAT MOVERS. IF YOU SEE SOMEONE THINKING OF USING WILDCAT, WARN THEM. If I could leave zero stars, I would. At first the quote and booking was seamless and quick-they were very responsive. However the day of move, a few of them sat around talking about comics while not working. I had to remind them multiple times about my backyard furniture and stuff in shed to be moved. They left a mess in the old house with trash and water all over the kitchen floor. In the new house, they damaged part of the wall. The assured me a claim would be done but I never heard anything. They didn't put all of the furniture back together (like handles to my rower were left in the bedroom vs the workout room upstairs). They seemed to be in a hurry to leave and didn't ask me about placement on a lot of the furniture. I contacted the company to ask about providing feedback and the damage done-they said there wasn't a "formal process" but that I could let that individual know directly. So this a two-part review, because I ended up hiring these guys twice in the same week. They were that good. First, Damien, Walter and Gamez did an excellent job the first time around! They were on time and moved the furniture we requested during our estimate. They put protectors around the doors and walls, so they wouldn't get scratched while they were loading stuff. Based on our estimate we only needed 3 movers and medium sized truck.. My husband and I had planned to move other boxes ourselves. Well that did not happen LOL. We were so wiped from everything else, that we hadn't even finished properly packing. Cue Wildcat move part 2. I called these guys up again and asked if they could finish packing and move the remainder of our stuff (because at this point - I am OVER IT). Joseph was awesome to work with and provided me with another quote and was able to fit me in within a couple of days.. seriously THE BEST! I also have to say I love the way the quote process works, being able to facetime them and walk around our house to show them what we need to have moved so they can provide an accurate quote is a game changer. This time I worked with Byron and Edwin. They both did an excellent job of packing everything and loading it in the truck. They even helped me load the boxes of liquids (detergents, cleaning products, etc.) into my car. Both experiences were GREAT and I would highly recommend Wildcat Movers - Dallas. read more

I use this moving company February 15, 2024 to move a one bedroom apartment. It took them 10 hours. Do I feel ripped off? Hell yes! I'm still finding screws to my TV stand that barely hanging in there. And it was brand new. The floor lamps I had to throw away because the screws at the bottom of it were ALL missing. As for my bedroom furniture on my bureau where you put the mirror is not there because the screws are missing as well. the screws are missing on everything I needed. It took me over two months to go through everything because they did not pack the way I asked him to. I had everything pre-done. They undid it. Reached out to the owner by text messages All have been ignored. I paid over $2000 for a move that should've taken at the most 5 to 6 hours for a one bedroom apartment with one couch a few TVs bedroom furniture and that's about it. 10 hours unacceptable. So if you want to be price gouged ripped off these are the movers to go to. I have pictures of the 2 young fella that moved my stuff but out of respect I'm not gonna post them. Do yourself a favor do not use these people. Unless you live in a house and maybe then they'll treat your belongings with respect and you won't be price couch as I was moving from a one bedroom apartment to another.
